We spent a week in this great home while hiking and biking Acadia National Park. It was the perfect distance from the park and Bar Harbor. Amber was a great host and her property was exceptionally clean and very comfortable for four adults. If we ever vacation in that area again I will look to book this exact same home

Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We really enjoyed Acadia National Park and your home was well stocked with everything we needed to feel at home.
We really enjoyed the cardinal that visited your kitchen windows every morning between 6:30 and 7am. We view cardinals as a visitor from heaven, so it was a treat!
Thank you again, for a great stay.

We made the trip to visit Acadia NP and bar harbor. The was perfectly located to enjoy both. Close enough to be very convenient. Loved the large whirlpool tub for after hikes. They provided extras that are always appreciated (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) Had a good selection of games. Really appreciated all the information on things to do locally. Only 5 minutes away from the highly recommended lobster place.
Only thing is wished there was a table inside to accommodate being able to sit down and eat,, although provided outside sometimes we ate later in the evening. Beds are a little noisy when moving around.
Listing is very accurate, and I would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend to Friends and family.

The house was in a great location for accessing activities, with Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, and the other towns on MDI within a short drive. The house was clean and quiet, with a good selection of reading material about local attractions.

Very convenient location to both Bar Harbor and South Harbor. Not far from the Carriage Trails and many hikes. The house was very clean, quiet and was a peaceful place to relax.

This kind of is spacious pristinely, clean, and absolutely perfectly appointed. The property owner has thought of everything. There are helpful notes to guide your usage of the property. The bookshelves are full of hiking books, art books, points of interest, reading, and games for the family. We will definitely Look forward to staying at this property again.

Great location. Great place to stay. Great response from host.

The property matched the listing.
Lack of kitchen table/chairs is the only observation I missed when booking. Not a big deal for adult groups (Breakfast bar with seating for two exists.)
It was great that a hard sided cooler was provided!

Excellent location for touring the island!! It was hard to believe though how many people don't know how to open casement windows and a lot of the window cranks were broken. With AC at times the house got hot not being able to open all the windows. Overall our stay was very nice and enjoyable!! Thank you Amber for hosting us!

Amber's neat and tidy home offers a convenient launch point to not only downtown Bar Harbor but also lots of other spots across MDI. We appreciated having the kitchen so that we could make breakfast and lunch at home, and even pack a few picnic dinners for enjoying at sunsets throughout the park. The kitchen and living area inside are not particularly large so if you are planning to host a large group dinner indoors this is not the space for you. However, there was also deck seating and backyard seating that could accommodate a larger group, whether permitting. It's more or less a 30 minute drive or shorter to most points of interest around the island. The bedrooms are a nice size and Amber provided extra blankets and towels that were also helpful to have on hand. It was easy to get in touch with Amber when we had a question about the trash, and Amber was also very communicative about some work on the deck that happened during our stay and making sure it wasn't inconvenient for us.

Our family of six had a superb experience at this rental. The home is well-appointed, the kitchen well-stocked, and the details all in place. We appreciated Amber's notebook of recommendations and used it often. When we had a difficulty, Amber responded in minutes and tended to it with great communication and kindness. She was a delight to work with. As for Acadia, it is a place of ridiculous beauty. We had a great time hiking together and seeing the views from many mountaintops. What a fantastic week we had.

This place is easy to get to. The VRBO is clean and just the right size for 4 adults. It does share a driveway with some other houses.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. It was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve been in and it instantly felt like home. Everything on the island is within a short drive of the house, and we loved exploring during our stay, especially with the amazing fall colors.
It would have been nice to have seating for more than two at the bar as our family of four could not have dinner together, but we realize there isn’t much room in the small house for a proper dining table. (We would have loved using the outdoor table, but the weather was too wet during our stay.)
In addition, the mattresses, while not uncomfortable, were very noisy. And the master tub was tough to get into and out of, especially after running the marathon!
Overall, this was a great, clean, and quiet place to stay to experience MDI.

Excellent accommodations! Upon arrival, we experienced a little difficulty with the WI-FI code, but once the problem was resolved, our online connection was excellent! This cozy and comfortable property helped to make our visit to Mount Desert most enjoyable!

This property was centrally located to Acadia and Bar Harbor. House was clean, nice kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. The appliances in the kitchen were nicely updated.
The beds were a lot to be desired, not enough washcloths for the four of us. They did supply body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The on suite bathroom was nice but slippery. I did not like the oversized tub. Too hard to get in and out of, the other bathroom was fine. There was not enough water pressure for the showers. The furniture in the main room was very uncomfortable and desperately needs updated. There needs to be tables in this room with lamps, we had a hard time relaxing because of the furniture. The driveway need to be lit up a little, we missed it at least 3 times. Over all we give this house 6 out of 10, mostly because of the comfort of the beds and the furniture.

Great place for the $. Private, extremely clean. Updated kitchen and every comfort you can think of. Close to town and park. Older house with plenty of room and all amenities. Giant book of helpful hints and restaurants. Felt safe and super clean

All the comforts of home
We really enjoyed our stay! This home was fully equipped, more than any other rental we have stayed in! Spices, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags! The jacuzzi tub was wonderful!! Close enough to downtown but not close enough to have to deal with the crowds and noise! Quiet, set back on the road! Easy check out!
Highly recommend!!

Nice Central Location
We enjoyed our stay at this house. The location was good for seeing different parts of the park and Bar Harbor. It wasn't too far from any location. The house was a nice place to rest our heads at night. It was clean and had everything we needed to grab a quick breakfast in the morning and be off to hike for the day. We would return.

We had a great time. Liked the house. The property was not secluded as I thought, but it was tucked away. Would definitely vacation there again.

Maine Paradise
Our stay was wonderful, The owner had the property clean and organized when we got there. Everything was labeled and easy to find as well. The Jacuzzi tub was easily the best part of the stay, it was awesome to relax in after a full day of hiking. With it being our first time in Acadia all the information she has in the place was awesome to have! The best places for food, information about the park and trails as well as so much more was in a nice three ring binder for us to use! It even had a bucket list of things to do which we completed our stay! 10/10, would stay there again the next time we go to Acadia.
