Clean room and helpful receptionist on arrival. Price was good for London.
Supposed to be bed and breakfast but no staff around at breakfast time and no cooked option. Tea cups were not very nice.
Bathroom and shower was really small and cramped.
Quite noisy from early hours due to work site across the road.

Location
Size of room. Size of bathroom. Operation of shower. Shower rose was broken, couldn’t be supported. Operation of tv, and only about 7 channels out of 100’s

Good location
Don't count on the breakfast

Location
Not clean up properly, very small shower.
Breakfast - not enough food for everyone.

The staff were pleasant enough, although no one on desk for check out. One poor girl was on her own and the fire alarm went off and she was very good about going and checking the source before emptying us all out of the hotel.
The bathroom was like it had been stripped out of a caravan! A big step up into it and poor lighting and ceiling height. The bedding needs to be replaced, both duvets and pillows were mangled. The rooms really need deep cleaning and furniture moved out of the way for it to recieve anywhere near a good cleaning score. The mugs in the room were not clean either. Breakfast was a generic cheap continental, I would say just go out and get your own really! Not buggy friendly either, lots of steps, no lifts. No lamps in room either, so when we closed the curtain that was it, lights out! So much could be done with this establishment, but I feel it lacks the passion for it at the moment.

This hotel was very basic but it was clean and fit for purpose. The breakfast was cereal and toast and apple juice but was ok ...
It was quite far from st pancras station ...other than that it was ok

Location was nice, but it wasn't even cheap. I didn't really like anything at all.
Where to start? I was expecting a shabby hotel based on reviews and price, but the experience was beyond anything you may expect. The hotel has a UNESCO heritage sign in front of it, which makes you question the whole principle. Is just being old, ran down and disgusting enough to be classed and a heritage object or does there need to be value added. Crooked, collapsing stairs coveted with dusty, stinky, torn carpet leads you to your room. Inside, furniture is falling apart, literally. There is an old sash window with no insulation which feels like being constantly open. The amount of noise feels as if you outside. There are no bedside sockets, and the same scruffy carpet as outside. The gem is the bathroom. A note saying you need to run the shower for 5 minutes to get hot water. The shower itself is literally on top of the toilet. When closed, the curtain is sticking to the toilet, it shares the same floor. Same, when you use the toilet you are constantly touching the disgusting shower curtain. I mean, I didn't enter that facility for my entire stay, feeling sick looking at it.
The absolute hit was the "breakfast". Couple of £1 Warburton breads, the cheapest cheddar tray, accompanied with disposable butter and jam pods. You could make yourself a disgusting cheese toasted in a rusty toaster. Or alternatively use the 4 sticky cereal dispensers with a shop bought skimmed milk. Perhaps use that to have a instant coffee.
I mean, I would be absolutely ashamed of myself, offering anything close to that kind of accommodation.
I booked the stay despite terrible reviews, instead of a chain, cheap, box hotel style with no windows, and honestly, never again. I'd rather allow corporations to thrive, and terribly, greedy small businesses like this to die as they should.

Good location, nice staff
Rooms are very old, stains on the blanket.

The hotel was in a good location for the area we awanted to visit.
The room was small and a bit shabby. Could do with some TLC. Breakfast was continental style, cheese slices, small selection of cereals, toast and jam. Tea, coffee and fruit juice. Fresh fruit would have been nice. Breakfast room was small, considering it fed 2 hotels, and the opening times were limited
2.3
The location.
The original room smelt of stale smoke, the carpet was not clean. The heating was not on so room cold. Dust and other detritus gathered underneath the window behind bedside unit. The curtain was falling off the rail. I asked for room to be changed and was given identical room in the sister hotel next door that thankfully was cleaner and less impoverished. Never stay again.
2.3
I expected very basic considering the price comparted to budget chain hotels in the area which was 60% of those. Accordingly, it met my needs as somewhere to crash after a xmas party and needing an early start the next day.
The bed and bed covers could have been much better

comfortable & clean bed, shower & toilet ( the crucial 3 imho). Quite good location, 10 mins walk from Kings Cross / St Pancreas tube & mainline stations . Pleasant staff. . Had tv, hairdryer . Small Room but good use of space in squeezing a shower in to bathroom .
Room looked like had not been cleaned properly eg empty sachets of tea, sugar in tea/coffee bowl , no milk . kettle & mirrors needed a clean. Basement room , dusty & musty , though ok when opened a window .

Asked for a quiet room. Anything but. Arrived on Friday evening and departed on Sunday morning! Both nights people were running up and down whole night. On first morning we tried to have a sleep in, until
Someone knocked TWICE for garbage!!!! Checkout was at 11 and 10:30 already smb knocked at the door to (not sure if asking us to leave or to remind us about the checkout) - felt like a
Child not being able to know what to do…
Breakfast room too small. Did not have breakfast first day because it was too crowded: were told to come at 7:30 sharp as it is emptier. Sign on the wall: not more than 2 people in the room: result - by 7:50
There were already at least 8. Maybe breakfast
Time longer than 7:30-9?!?!
The dust in the room was about my age! The bathroom not bigger than a shower!

Good price for a central London Hotel
Room was run down and shower only had cold water

The location of this hotel was perfect. Close to the west end and was easy to travel to all the surrounding parts of London. The room was clean and had a relatively good nights sleep. The room had everything included that was stated. Easy check in and a lovely welcome at reception.
The bathroom was small but wasn’t so bad as we only stayed for two nights. When using the hairdryer it overheated quite quickly, someone with short hair could probably dry their hair completely, however if you have longer hair maybe bring your own.

The location is great
The place is in an awful condition. Very dirty, the room was full of people's hair and full of rubbish.
The stairs to access the room are very narrow and steep, not for everyone to use...
2.3
absolutely nothing
the carpet wasn’t clean nor was room properly cleaned.it smelled like an abandoned house.curtain torn and dirty
kettle was full of dust on lid, cups were up right catching dust.bedside table and chairs dirty and discoloration.didn’t even stay for breakfast because of state of property.bed worn out and mattress old making sleeping uncomfortable
shambles

There is no lift but the stairs are very steep and narrow. The room was tiny and the bed not long enough for a 1,90 m person. The mattress was bouncy and had a lot of very hard knobs - absolutely uncomfortable. the ensuite was tiny. It was a room under the roof and the hatch to the attic stood ajar and couldn't be closed.

Very friendly and helpful staff
