Excellent restaurant and bar. Very good service.
Bedroom ok but a little tired. Good air conditioning.

Excellent breakfast. The property is centrally situated on the bank of the river. The gardens are well maintained and the staff were friendly and efficient. No hesitation in recommending The Old Bridge.

Lovely building next to a river. Comfortable large single room with great bathroom. Amazing food in the restaurant. Friendly staff.
Difficult to find a parking space as wedding in the riverside gardens. A big queue checking in for the same reason. Understandable but be aware especially at the weekend. Breakfast was not included in the quite expensive room rate.

all good
we were asked if we’d like a paper in the morning. I requested The Times but didn’t receive one. We also only had one bath towel in the room

The food was great, so was the wine and i liked the decor throughout the hotel. The room was excellent and clean, and the bed was very comfy.

A free upgrade is always appreciated and the room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The air con was much appreciated. The wine I had with dinner was delicious.
The food is very overpriced, they're pitching themselves at a level of quality that doesn't deliver, the meat was over cooked and the service - whilst friendly was poor. The bar had over 30 dirty glasses on the ordering side whilst staff casually joked behind it and I was forgotten about several times just because I was a solo traveller. It also has an air of pretention - feels like they think they don't have to try so hard because of a decent reputation.

A period property set in lovely gardens and very accessible. Fabulous hotel, plenty of options for eating outside in the garden area or covered veranda or in the formal dining room. Diner was good quality.
Not cheap ! but of excellent quality. Staff were very welcoming and courteous and professional . Bedroom was very well appointed with quality products and a comfotable sumptuous bed.
Bath towels and hand towels were large, soft and of very good quality.
Breakfast was very good.
Fairly expensive, but of excellent quality. If you have the budget then this hotel will not dissapoint you.
I highly recommend.

Lovely well situated hotel exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great food
A bit of a meander to get to the bedroom as my husband has disability issues and we have a dog so had to go different routes to the bedroom. Having said that, the staff were very helpful in showing and assisting my husband to our room

Breakfast was good, served at the table fresh made.

Lovely hotel. I have bot been back since I left employment there in 1979. The years in between have been kind. The changes and development of the restaurant areas are lovely. The room I had was comfortable, clean, well equipped and the bed was fantastic. The bathroom in room 7 is probably the closest I will get to a religious experience with an enormous bath. The food was outstanding - loved the fact that the beans and hash browns at breakfast are home made and the staff were universally friendly, professional and really helpful. Nothing too much bother and everything done with a smile. If it were closer to Peterborough I would check out of my weekly hotel and check in. Wonderful place.
Nothing.

Everything, as this is a proper hotel, offering courteous and civilised hospitality, excellent food and comfortable rooms. It still has what many places lack, effortless style and timeless quality.
Nothing.
