Just a quick stop over for work, bit of live music at night was nice to help unwind after a long day. Would have loved to have spent more time using the facilities etc maybe next time.
Would have liked the pool to be opened earlier for a morning swim as I had to leave sharp for a morning flight home.

Breakfast really lovely and plenty to choose from and staff very helpful
Was a little cold at night when watching entertainment

Great staff especially Cathy, Ivan and Linda. The hotel is big enough to feel like a hotel stay with spa facilities but small enough to keep things personal. Food was great with multiple options. Best hotel pillows!
Mixed changing rooms in the spa and open showers

Place was clean, enough parking from what I saw. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Loads of hot water in the bedroom. I used the jacuzzi, pool and steam room when I was there which was very pleasant.
Rooms have good space and not too cluttered. Pleased to see local products being used.
Plenty to eat on the breakfast menu, if you left hungry it's your own fault!
I had a very simple dinner the night I arrived, but the plates of food that were being turned out looked amazing.
The plugs in my bedroom weren't near the bed, this wasn't something I disliked, just nowhere else to write it, (I did have to get out of bed to turn the alarm off on my phone the next morning which was a good thing).
The eggs came out "drying" on slices of bread, I'm GF and didn't see this until I had my eggs eaten, luckily I wasn't too bad from any cross contamination.

Communal areas were lovely for sitting relaxing.. Food was delicious and the steak night excellent value for money.
Bedroom was clean though mattresses were springy perhaps a thicker topper is needed. The tea tray could be improved, only 1 spoon & plain biscuits.
We used the spa & thankfully were close to our room as there really wasn't much space for changing not enough lockers so belongings were left in the open for anyone to see. Had to ask for towels

Clean room, nicely decorated and a spacious bathroom.
The food was not right, spent £50 on a dinner that was overcooked crunchy, the chicken fillet was smelly and sour so couldn’t eat it, but waiter insisted they got fresh chicken every morning. I never point out when the food is not to my liking but this time I had to, and didn’t even get a discount or a replacement. They just shrugged their shoulders and left it at that. The overall dining experience was as if we were eating in a pub somewhere down the country, with whatever leftovers they had from yesterday. That kind of greasy crunchy bits of food for farmers after a long day at work.
In the morning, waiter asked whether we’d like tea or coffee, I mentioned coffee with oat milk and got a little jug out of the fridge to my table. As soon as I tilted it, bits of sour milk floated into my coffee, which meant that milk was poured into the jug weeks ago. Like how does oat milk even go off? I called the waiter back and just showed him the state of the inside of the jug and my coffee, now filled with a hundreds of flakes of the milk gone off. Again, not a great impression, at least they didn’t say they get their milk freshly poured every morning.
The spa experience was also a so-so. We were offered 7pm and 8pm time slots and went for the latter. On arrival to the spa area, we noticed there were no available lockers even though there were only 4 additional people in the pool, and two of them had their clothes on the chaise longue beside the pool (we did the same). We weren’t informed about the time we were allowed to stat and presumed it was an hour, but around 20:40 the staff member started mopping the floors right beside where we were chatting away in the pool, and then said we had to leave as she’s closing down. Which is ok, although a bit unexpected. As we grabbed our belongings off the chaise longue and went into the changing room, two or three minutes into it, she started screaming from behind the door to hurry up.

Very cute hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was good.
The pool was a little bit busy for it's size. We were there with 2 other families with small children so it was chaotic and difficult to get away from the noise and splashing.

Good breakfasts.
After one flush, toilet cistern took 2-3 hours to refill (in my bedroom no.24). Sanatising liquid dispenser outside ground floor ladies/gents toilets was empty when I arrived on Sunday and still empty when I left on Tues.morn. even though I'd mentioned it to reception ... TWICE !
