Wake up ruined trip

Great brand but slightly underwhelming in quality and delivery

Location friendly staff. Gym and pool

Room a bit ‘tired’ with thin mattress! Toiletries not special.Strong chlorine smell in pool and poor imagination and quality of food. Few wines by the glass and no half bottles.

pleasant - but sort your EV chargers out

Great gym, spacious room, healthy breakfast and nice people

EV chargers not working and required some stupid app in any case. what’s wrong with simple plug and pay??

Ruined are 7 year anniversary

We booked a double room, this was not fulfilled upon bringing this to the attention of the reception staff as well as a very strong smell in the room a member of house keeping then came and pushed the 2 beds together then zipped the mattresses together aswell upon trying to sleep on this so called bed later that evening it was really uncomfortable and caused physical discomfort to myself and partner and we did not sleep all night and suffered for days after We checked out the following morning and again mentioned that I had booked a double room and now needed to complain that we didn't even have a proper bed and mattress to sleep on and the smell wasnt delt with once again this was dismissed and not acknowledged at all and as it took so long to get things sorted we didn't get chance to eat on the evening or have much time in the spa

Was a great place to get your head sorted out

The staff were amazing and there was a staff member called Mike who worked the night shift who was just amazing he was not only committed to do his job but showed he’s invested in the customers and made me feel so comfortable and I really appreciate it.

Lovely hotel and spa facilities, excellent staff and rooms.

Lovely hotel with great pool and spa. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfy and spacious. Loved the breakfast selection.

Thought the evening meal was nice, but too expensive for very small portions and selection was limited.

The restaurant food was a bit dated. Duck was tough and overall the hotel could be brought up to times a bit.

A four day stay near Alrewas

Additional bedding in room. Bathroom and shower good

The room and kitchen were full of crumbs. The dining chairs had melted chocolate on them. No towel change in 4 days.

Disappointing

The breakfast offered lots of choice

The pool and sauna were dirty staff in pool area disinterested on phone and unwelcoming , lack of information throughout. Poor welcome. No water ircteabags in room bathroom very basic. Evening meal and service very poor. Staff not focused on customers. Queue s of people waiting to be seated while staff pay little attention waiting for breakfast. Staff poorly trained. Just not the relaxing stay I had hoped for.

Great layout spa facilities are really nice and really had a good time

only thing would be explain how the shower works how to switch it on and would have saved me a call to concierge it was a little stiff but was able to get it working

Great overnight stay if you enjoy spa facilities.

Large clean room. Excellent spa facilities. Good healthy breakfast.

Treatments were very expensive. 10 am check out was rigid and if you overstay a further charge of £55 is added. The spa is missing some business here as I would have booked a treatment before I left but was not prepared to pay for a whole day stay in order to do so. There was no shower in the pool area, so unless you walked back to the changing room, you could not shower after using the sauna and going into the pool. Made me imagine lots of sweat in the jet and swimming pool, nice!

Lack of trained staff and low spec rooms caused disappointment

The spa facilities were OK.

Where do I start? It took 25 minutes to check-in as no staff were at the front desk, many people were complaining. No menu provided in the rooms. Poor acoustics in the rooms. Dated rooms with dated technology. Small portions of food considering the price, even a full three course meal left me hungry! Overworked staff who admitted that they’re understaffed. Clearly the management team need to make some serious changes here…
