Water pressure was great! Location was great!
staff were cool. parking at the hotel was a plus!
Room/hotel needs more lighting. rooms were outdated. Was not cleaned properly thoroughly.
breakfast was alright.

The staff was super attentive. Although the hotel is located on a busy street, it was very quiet. The gym was nicely equipped. My family reported that breakfast was not heavy. They liked that!
The beds were not super comfy, but they were a lot better than other places I have stayed.

5 min walk from the Zocalo. Very large rooms.
Breakfast was included, but only for the sake of claiming something for free. We chose to eat elsewhere as food was everything but eatable. Staff, what staff ? Reception's only help was charging. no words beyond that. A bid run down, and no lounge area. It is rooms to street what you do.

I must like this place because this is our second time we stayed there. I liked that they had secure parking for our motorcycles underground. There is a relaxing covered courtyard in the middle with a nice water feature. The breakfast was included in the restaurant and was really good. The room was ok but I don't think any of the rooms have exterior windows but do have windows into the central courtyard. The bar and restaurant was closed in the evenings but that didn't really matter as there are dozens of restaurants within a short distance. The location is perfect. Located right on one of the main streets it's an easy walk to explore the city which is why we stayed there. The front desk helped us arrange a mine tour that we really enjoyed. Yes, I would stay there again. Highly recommended.
There was a thermostat in our room but the heat didn't seem to work and only blew out cold air. It wasn't really that cold so we just used an extra blanket and were fine.

breakfast was good, staff did a good job of moving to another dining room because the hotel was full.
my group rented 2 rooms for 1 night, the desk clerk charged both rooms to my friends credit card and i worked it out with them, no problem. the next day i see they charged MY credit card, on file with booking.com, for 3 rooms. i called immediately and told them to reverse the charge, they told me they couldnt do that and to dispute it with the credit card company. this is not a good practice. ive stayed at this hotel many times over the last 15 years and its never happened before. be careful.

I love the location of this hotel. It’s accessible to everything. I love that you can just walk to many restaurants and bars downtown.
I’m not very picky. As long as room is clean, service is friendly, price is right, and it’s a great location…that checks off everything for me. This is an older building so if you’re looking for new and modern then this isn’t the place for you. However Mesón de la Merced provides that old historical Zacatecas charm.

Breakfast was good and the servers were great.
In the room I wish I had an option to add a mini fridge for the stuff I buy on the street like drinks and fruits to keep cold. In the restroom shower there need to be a nonslip padding. I almost slipped the first night I took a shower. Other then that it’s was great room.

Friendly personel and responsive to the needs.
Satisfied, good

wifi was terrible, they need to upgrade the system.

Absolutely nothing. All good

Location is very near from downtown, you can find several restaurants and stores along the way to the Cathedral, very near from any tour service. The room was very clean and nice. I surely will stay again in this place.

the best thing is the breakfast you have in the morning and the service waiters provide.
in the evening shower was fresh without hot water I tend to use before sleeping.
the room was the next-door office and it gave some noises.
