My work had scheduled me to stay here for a week, but the room booked had no kitchen facilities. Credit goes to the owners for providing me with an air fryer and an extra table and dishwashing bowl for washing up - the room had a fridge in any case, so I managed fine as a result. Nice owners ad great location for the Basin area.

Close to town, very roomy apartment.
Road noise, but we're not used to road noise where we live.

Michael was an amazing host. Conscientious. Friendly. The bed was great, the room was well cleaned, everything you'd expect from a room on a budget. I'll go back again, because the hosts were amazing, and everything was just so. I couldn't say anything negative.

The hosts were great, very helpful. The room felt more like being in a friend’s home than a soulless hotel, restful and comfy. And there’s an espresso machine in the kitchen! :) Location was looking over the riverside hills, an easy stroll to the marina and town, and easily accesible by car with ample parking.

This place was beautiful, very modern and great facilities. 👍 Excellent for a girls trip away as we still had our own space.

Location great. Did not go breakfast. People who ran it were very friendly and accomodating and I would recommend the place to others.😊
All good.

Nice quiet place, considering it was on a busy road close to town. Michael the owner built the place only 15 years ago, but with a few touches of old photos and wood gave the place an old homely feel

Thanks for the accom at short notice. A great room down stairs with some lovely timber work detailing and the dinning table and chairs are gorgeous. Someone has a great eye for classic furniture. I would happily stay again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and ok. The off-street parking was good. The accommodation was close to the town centre without being too close (1km). If you're staying here longer, the kitchen may be a great feature.
The main thing I just didn't get on with the bed. It was hard, not very comfortable and the pillows and duvet felt a bit old fashioned and plasticky. I didn't sleep well. Coming back at night I almost went head-over-heels over a step at front of the property/veranda - a little paint or light could help.

Had booked two units. Rooms were clean and roomy. Offsite parking was spacious. Use of upstairs shared kitchen and lounge was wonderful. Owners were very helpful and friendly.
Hope to stay there again.
One of the units had a heat pump and was generally warm even without using the heat pump, the other unit had no heating and was generally colder. Some heating unit would be a bonus.
