Truly an Amazing Big Island Property
This property was very clean, well equipped and came with an incredible ocean view. We truly enjoyed the pool and outdoor living spaces. Check in/out process was contactless and easy. We stayed for a whole month and a few issues came up during the stay and we always received quick responses back from the property team to assist us in resolving things. We would stay here again for sure!

Wonderful retreat
This house in the hillside above Kona airport is wonderful. Massive house w 3 bedroom suites, large kitchen with many amenities and extras like wine fridge, coffee grinder and many tools for cooking. The lanai and pool area is perfect for watching the sunset and the coffee trees, landscaping and wildlife add to retreat of the house at the top of the hillside street. Beds were great, plenty of towels and pool toys. Pool was more decorative than functional as non-heated so got very cool in evenings, but spa worked well for us. Only complaint is the couch in living room and lanai furniture seating is below the level of luxury of the rest of the home. Property managers were very responsive and all needs were met.

A great house!
The photos don’t do this house justice - it was a gorgeous house with a perfect location. We loved the pool/hot tub and that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We hope to stay here again!

Awesome Property!
We had an amazing stay fir 10 days in March. It was my family of four (two teenagers) and my parents who had just turned 70. Was absolutely perfect for our family. We had a few wuestions when we arrived and the property manager responded immediately. The house is large and all of the rooms are spacious. The master bathroom is incredible. The property is gorgeous and the outdoor area with the covers lanai, pool and hot tub were spectacular. We did not have any issues with the hot tub mentioned by some previous people. It heated fast and was perfect. We’ve already recommended this property to two other friends planning trips to the Big Island.

Top Notch Vacation Destination
Location was very good, nice privacy, excellent views, well maintained house. Only drawback was early morning roosters in area that will wake you up if you are a light sleeper. Pool and Hot tub were very nice. Waterfall feature shown on website was not available. Kitchen was great. Two Master bedroom were awesome with Fabulous showers.

Loved everything!! It was perfectly perfect!!
Thank you for sharing your home, we had a great family couple of days.. I’m sure the house keepers didn’t have much to do except for bed sheets? I like things clean and like to leave them that way.. we took all our trash to the dump and I was sure to clean out the fridge...

The property manager, Nick, is amazing. He is professional and reliable, a great communicator and gave us a seamless booking experience. The view and convenient neighborhood was perfect. The beds and home is wonderful. Elite is among the best, the only reason we did not give this review 5 stars is because of some maintenance issues of the house (broken garbage disposal, broken lanai fans, broken hot tub, old TVs/ technology, fluorescent lights, broken shades, broken blender, many bugs in window sills, and many bees/ slugs/ mosquito visitors. Some simple upgrades will make the house a first class property. We still enjoyed our stay and understand the big issue may be the norm in the area.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home with a magnificent pool and perfect view of the ocean and extraordinary sunsets. We loved the spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and the layout indoors and outdoors flowed well. The covered lanai was great for enjoying the tropical setting even if a rain shower blew over. The lush garden was a delight to walk through and perfectly set off the idyllic ocean view and enticing pool and spa. I hope to make this a regular vacation destination!

It was a beautiful house & view. The overall house was very clean. Went to change the sheets & the mattress cover was on the opposite side it should be so turned it over & it was stained with urine so I washed it & it came out. We did't sleep on that bed anymore. The mattress on both beds was filthy. Couldn't use the garage among other things was locked up even in the kitchen! No air conditioning suppose to open up all the windows it was still hot& who wants to close all the windows when you come & go. They brought us this noisy portable air conditioner. One good thing was it was close to the Harbor where we fished. The house was really nice otherwise.

We settled upon two properties which we thought would best suit our party. The first of these was Piko Nani, which we rented. The home was even better than the descriptions and pictures we had seen, It is an elegant home in every sense of the word, accommodations, location, seclusion. The only draw to the property was that the spa/pool were not in operation due to a plumbing failure. The management company alerted us to this situation, and offered us several means of restitution all of which were generous. I would stay at Piko Nani again without hesitation and found the management company to be profession and responsive in every situation.

Reviewer Comments:
Beautiful property. Beautiful grounds, lawn and the construction is top end. Location on the hillside is perfect, with beautiful panoramic views of the ocean. Perfectly quiet at nite. BUT, here is the big downside that unfortunately overshadows the many positives: We booked the property in large part because of the pool and spa for our two small children. The pool is not heated and unusable. We could live with that except the spa is ice cold too, and the heat can only be turned on due to a timer restriction from 7 pm to 10 pm. It takes an hour to warm up, which means the spa is only usable after 8 pm. Well AFTER the sunset and after our kids are already getting ready for bed. This was not explained to me until after I had booked and paid for the property, which was a real bummer. When I called to have the timer restriction removed so I could use, I was told it was "expensive to heat the spa" to which I responded it is "expensive to rent the house." If you want a pool and spa, this is not your house. Also, less important, the interior furnishings are by Costco, and are a big contrast (cheap) compared to the beautiful construction.

One of the BEST properly I've stayed at. Love watching the sunrise and set on everyday. Huge yard for the kids to drain their energy and lots of fruits to enjoy. The master bedroom was amazing. Walk in shower and tub to relax at the end of the day. Couldn't ask for more. Everything you need for a getaway. Would definitely come back.

I rented this home for 4 adults and the property worked out very well for us. The house is very spacious and comfortable for families. This home has wonderful trees and flowers all around the property. Every morning the birds and goat come out and it's a great place to take pictures. Every morning we sat beside the swimming pool and ate breakfast overlooking the beautiful grounds.

I would say in general the place was fantastic. Very clean and very nice, great for my family of 5. Wonderful views, great amenities. House was spotless, 3 big screens, which my kids appreciated, bathrooms are very luxurious, even had robes which my 2 daughters enjoyed. Lots of birds and fruit trees, we even had 2 wild goats that visited the property every morning which was fun for the kids. My only criticism is the pool and spa. They were wonderful but we could barely use them because of the heating policy. I understand trying to save money on heating but this is a high-end rental and the pool is a big part of the draw, I have rented a number of other properties in Hawaii, all high end like this one, and never ran across a pool and spa which were not at least in the high 70s. Even a very minor change that would have helped, at no cost the owner, would be to allow the spa to be heated for any 3 hour period (Not just restrict it to 6-9) we could never use the spa because we went out to dinner at 6. Another option would be to offer pool heating for an additional cost (10-20$/night?). We absolutely loved the place, but would not rent again unless the spa/pool heating situation changed. I know other reviewers have made the same comment about the property. If the pool is no big deal to you or you enjoy exilerating swims (69-71) (I like them, but my wife and kids don't feel the same.) This is an absolutely fantastic rental.

The property and home was very nice. Great view, private, quiet, you hardly knew anyone else was around. We had issues with the hot tub not working. When we reserved the agent stated "jets only work from 6-9", not the heater only works from 6-9. 4 out of the 7 days the hot tub never worked, only to find out the gas was not turned on, when it did heat up you had about 1 hour of use before heater shut off, the jets never worked. Management staff was not very helpful, and rather rude when we would call for update on repair status of hot tub. Outdoor pool was extremely cold, basically unusable, might be due to the time of year we were there. The house was very clean, yard was very nice. Overall, it was a great vacation, it would have been nice to use hot tub in evening, but the home, view, privacy made up for any problems. Thanks, Elisa

Piko Nani was a very beautiful and comfortable home. We stayed in late February. Perfect elevation for warm but not hot temperatures. No air conditioning needed a breeze perfectly came through the windows. The house was very clean and felt well cared for and like a home environment. Loved the view! A few things worth mentioning especially to the inexperienced mainland traveler. This elevation doesn't get much sunlight. Just an hour or so in the morning and scattered t/o day. Also the pool is not heated and didn't get above 70 degrees which is colder than what Olympians swim in to elevate their heart rates. It was a major bummer to not be able to swim. Also the hot tub is on a timer and is only on from 6pm-9pm. Takes an hour and a half to heat up and you have to be present to manually turn the knob to start it or it won't go on even with the timer. Dinner plans outside the home usually made it impossible to use the hot tub as we weren't there to turn the knob so it never got heated. We do understand price of electricity in Hawaii is outrageous and that effects these Issues. Also if you're allergic to bees be careful they enjoy the plants surrounding the home and use the lanai as a breeding ground and place to come and die for some reason. They were everywhere. The garage is off limits so don't plan on parking in there. Also kinda a bummer. Overall a beautiful property more suited for the summer months and friendly staff just a few details that wished we wouldve known sooner. Would recommend for summer months.

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Piko Nani. The house is so new & immaculate. It feels like your in a tropical paradise with the coffee, papaya, lemons & tangerines everywhere, yet it's 10 minutes from town, very private. We really enjoyed the pool & heated hot tub! The weather in this area is perfect, as is the view. Very spacious home, great kitchen & bathrooms. Great outdoor areas. The beds are new & very comfortable. However this home is for the sure-footed, as the tile can be very slippery when wet. If you like luxury & privacy this is the place for you!
