Large clean room with excellent shower. Staff all very courteous, friendly and helpful. Though limited menu food in the evening was good and breakfast the next morning was excellent.
The outside of the building needs a little tlc as looks a little shabby on arrival. However we would go back as good points make up for this.

Beds were fresh and comfortable and breakfast was very good.
The rooms are in need of a fresh coat of paint and the en-suite needs modernisation. Very basic room but the location and out door space were very nice

It was close the the wedding venue
The door to my room was not fitted properly and a crack in the window. When this was reported I was told it’s an old building

the accommodation is as described - it is a little dated to be fair but clean and tidy

Its old its tatty.its cold.when i booked a double ensuite. bathrooms down the corridor its extremly cold no heating! Didnt use bath/shower. Corridors very cold. Then at 8pm i had a rock band practising very loudly underneath me for 2 hours!
I stay in a hotel for comfort.relaxation you wont find it here AVOID stairs very wonky
Heating. Better lit corridors
A bit of paint in entrance areas would impro ve things a lot
Get a new heater for the bathroom

It was easy walking distance from the wedding venue. Lots of character. Warm welcome, room was large with nice bathroom. Room was warm and comfortable. Paid extra for breakfast, it was great value for money freshly cooked and set us up for the day.

Comfy beds and helpful friendly staff. Perfect location for a wedding at Crowcombe Court as it was a 5 minute walk (in heels). Staff were very helpful and accommodating including warming the baby food up. Rooms have nice amenities and choice of hot drinks. Bottled water was also a great touch and appreciated after a night of dancing!
I don't think this can be changed due to the character of the property but the dips/uneven stairs weren't ideal. Would also be nice to have a mirror in the room but no big deal as one is in the bathroom.

Fab pub, perfectly located for guests for weddings at Crowcombe Court. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was lovely and the bed extremely clean and comfortable. Perfect for an overnight stay.
The only fault with my room was the distance from the plug socket to the mirror and a very noisy saniflow/ macerator toilet.

Lovely welcoming pub. Great breakfast. Close to the venue at Crowcombe. Good value. Would stay again.
Only one thing our bathroom was just down the hall not what I would call en-suite.

Useful location for wedding at Crowcombe Court.
Whenever a tap or the toilet was used in the building a loud pump would turn on which woke me up 7/8 times throughout the night. The venue have ignored my messages since.

Garden is beautiful, 400year old building complete with lots of character and quirks. 5 min walk to Crowcombe Court wedding venue so perfect if you’re attending a wedding there and need nearby accommodation.
Rooms in massive need of updating. Although it was clean it was very shabby, wallpaper hanging down in en-suite bathroom in room 4, separate bathroom for room 6 - the bath had a large crack in the side. Breakfast anaemic, needed to see the grill for a bit of colour!

Everything was fantastic, and very friendly
All good

The building had ample character staff where friendly and welcoming, two seconds away from where my friends where getting married.
Breakfast was good and the room was clean and tidy. Location is also good for walks around the area and a drink on the evening.
Bits of wear and tear but understandable with the age of the building, I think it adds character and charm

Ample breakfast. Peaceful location. Handy for Halsway Manor.

I couldn't find the reception to check in and was wandering around the outside of the pub for ages until my husband came and found me to say that it was in the restaurant.
Considering the age of the property most of the facilities were just about passable. The stairs and the floor are very uneven... it's just like walking along a crazy house in the funfair!
The food was very good in the restaurant and the atmosphere in the pub was great but they had a lock in that night and there was loud music and voices until about 2am. We were told that that would not happen again as there is now a new landlord who wasn't present that night.
We had a short walk down the corridor to our bathroom which was unheated and needed updating.
Finding the entrance.

A really lovely place to stay with great food and a superb breakfast. The room was a little cold but that was to be expected considering the frost on the ground. Staff were friendly and welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Carew is also located in a beautiful location.
My room didn't have a hairdryer so I had to borrow one from a friend's room instead. The room was a little cold as it was single glazing but the staff had put a heater in the room so I was comfortable.

Everything you would want a village inn to be - cosy, characterful and comfortable, vibrant and very welcoming.
All good.

location was great, as we stayed the night before our wedding eve was at Crowcombe Court. the beds were very comfy, room was clean.
the service was incredibly slow. we pre-ordered dinner and it still took over an hour for our mains to come out. We had the same issue in the morning. We explained we had to be at Crowcombe for 9, this was at 8.30, and prewarned the night before. breakfast arrived at 9.15. If you’re not in a hurry, it’s great.

old quirky property, don’t go here if your looking for 5 stars. it’s basic but it’s nice and staff are very accommodating.
staff member swearing and cursing other people while we were eating breakfast. wasn’t very relaxing.

A charming old country inn, with a wealth of character and history. The staff were warm and friendly and the food good old-fasioned pub grub
Well, okay, some of the facilities didn't work and the rooms are a long way from luxurious, but the beds were comfortable and the water hot. What more do you need?
