Außergewöhnlich und gerne wieder

Wir sind sehr nett von unseren Gastgebern empfangen worden. Die Zimmer, die Bäder und die Gemeinschaftsküche sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben viel über das Farmleben auf einer Schafffarm erfahren und konnten bei der Geburt eines Lammes dabei sein. Ein für uns unvergessliches Erlebnis. Danke dafür. Der Black Beach ist zu Fuß in 10 min zu erreichbar.

It was cozy, warm, and felt just like home. Perhaps it was my best night in Iceland.

The host excels in providing exceptional care and hospitality. The small sheep tour is delightful, with adorable dogs, a charming cat, and incredibly cute rabbits!

Absolutely amazing stay!

We absolutely loved this stay! The owner is lovely and full of information, she gave us a little map of area and recommended a few attractions. We could even go to the sheep house in the evening and see all their sheep and lambs, and feed the horses. I would definitely stay here again. One of my favourite accommodations. The location is also perfect if you travel around Iceland. The view from our room was lovely, we could see the nearby church. All very nice and clean.

Perfetto, consigliatissimo

La camera matrimoniale è bellissima e affaccia sul panorama. Il bagno condiviso è molto carino e pulito, anche la cucina ben attrezzata e carina. L’host molto ospitale ci ha portato la mattina a vedere le sue pecore e animali, insieme ai suoi 3 adorabili cani.

Wonderful place with wonderful hosts!

The location was awesome, but meeting the hosts was even more special! They were a wealth of information, about the area and about Iceland in general. Ragga told me were to go for a horseback ride. I used her advice and got a wonderful private ride for the price of a group ride! (My guide said that she gave me her favorite horse. He enjoyed cantering and could tolt - he was exactly what I asked for.) Ragga also let me take photos of her own horses. The dogs and the bunny were a fun addition to the farm. I did not have time to use the kitchen, but it had everything that one could need in it.

We enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse! Owner was very helpful and friendly. She gave a lot of really good ideas of things to see around Vik. The room that we stayed in was large, comfortable, and completely redone; it was very nice. Enjoyed meeting the three friendly dogs and two fluffy bunnies! Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect break

The hosts are really nice, the room is very spacious and modern. We really appreciated the washbasin in the room. The bedding is very comfortable, we rested well. The rooms are very pretty. The hosts are really very nice I thought we were staying for two nights, but we weren't. We left our things in the room and came back in the evening. We left our things in the room and came back in the evening as if nothing had happened, with their kindness the hosts didn't reproach us and they were very understanding. Great stay, amazing location, everything you need is available.

Amazing host, comfy beds, 10 min drive from Vik, friendly dog, cat and a baby sheep on the property.

WiFi wasn't too fast - my husband had to work remotely and couldn't get on a call.

Surprisingly pretty place in Vik

- Very nicely converted area of an old home. - The room was clean and beautiful - Nice clean cooking facilities. - Friendly reception by host and pets

- a bit more space to put our own things in the room would have been nice. Maybe some hooks on the wall or so. - the covers on the bed were very warm and the window could only be opened a very small bit.

Nice location, many animals

Nice comfy room with our own sink. There were many animals around the guesthouse. Cute dogs and cats. The time we were there they were some sheep born and the owner was nice enough to show us the newborns and tell us a bit about them.

Highly recommended, beautiful apartment!

The owners of this apartment were VERY friendly and attentive. We had multiple nice chats and they even gave us a private tour around their property. This included a free tour of the the sheep shed (inclduing feeding of sheep, horses, ...) while we could ask questions etc. They also provided sightseeing tips for the area including a map. Overall, I highly recommend a stay at this location! Thank you for the hospitality!

Not really a negative point, but guests should be aware that you might have to share the shower (there are multiple) and the kitchen with other guests. However, there are private wash basins for brushing teeth and getting ready in the morning on the rooms.

This place is comfortable, convenient, unique and one of my favorite places I’ve stayed while traveling the world.

We loved everything about this place. The hosts are so friendly and they have really sweet animals. This is a very special place. We also saw the Aurora right out our window. It is a quick drive to several destinations. If you’re a tourist, go be boring and stay at a hotel. If you’re a traveler, stay here.

I don’t believe in perfection, but this place is close to it!

Great place to stay for a couple or a small group of friends! I loved the room and the shared spaces, very comfortable, cozy and clean. The farm with sheep, dogs and horses is a nice plus too. Ragga is also very friendly and helpful providing tips about the nearby area. I really recommend it! I hope to come back one day.

Good choice, right to The Black Beach Reynisfjara

Ragga and Einar were great hosts. Our 6 years old daughter was more than happy to meet dogs, sheeps, horses, cats and rabbits. Thank you Ragga and Einar for letting us in. Location is perfect. We had short and lovely walk to Reynisfjara beach. We stayed 2 nights and almost lost our flight. We were so good there that we didn't check out on time and went for another trip.. on the road we realised we should be on our way to the airport. Ragga was so good with it. When we realised we made a mistake she gave us extra time to pack our staff and support us giving true care. Kitchen is well organised. We cooked for ourselves every day during our stay. Ask Ragga about Katla shop in Vik. History is quite interesting. Once more, thank you for having us!

Most valuable stay of my road trip

The location is perfect, you are standing right before the beach and you can surely have good photos just in front of the house! Crazy good of the host and her 3 happy dogs, thanks for the private tour to her own cottage! The beds are the most comfort bed of my whole trip (even better than those stars hotel).

Wonderful Farm Stay near Reynisfjara

Guest house is in an awesome location (only about a two minute drive from Reynisfjara), the hosts are AWESOME, beds were comfy, house was clean, dogs are great, cat is cute. This is a working farm and Regga (host) was so kind to take us to see the sheep (and other critters) in the evening, and talked with us for some time, which was appreciated. I definitely recommend staying here!
