Great location. Easy to reach sights and restaurants, by foot or public transportation. Room was good size and clean. Staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us secure bus tickets to our next location. Don’t hesitate to ask for help or recommendations. Good value.
Beds were a little firm for my preference but as an American, I’m not used to firm Korean beds. Despite that, I slept fine because I walked a lot. Hotel was down an alley to find, which seemed off but neighborhood seemed fine and the height of hotel made it easy to spot.
4.2
Great breakfast and staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
4.2
Location to nearby sites, shopping and public transit is excellent. Hotel is a little hard to find initially as it is behind another hotel.
4.2
The location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was ok stay, the property is well located, walking distance to many touristic places, restaurants and convenience stores. Also close to the underground and has many bus stops close by. I had a big room, comfy bed. Not a new property so few things are bit run dow, bathroom and room needed better cleaning and bedsheets were stained, managed to come across the cleaning attendant while checking in and they kindly changed them for me on the spot, which I appreciated.

It is in a good location. There are many restaurants around and it's in a good area to explore Seoul.
Dirty. When we arrived we found hairs everywhere in our room and even stains of pee on the toilet seat. There were also plastic bottles thrown in the hallway immediately outside our room. We asked the staff to clean up again or even change our room, and they cleaned again, but in a hurry and they even acted annoyed for this. The guy at the reception sort of apologized, but anyway our holiday started the wrong way. The room is much older/outdated than how it appears on booking: there are stains everywhere, dust, abundant signs of tear, etc. Recommend going to other hotels in the area.

Clean
Staff speaks very little English

The staff was friendly, It was clean and closed to many popular attractions, like 10 minute walk to changdeokgung Palace. Subway was like 2 - 3 minutes walk. There are many restaurants nearby.
It was pretty good for the price.
It took me some time to figure out the location of the hotel, since there are other hotels close to it (big buildings and alleys) and it was dark when I arrived . (I found it using googlemaps.)
4.2
good location; big room.
too high tech but at the same time, not even a decent closet for hanging up clothes and jacket. big room but completely empty with old cheap furniture.
4.2
the room is very comfortable; room size, bed, bathroom, room temperature
takes about 10 mins walk to subway station, or 20 mins with luggages. the pavement is hard to walk with luggage. the area is quiet during night time
4.2
The room was really spacious and very clean. All the necessary amenities provided as well as a kettle, tea and fridge. Quite close to the metro station which made it easy to navigate around the city.
The hotel is VERY strict with their 2pm check in time which was suprising because it's quite a big hotel. The reception staff could have been more accommodating and nice as I was rudely told to come back at 2pm. The staff on the check-in day (which was one young man) was not able to communicate in English at all which further extended the frustration.
The overall location was okay but the hotel itself was in between little streets which were very confusing and didn't feel safe at night.

Overall we are satisfied our stay in the Hotel Nafore, the location is great, easy access to train station and bus stop, would recommend to take bus if travel to GoToMall, Namdaemun, Seoul Station etc. Nearby the hotels there is a lot of restaurants and convenient shop CU just 1 minute away from the hotel.
tips: if you drive or arrange transport to hotel, you may use Hotel Venue G as reference, the main entrance of Hotel Nafore is via Hotel Venue G, so will be more easy to locate the hotel main entrance.
If could provide breakfast and having our meals at the hotel lobby will be great, we was told by the reception staff try don’t eat at the hotel lobby.
4.2
The usual complimentary water, tea, coffee, toiletries ...
Rooftop garden was nice.
One of the receptionists was grouchy. Such a trait should not be found in the hotel/hospitality industry. The other receptionist, although nice when we dealt with him during check in, does not even bother to greet guests good morning or Merry Christmas. It gives a feel that the hotel is not welcoming.
The bed was situated beside the window, where wind from outside was seeping in. We had to invert our sleeping positions (sleep with our feet towards the wall instead) because the wind was giving us colds.
4.2
Price was reasonable
No shower curtain in the bathroom. Water will splashed to the floor while showering.
4.2
Love this hotel. Great location, room, bed, shower, staff.
4.2
The room is good size and it is clean and they do housekeeping daily.
The lack of shower curtain results in water splashing onto the floor during shower.
4.2
The room was spacious and even though we were on the 2nd floor, it wasn't noisy. Everything worked well - the hot water and the water pressure, the charging points, TV etc. The hotel staff were helpful with whatever queries that we asked, which included asking for a shower curtain. The location was super convenient - close to 2 stations/3 different lines and centrally located. Places like Ikseondong, Gwangjang Market, Myeongdong were all just a walk away. Overall, good value for its location, space and comfort and I would consider staying here again on my next visit.
The bed and pillows were a little soft but we still slept well on them anyway. The hotel felt a little understaffed and front desk was unmanned at times (like when the staff went to sweep the lawn outside the hotel or went upstairs to help another guest) so we had to wait a bit whenever we needed their help. But I guess this can't be helped for the hotel at such a great price point, and we didn't have to wait for too long anyway. My friend also found 2 strands of long hair (she has short hair) on her pillow when we checked in. The estate was a little dark after sunset but we got used to navigating the alleys after awhile.
4.2
We got a room on a higher floor than our earlier stay and it seemed slightly newer and was decorated very differently - my friend liked this room more. The room was clean and very spacious - we had a queen and a single bed and even with our 3 open luggages and a backpack, there was still plenty of space to walk around. Other good points that were the same as before - everything worked well, the hotel staff were helpful, and the location was super convenient.

- Big room with big comfortable double bed.
- Bathtub.
- Walking distance to many restaurants, food market, tourist attractions and amazing Cheonggyecheon Stream.
- Free coffee at the loby.
Special thanks to receptionist that worked at night on 29-30 October 2022 for helping us with getting to the airport at 3am. We are very grateful for all the help we got from him!
We will deifnitely get back to this hotel again while visiting Seoul :)

Mosquitos in the room.

had a great 8 night stay at this hotel! the room was very comfortable and made up daily, the staff were very helpful. The bathroom was large and very nice.
The location is okay, but you do have to walk a bit to get to anything exciting, the hotel is in the middle of a metal district

Overall, we spent 18 days at Nafore hotel during our stay in Korea even though it was initially 2 days at first. We always came back there when we were in Seoul.
The reason is simple : it was the best quality/price option we found in the city and probably in the country.
Location is really great to quickly move around the city and visit the main tourist spots.
The staff was really friendly and helpful (most of them speak English).
The rooms were big, bright, comfortable and very clean.
Some good and affordable restaurants next by the hotel (check Michelin guide).
Really convenient to discover Seoul :)
Thanks!
Nothing to mention

Big room, window can be slightly opened for fresh air though view is that of roofs and alleys.
Staff are mostly middle aged men who have limited English vocabulary and are very curt. Front desk staff do not want to be bothered after they have taken your payment. They think their only job is to give you the key and take your payment. One staff, told me so, since he said he was busy attending to tour reservations and refused outright to help me with my query. Problem is there is only one staff per shift. On my last day, I asked for help in getting a cab to go to the airport bus pick up point since my bags were heavy and I did not want to drag these through busy narrow alleys and unevenly paved sidewalks. The front desk staff refused to get me a cab and told me to just walk and could not explain why, I suspect because of his limited English vocabulary. I hope the hotel will hire staff who have are able to give directions to tourist sights and who are friendly and conversant in English. I will not recommend this hotel to solo travellers because the hotel is surrounded with Korean pubs with drunk boisterous people in the evening and dark alleys. It is far from regular restaurants and tourist sights or shopping places. Hotel does not serve breakfast so you have to walk far if you want to get a decent breakfast that is not from a convenience store. It is surrounded by shops selling trophies, metal works, and industrial tools.

The location is perfect. It's in downtown area with easy access to subways and buses.
