About this house rental
Summary:
18807 - Seaview: Water Views! Walk to Beach Dogs Welcome!
The Space:
Bring your beach buggie, flip flops and sand toys and get ready to enjoy a three minute walk to Robbins Hill beach right out the front door of our home. Start your day by brewing up some coffee and enjoying it on the large front deck or your private balcony off the primary bedroom, while taking in the ocean views from either. You can turn off the central AC and open the sliders to enjoy the ocean breeze on balmy days. As the ocean calls, pack up your beach gear and take the short walk down the street to the beach where you’ll spend the day soaking up the sunshine and splashing in the waves. End your day by enjoying your favorite cocktail while you grill up some fresh seafood or other summertime favorites.
This home has two bedrooms on the main floor, one with a King bed, and one with two Twin beds. The main floor also had a large living and dining area for hanging out, full bathroom and small, but well-equipped kitchen. The second floor of our home has one bedroom with a King bed, full bathroom, and one “bonus” room with two twin beds, best suited for the kids in the group. While beach access is this home’s big appeal, don’t forget that Brewster has a ton of great dining, shopping, and entertainment options that we’d be happy to help coordinate for you -- feel free to ask us for recommendations. Even your pups can join in on the fun, as dogs are welcome at our home.

Lovely home in great location

We took our parents to the Cape for the first time in 5years (ages 77-79). House was great for our group of 5 adults because the parents could be on the main floor with their own shared bathroom, close to the living room and kitchen. My husband and I took the upstairs master with living space and private deck which was a perfect place to escape to when we needed some alone time! Overall the house had everything you needed including an outdoor shower, grill and AC. However, the whole place needs a refresh. The deck is covered in a thin layer of green mildew with mismatched and worn furniture, The furnishings/decor inside are from the 80’s and the kitchen/master bath although functional, could use a total upgrade. The main living space does not have AC but the bedrooms did and were cool. The screen door had no top screen so we had to keep door shut for bugs. The dishwasher was temperamental and a closet door fell off its track in one of the down stairs bedrooms. The yard was spacious and the location was perfect allowing us to walk to and from two quiet public beaches at our leisure. The neighborhood is beautiful with a nice flat development to walk through with our dog. Overall, it’s a good house with potential to be great with a little TLC.Sometimes it’s hard to swallow the weekly price tag to rent on the Cape but it’s always worth it in the end!

We enjoyed our stay with this great location close to the beach, with great views, and to town.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this house in Brewster. Quick access to the beach and the town of Brewster. Very central to everywhere on Cape.
House is nicely furnished and good set up for cooking. Beds were comfy and good blackout shades for early sun shine. Only issue is didn't have shampoo or conditioner but luckily my wife always packs. Lots of beach toys, chairs, coolers, etc. Very well set up to enjoy the beach or time at home. Would stay again.

Great location and great amount of space. Nice spot for family vacation.

This is our second year at this great house. We’re a 2 family group and this place is perfect for our needs. It became pet friendly this year which is great. Everything we needed for cooking and grilling. An extra AC would have helped as our week was hot: the mini splits were nice but distribution definitely an issue.

Lovely property. Great location

Wonderful location only a couple hundred yards walk from a beach at the end of a cul-de-sac. Beautiful views from the upper deck. Nice big backyard to play in with high privacy hedges. Interior is spacious, with nice accommodations. The beds were comfortable, and the provided linens were very clean. We communicated to the management a few issues, including
- Grill was hooked up improperly to the propane tank, and even when I fixed it the grill was not working well enough to heat the food. We had to change our dinner plans. Seems like grill may need service or replacing.
- TV was not connected to the network and there were no instructions on how to do so, so we could not watch it.
- The hoses were not hooked up outside.
- The latch to the outdoor shower was so rusted that the lock was unopenable.
- In the bin of beach toys, there was a large bucket full to the rim of old water.
We may be the first guests of the season, and were only there for two nights and three days, and our impression was the house seemed like it had not been checked in a while, as some of the above issues indicate, plus we had to clear out a bunch of spiders that were on the ceilings in the bathrooms.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans, but there were no basic spices or condiments of any kind, nor any aluminum foil or saran wrap or the like, so if you’re going to be cooking for the family make sure you bring everything you need.
Based on their follow-up communication with us, management seems highly motivated to fix these things so we’re guessing they will. If so our rating certainly would be higher. And we do want to stress that the house is spacious and the location fantastic.

Location is fantastic, with a short walk to both Mant's and Saints. House was exactly as advertised, and Del Mar were great, responsive hosts. I'd definitely rent through Del Mar again.

Nice house, walking distance to a beautiful beach, quiet and peaceful place to stay. Loved our visit to Cape Cod.

Family friendly house near the beach
We have rented at the cape for many years and loved this house which was just steps from Mants Landing Beach. We also loved that there were linens and that the beds were made when we arrived (and we were willing to manage the 9 AM checkout in return...). Everything was in good working order but the kitchen is definitely small as is the dining table, just barely large enough to seat our party of 7; we were also there during a heat wave and the AC units struggled to keep up (but they did it!). We loved our stay and will be excited to return if our schedule permits next year -- the location just can't be beat.

Great Location but needs updates and ANT issue!
I recently stayed at this Brewster home in May 2022. This is the third year in a row I have stayed in the spring. This year was the earliest, yet most expensive, and I booked early to try to enjoy the beach with our dogs. The weather had other plans, as it was very windy the entire stay, like sand whipping in your face, as soon as you walk on to beach windy! Thus, we spent more time inside the home.
Nothing has really changed in the home in 3 years, besides things worsening. There were significantly fewer cups, accessories, plates, etc. Some pots/pans were in rough shape. The outdoor grill was broken and did not work properly which really messed up my dinner plans to grill steaks that I brought. They no longer place couch/seat covers and some of the furniture was stained (chair in living room). Some of the lamps in living area would not turn on. There were A LOT of ants in the kitchen area, and coming out of wall where kitchen meets living room. That was annoying.
The biggest flaw was the outdoor furniture. There used to be seating areas outside, but most are gone, and never replaced, as I remember a love seat last year was in rough shape. The upstairs balcony had no furniture at all to sit and enjoy the view. On main deck there were a few mismatched chairs and one was broken. For how much I paid for 3 nights they can easily update the entire outside area.
Otherwise it was Average. Communication was great before visit, after, seemed disinterested when mentioning issues.

Awesome Location
This property was exactly as presented. Tons of space for two couples and a dog. Kitchen was well equipped which is nice for meals in. The walk to the beach is short and the beach is very nice especially to watch the sun set. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The views of the water from the second floor area nice bonus. Can also see the water from the first floor deck but I’d say that’s dappled at best.
Would recommend for families or couples traveling with a pet!

Nice family getaway
Location is excellent, everything was clean and comfortable. A little difficulty finding things in the house - for example, the lobster cooking pot was in the hall closet. Managers were great about filling requests.

Great location
Nice short walk to bay beach. Only water view is from upper deck. Comfortable house. Kitchen and furniture run down or broken. Kitchen well equipped with pots pans dishes but no sugar or spices. Minimal linens. Property manager very responsive. Ok for what you got for your money.

Perfect location
My in-laws owned a house on Cape Cod for 20 years but decided to sell it about 5 years ago. My kids grew up going to the cape every summer so we decided it would be nice to go back and have a relaxing trip during these not so relaxing times. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook our meals and there were a number of restaurants close by for take out. We loved being able to walk down to the beach and to be able to see the water from the house. When my kids were young we always played board games or read books at the Cape and the house had both of these things to choose from. It was a nice quiet place to spend time with our adult children and relax.

I stayed at the Seaview home for three nights in mid June 2020. The house was great and was like its own resort, with a beach steps away from the home, fire pit in back yard, out door seating areas, and fully equipped kitchen! My mother, two friends, and I stayed and we all had an amazing time. Check in was very easy as you simply enter a code to get into the home. There was plenty of room for parking off this single lane road the house is on, so quintessential Cape Cod, and added to the experience. The only negatives I can think of, grill was uncovered when I arrived, some rooms could benefit from being repainted, and upstairs fan in bedroom was noisier than other fan. When I removed the sheets from the upstairs bed, as part of check out procedure (which includes removing all trash and bagging sheets and towels), I noticed the mattress cover had several stains. I was not a fan of how both king beds are actually two beds put together and you can feel that significantly so you cannot sprawl across the bed. One of my two requests was not honored, as I asked for two twin beds to be put together, was told it would be done without issue, but was not done. They did allow a noon check out which was greatly appreciated! The house was spacious, we all had plenty of room, we loved the local pictures in the hallway, the beach decor throughout was nice, and the open concept downstairs was perfect. There is even a full third bath in basement that was a surprise. The home makes you feel like you are staying at a friends house, who is out of town, as there is everything you may need, like games, books, tools, and a plethora of items in the kitchen to prepare meals. I was surprised by the Keurig, which was not pictured, but luckily my friend who arrived later brought some K-cups for me! We were able to grill and make dinner all three nights and had a great time. Some of the cookware (pots/pans) were old and need replacing. My favorite part of the home was the water view, especially from the upstairs balcony, and you can see the bay from bed upstairs. I loved sitting or laying on the balcony upstairs and hearing the waves in the distance. There is a screened door so you can hear the waves as you fall asleep. I loved how at night, the neighborhood is very dark, and very silent, so serene and tranquil. The neighbors, when I walked my dog, were all so friendly, everyone greets you, and you feel like a part of the neighborhood! I hope to return some day!
