We absolutely loved our stay at Casa de Las Palmas! We traveled to Isla Mujeres with a family of 12 with 4 generations. The houses were set up perfectly. We had everything we needed and more! The grounds were beautiful and the pool was beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice! It was in a very quiet neighborhood perfect for a family. We rented golf carts and drove all over the island. It was about a 15 minute ride to the center of town and Playa Norte. The people were all friendly and we felt very safe. There is a big store with everything you would ever need about 10 minutes away. I can’t say enough about Casa de Las Palmas and Isla Mujeres!! It was the best vacation!

Casa de las Palmas is a paradise. Everyone from the host, property manager, house owner and concierge were friendly and responsive. The pictures do not do this place justice.

This is a great property for a big group! We travel with two other families and have 18 people total, including 12 kids. The property is set up perfectly for our 3 families. Pool area is amazing and the staff working around the property were all great!! Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic 7day stay with large group
Property is somehow better than the pictures!! Each bedroom and en-suite bath are stunning. The property is situated on the quieter end of the island right across from the ocean. We stayed with our extended family for a week (14adults and 4kids)
Check in wasn’t great. We had planned to meet at 4pm but no one arrived until almost 5pm leaving one of our family members waiting.
House was clean on arrival and the cleaning crew was great, coming multiple times during our stay and helping facilitate a little bit of laundry mid week.
The layout of the house gave lots of privacy to individual family members while also allowing us to all come together in the main house for meals. Kitchen was great and despite not having a dishwasher we all pulled together for clean up and it went just fine. Plenty of air conditioning when needed and island breezes too! The view of the ocean is better than shown in the photos.
The pool was amazing and was worth it to pay to heat the hot tubs. Our kids spent every waking hour in the pools and hot tubs.
The beach across the street has some sand and lots of tidal pools for exploring. A short walk down the beach there is more sand but the water is rolling waves here not ideal for little ones. We did snorkel off the beach across from the house multiple times but it requires experience snorkeling and ocean reading ability to safely snorkel here. Reef and fish here were generally healthy.
Staying here requires transportation. We rented one golf cart and then also used taxis. Both are expensive. It’s about a 10min golf cart ride to the ferry. 5min to the big grocery store.
The family with the shell stand across the street made us tacos one day for lunch which was very good and cheep. But order early if you have a large group.
Covid testing was straightforward. A doctor came to the house and tested everyone. Result in minutes and a currier hand delivered the paperwork a few hours later. Also received an email with results.
One word of caution. The floors inside and out are slippery when wet and we had a lot of older family members that were a fall risk. The bedroom doors in the main house slam shut with wind and one of our littles got her thumb smashed. There is also a lot of mud between the house and casitas from all the foot traffic. It is also uphill from the casitas to the main house if people will have trouble navigating stairs and hills.
Overall great experience.
