TRAVEL:
The address is Trail Creek Condominiums, 522 East Mountain Road, Unit 45, Killington, VT 05751. From New York City, I like to take 87 all the way to exit 20, then Route 149, then eventually Route 4 through Rutland to Killington. I find it to be a smooth, easy drive compared to all alternatives. Once at Killington, you will see Killington Road (AKA “The Killington Access Road”) that has all the main restaurants, night spots, and ski stores as you drive up toward the mountain. Just before the Snowshed base area, turn left onto East Mountain Road. Then Trail Creek is just a one-minute drive along East Mountain Road -- it is about the 2nd driveway on the right after The Grand Hotel. After you turn right into the Trail Creek driveway:
* For unit 45 (3 bedroom condo), take the first left within the parking lot and then take any parking spot near the end of the first building (at the 3rd stairway), about 8 parking spots down.
Ultimately, feel free to park anywhere in the lot. There is no limit to the number of cars you may bring. Note that there is parking on either side of the parking lot outside units 45 (meaning that the side with the maintenance shed opposite unit 45 can also support a row of cars.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING:
There are multiple destination chargers in the upper parking lot of Snowshed base or the nearby golf club (which are 5 mins walk away from Trail Creek; see the official Tesla map). If you want to top up before heading up to Killington, use the Rutland Supercharger, but you can always just leave your Tesla plugged in overnight at a destination charger when needed. Unfortunately, I can’t vouch for non-Tesla chargers due to reliability concerns.
CHECK-IN:
* Standard check-in time is 5PM. However, the pool/ jacuzzi area (which includes showers/changing rooms) will be available to you with the same code from 10AM on your check-in day (i.e. much earlier) and until 10PM on the day you check out. Killington also has many happy hour options like The Lookout restaurant and bar.
* Digital smart locks are installed. You will get an email with the passcode as part of your booking confirmation message. Wait for the beeps before turning the handle or try turning the handle upward if it doesn't engage the first time. The code is your personal code; it will work during your stay only.
* Trash and recycle bins are in the drawer opposite the sink. Please discard full garbage bags in the dumpsters behind the maintenance shed across the main parking lot (near the main road).
* Thermostat for the living room is built into the gas heater itself (flip open the flap) and bedrooms have wall thermostats. If the gas room heater ever flashes "99" or “11” it means snow needs to be cleared away from the exhaust pipe outside (behind the wall immediately on the right as you exit the back door).
* Sofa bed: Extra sheets and blankets are in the master bedroom closet, wrapped inside a pillowcase.
* Back door: Please keep closed so that no garden voles sneak into the condo, even if you are not worried about insects.
* In case they are helpful, you can also use the carts scattered around the grounds to move things around more easily (e.g. luggage, or trash when leaving).
CHECK-OUT:
* Standard check-out time is 11AM.
* Please throw the last dirty dishes into the machine with a soap pellet (not the green liquid) and switch it on when you check-out. No need to put them away but please minimize dirty dishes left lying around.
* Sofa bed: Please remove soiled sheets from the sofa bed mattress BUT leave the padded “mattress pad” on the mattress (or let me know if it is missing). All other soiled sheets for regular beds will be noticed by the cleaning crew, so nothing special needed there.
* Filled garbage and recycling bags can be disposed of at the dumpsters behind the maintenance shed across the parking lot (opposite unit 45).
* Please turn off the ceiling fan.
* Standard check-out is 11am, but feel free to use the pool/ hot tub area and changing rooms after vacating the condo and loading the car with luggage, then skiing (or biking), to "in effect" extend your stay and get the benefit of a shower and a place to get changed or relax. You’ll have access until 10PM. The pool/ jacuzzi area is part of the same building as unit 45, at the opposite end, a short walk up the hill.
See House Manual for more tips and a travel guide (available after you finish your booking).

Spent a few nights here with a friend and our sons. Perfect location and set up for a great weekend of biking! Great communication from owner, and the condo was just right for our group.

The place was beautiful! The host was very good with communicating and the slight issues we had in the begining with the locking system down. Overall we would go back in a heartbeat! Quite , relaxing, exactly what we wanted.

I was expecting luxury condo as advertised. There are so many condos there that if you are looking for something special, like luxury, that will tip the scales of what you choose. This condo is by no means that. it is ok, like a well-worn extended stay hotel room. Furnishing in the bedrooms, especially the master (which felt like a basement apartment) were disappointing.. The main living area is small but comfortable. Whole space could use a really good cleaning. Dishes in dishwasher when we arrived, no trashbag liners in place. Makes you wonder if it was cleaned or just sheets and towels changed. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and the location is convenient to the mountain. Would not stay again.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. Communication was great, and the condo is conveniently located. Would definitely recommend. One note for prospective renters: It is a bit of a walk to the lifts. Doable with your gear, but prob about 10 minutes (and might be a slog with kids). There is a dedicated trail that allows you to ski right down to the condo, which is a great way to end the day. So definitely a "ski off" location.

The location of this unit is terrific, with a ski home trail and 5 min walk to the lifts. Hot tub and pool are steps away. Easy parking. Nice layout with multiple bathrooms. Good for a multi-family group. Condo was clean, well-equipped and property owner provided thorough, helpful information.

Location & condo layout is great. Being so close to the Mountain is wonderful as well as close to everything else. Easy to cook in galley kitchen. Unlimited fire wood for fireplace is a plus. In condo Sauna is a real treat! We would rent again. Couldn’t give 5 stars because it needs a deep cleaning.

This was our first time staying at this condo, and we would love to come again! Beautiful condo, in a wonderful location. Condo was spacious yet cozy and everything was clean and comfortable. We loved using the wood-burning fireplace, and it was wonderful to have wood included and readily available. The ski trail home was a fun adventure, and it was incredibly convenient. We also had a great time in the hot tub and heated pool, which was just a short walk from the unit (a few houses away). I had a question for the owner when we checked in, and he was incredibly responsive and kind. The kitchen also had everything we needed to cook full meals. We couldn't ask for anything more!

My husband & I recently stayed here with our three kids and had a wonderful time! The property was easy to find and so accommodating. There was plenty of space for everyone and the walk to the slopes was very convenient. It was also nice to have the pool and hot tub just a few doors down - the kids especially enjoyed that!
In addition to the property itself being clean, fully stocked and welcoming, Alex was great to work with! He provided so much helpful information about his condo, nearby restaurants and skiing activities and responded almost immediately to any questions.
I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful stay in Killington area for a family wedding. The condo had all of the amenities of a hotel and we so appreciated not having to lug sheets, towels, and toiletries. Great space for our immediate family and grandparents! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Directions to the property and check in were clear and easy access on day of arrival with key in code already set for us. All around great stay and would highly recommend!!

Trail Creek Condo Unit 45 - Ski Trip
My family stayed at this condo over February school break 2022 for four nights. The owner was very responsive. The unit was clean and well kept with everything we needed in the kitchen as well as linens and towels provided. It is a bit of a hike in ski boots to get to the ski lift. Ski home trail wasn't open the first day due to lack of snow cover. The upstairs bathroom has been thoughtfully renovated.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Perfect location for ski-in/ski-out. Comfortable rooms, nice decor.
