Quiet and warm at night, comfortable beds, huge dining room table, large living room with pellet stove, uninterrupted view of Vermont mountains out of tall windows. Seven of us stayed in the house with no crowding. Some of us were there for four days and we were sad to leave. Five minutes drive to Bear Mountain lodge, five minutes drive to Skyeship Gondola base lodge. The listing says "one minute walk from Killington resort". We believe this statement comes from Google maps. You could get to the gondola path by trekking downhill through the forest, some of which is privately owned. But you cannot walk with skis to a ski run, nor ski to the house. When you arrive, the wooden stairs leading up to the house turn on with a switch at the bottom.

This a nice home with a large kitchen and living room, open floor plan set up for everyone to hang out together. The views from the window filled living room are amazing. The house could use a couple upgrades to make it 5 star. New TV in the living room and upgrade the lighting/switches.
The road and especially the driveway are steep, be sure to have a good 4WD vehicle to get up to the house in the winter. There are also lots of steps leading to an unshoveled path to the front door. We spent our nights in the house because some of us didn't want to drive up and down the hill in the dark. I wanted to go out :(

This property, especially the living room, is stunning. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt unplugged while here.
However, there was a 24 hour snowstorm while we were here and no one came to plow the driveway until well after the storm had passed and I had contacted management about it. In the meantime, we fell multiple times in driveway and on the walkways, and one of our cars (with snow tires and 4 wheel drive) slid down the driveway and into a parked car. Could have been avoided if the plowing service was on top of things.
Host was communicative and responsive.

Second stay here. The views and location are unreal. Plenty of room for 6 of us to stay comfortably on our mountain bike weekend. Could have fit more easily.

The house we moved in wasn’t cleaned, disinfected and prepared at all as the website mentioned.
Also it had a strong smell of tobacco inside even though it was said it’s non-smoking house.
When we arrived, there was a pile of dirty sheets and towels, sticky floors, dirty bathrooms, yellow circles on dirty pillows (not a single clean pillow!) and three knives just laying down in random spots around the house, two of which where found by a kid in a couch and in a bedroom. One more fell down from the to shelve while my wife was trying to take something from the top shelf with pots and pens. (I’ll attach the picture of the knifes, because there were huge and covered in rust. )
The cleaning lady with a small child arrived on the next day after our arrival, when everyone went skiing. She said to our brother, who was home at the time, that they forgot to clean and were trying to get in the house saying that she needs to wash the sheets and clean. Our brother didn’t let her in since he was alone in the house and everyone had their belongings in the house.
Unfortunately, when we arrived we decided that the house was poorly cleaned, and we couldn’t imagine that’s the pile of towels and sheets - it’s dirty sheets, so guests used it all….
When we arrived later that day after skiing, we were told by our brother that the sheets and towels we used - were DIRTY - couple of the guest left the house in hysterics and went to stay in the hotel, couple of others permanently left with assumptions about all possible diseases they could get from using uncleaned towels and sleeping on dirty sheets.
The main reason we rented this house is to celebrate our Orthodox Christmas which is on January 7th and it’s completely ruined because most of the guests have left the house and we gonna have to pay more for the house then we planned. Everyone grossed out and paranoid from the fact that we used dirty sheets and towels. We had to drive to Walmart for an hour and buy new pillows and towels and desensitization products for the body and face.
Very disappointed by completely ruined Christmas and vacation.

We had a great stay! We went for a long weekend for a Spartan race and it was super close the the venue (killington resort). The main room and deck views we're stunning! The kitchen and bathrooms were outdated but not in a bad way. Everything was functional and it was nice to have multiple bathrooms. The sauna was a nice additional as well. There wasn't any instructions for the checkout process so we just did the typical "towels in the bath tub, dishes clean, take the trash out" thing and I hope that's all we needed! Overall highly recommend

The property was great for a guys group of 4 golf trip. The views were spectacular. The only suggestion is to place a newer TV in the living room (or swap the new TV in the bedroom with the one in the living room). Just a suggestion to update your pictures on line as the carpet is new/different from the pictures shown and the blankets/bedding - curtains also seem to be updated.

Beautiful house with plenty of room. Gorgeous views from the balconies. Perfect location only minutes from Killington resort area. Very responsive host.

This was the most picturesque house we have ever stayed. It has a beautiful large deck overlooking the mountains. The house is decorated with mid-century furniture and appliances. It is beautiful and feels like a time travel inside the house. The rooms are very spacious and 2 bedrooms have wonderful views. One afternoon we spotted a big black bear enjoying the raspberries on the hill right below the deck. It was amazing to observe this beautiful animal safely from the deck. It was an amazing experience since we have never had a chance to observe a bear, in its environment, so closely and for so long. We are leaving with unforgettable memories and will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. The place is great and was very comfortable. Awesome views from the deck. As mentioned, the road is steep and our 2 wheel drive rental car struggled to get up to the parking space by the stairs. Would definitely stay here again.

The location alone is worth "the price of admission". Incredible views of ski mountains and the valley below. Hosting management group is very responsive and considerate. We actually thought the absence of cable and WiFi ended up being a plus. Instead of staring at TV we had more fun hanging out with kids and taking in surroundings. The sauna is a huge plus especially after a day in slopes.
Key note: the road to the home is very steep to begin with and the driveway is even steeper. All Wheel Drive or 4x4 is an absolute must here.

Killington Trip
This house was beautiful, especially the den! The view was great and the house was very clean. However, there was no wifi and no working TV. There is not a true wood burning fireplace only a wood pellet stove. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
