Lovely, quiet location

A curtain or blind on the area adjacent to the lounge would be beneficial for added warmth, keeping the heat in and security.

There was nothing we didn’t like. With three women though it would have been good to have a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms.

it’s very homey and it has very relaxing vibe inside and outside! the house is packed with toiletries and other kitchen stuff, we weren’t expecting it as most of the places we’ve stayed are just so limited. the location is perfect! less than 2 minutes drive to Katoomba falls!

The Perfect Stay

Perfect location! Very clean and well equipped. Heaters in all rooms is a blessing with low temperatures at night. Highly recommend and totally enjoyed the stay!

The en suite shower was a little small but not a big issue for short stay.

Great views, great hikes, cozy living, good food.

We were traveling with friends and liked everything about the cottage. It was lovely with a well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful view from the living room and patio including an amazing sunset. We walked from the station but other transport is available. The hikes are all nearby. we enjoyed many good meals in town.

Cute, cosy, comfortable……we will be back!

The house felt like a home, it was welcoming, we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. The location was great for access to the shops as well as local landmarks and hikes. Our hosts left really clear instructions about how to use the facilities (eg tv, heater) and were in contact for us throughout the stay as needed.

There wasn’t much not to like, had we been on a longer trip we probably would have needed a dryer.

Property was self catering. Location good. Kitchen well fitted. We enjoyed the fireplace. Loved the balcony which overlooks a wooded area.

Bathroom was dark with inadequate lighting and small mirror. House was very cold when we arrived.

Excellent location. Very handy for our requirements. Gorgeous view. Relaxing and warm. Heater very efficient. Wonderful kitchen equipment, plentiful and worked well. Great property for husband and wife, 2 teenage daughters and my mother.

Driveway scraped with 5 of us and car load of luggage. Little hard to watch TV when sun streaming in over gorgeous vista, but doesn't last long.

Quiet and cosy house, wonderful view of the tree line from the deck. Well equipped home with everything we needed for our 5 day stay.

I would have liked the broom & dust pan/brush stored beside the fridge as they were under the deck & wet from the rain.

Our second stay of the year at this property was as fabulous as the first time. We were happy with the gas heated fireplace since the weather in Katoomba was unusually cold at this time of year. Great location, very close to town and amenities but at the same time it feels like you're far away from civilisation in the middle of the bush. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Great place, would stay there again

Great place, nice location, comfy and clean. Great view from the lounge: beautiful sunset. New fireplace which keeps entire place warm. Good kitchen with everything you need. Will be missing the spherical unmilked cow (in vacuum) on verandah though ;))

Lovely house

The house warm and comfortable facilities clean and tidy, scenic spots nearby and a wide balcony overlooking the beautiful scenery in the distance, unexpectedly is the kitchen provided everything we need, especially prized the hosts are so friendly and reply in time, a perfect vacation place full of artistic breath, even though the weather not so good, but we still had a lovely holiday here, and we will definitely come again.

The toilet faucet water in the master room is relatively small, I hope it can be improved. Thanks

Great location. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Facilities were great and plentiful. My pet hate when staying in accommodation is that they ration supplies (eg bowls, cups etc) to match the capacity of the accommodation. This was not a problem at Katoomba Falls Lodge. Cutlery, crockery was in abundance which meant we weren't constantly doing dishes. Coffee machine was great. Pods supplied to cover initial supply. House was clean. A cool change came through when we arrived and the heating was perfect. The fire was already lit before be arrived. Lovely touch. Washer/ drier provided, although I don't use a drier, so my only comment is that there isn't a full sized washing line. A small line is strung on the deck, but certainly not enough space (or pegs) for a full load. Would most definitely return.
