loved the house, was clean had all the necessities we needed and it was so comfortable and inviting. The host Wendy was so inviting and sweet that made the stay even better.

The house was spacious with full kitchen which is what I enjoyed. There's also a fire place in the sitting area

The house especially the bedrooms was not provided with blankets or electric blankets. For that time of year, it's a necessity. There was also no alternative energy during loadshedding

Breathtaking getaway

The house is absolutely stunning!! The pictures don't do justice to this beautiful gem. It's in a peaceful location and Wendy was an absolute pleasure to speak to. She made us feel welcome from the start and her warm nature is truly something special. We checked in earlier than planned and she accommodated us. Will definitely be going back

The house was cozy and neat. The owner was friendly and helped us out when we ran out of gas when we wanted to use the stove. Great location and the facilities were excellent. The fireplace was the icing on the cake 🍰 Overall a great experience

perfect midlands accomadation.

The property was very modern and was spacious enough to have family and friends together (6 people) without ever feeling over-crowded at all. with all the load shedding in South Africa the Hosts were smart to install a gas stove and gas Braai (Barbeque). At no Point were we inconvenienced by anything during our stay. The most disappointing part of the stay is that we could not stay longer. we will definitely be going back to April house.

Beautiful and spacious.

The house is stunningly beautiful, very quiet and you feel at peace at the place. House had everything could have asked for, enough beds and bathrooms for our big crowd of 9. All rooms were very clean. House is nicely located to all amenities.

Stunning house with well appointed but not over-the-top décor.

Stunning house with well appointed but not over-the-top décor. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms bringing the tally of bathrooms to three between the four bedrooms which is more than sufficient. The outdoor furniture makes it easy to enjoy the large garden. There is also a play area for children with a tree house. All of this plus the keen pricing makes it easy to recommend this property.

Best Holiday Home in Howick. Spacious and comfortable. Wendy was very helpful and friendly.Everything about the house is beautiful. The pictures does not do it justice. I will definitely be back again!!!

Pleasant

Our bed in main bedroom was very comfortable and we had a good nights rest. House is nice and big.

The house needs a good clean. On arrival there were coke/coffee stains on floor. The lounge suites are dirty and had stains on..same with carpets. The shower's windows/glass in main on suite is VERY dirty. This could be a very nice place to stay if more care are given in upkeeping and cleaning.

This is a true home from home. Beautiful decor, spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wendy was a great host.

The DSTV channels were blocked for a lot of the time we were there.

It was a joy to spend time at April House!!! We looked forward to coming home to it each day....

We loved the property, it was such a lovely surprise when we arrived. Beautifully decorated, we were sad to leave, definitely could have stayed longer. It'll be our first choice for our next visit.

If I have to say something, the carpet in the main bedroom was a little grubby.

Beautiful open plan house, great for group of 8

The house really exceeded all of our expectations, the pictures on the website really don't do it any justice. Also loved the fact that there were items in the house we could use and replace for e.g. Ice packs, wood for the fire place.

The fact that the house is in a quiet neighborhood so we were forced to keep reminding ourselves to speak softly, which is hard cause we are such a loud group but all in all our stay was amazing.
