About this resort
Amazing private suite in the Village Lodge Resort. Location, Location, Location! With amazing views over the village plaza, gondola and beyond, this amazing 3 bedroom/3 bath retreat is the perfect get away! Complete with two master suites and a washer/dryer the amazing project/Village amenities include a pool, hot tubs, work out facility, easy access to the restaurants, shopping, bars, the bike park and the Village gondola to Canyon Lodge. The Village is also a main shuttle hub to everywhere! Park your car in the convenient underground parking and enjoy an amazing stress-free vacation with no driving needed!
This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath third floor suite with large balcony in the front of the village gondola. (Directly above Gomez Mexican Restaurant) The Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season.
2 Bedrooms are King with en suites. (private bathrooms) The unit accommodates up to 8 people in your choice of 1 King, 1 King, 1 Bunkbed with a full, twin and a pullout queen sofa in living room. The unit is just steps away to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops and more. Some units claim to be ski in/ski out but it is more like ride out/ski back. The gondola is located right out the front door (a few steps away) and a ski back trail seasonally opened which returns within a short walk. Once you arrive in the underground parking you never need to drive again. We have one parking pass available in the unit once you check-in. If you need a second parking pass you can always pickup one up from the front desk (this has never been a problem for any of our guests when hotel occupancy is less than 70%). Other nearby parking is available as well for an overnight fee.
The Village gondola is only a few steps away or you can conveniently walk to the curb to the free shuttle stop before the Main Lodge.
In the summer, you can watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows in the Main Village Square. You never need to leave the Suite. The balcony looks over the Main Square so there's always something fun to see. There are are also activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, horseback, water activities and more.
The suite has a large kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a general store on the street level with groceries, alcohol and necessities if you forget anything for your trip. Price of the suite includes all the resort amenities including Free Guest Village Wifi, heated resort pool, 3 hot tubs, 3 outdoor fire rings, and 2 fitness centers. Our building (known as the Lincoln House) also has a private hot tub and workout room for guests.
The suite includes a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen. That means no lugging up cases of drinking water during your stay. Most suites only have highly chlorinated tap water available, purified drinking water is an absolute must at 8,000 feet. Makes much better coffee too!
We are close to the elevator so its very easy to get too and from your vehicle or the gondola!
The suite is located in the heart of the village square (above the Gomez Restaurant) so you can be part of just about everything. That does mean a little more noise on the weekends and holidays, but that's Mammoth Village living.

Great location in the Mammoth Village and plenty of room with 2 master bedrooms and another bedroom. We loved being centrally located, having plenty of room for 5 of us, and having garage parking.

we have stayed here a few times before and never any issues. this time the cleaning people failed to check/clean the washer and dryer and we had a horrible surprise. in the dryer was sand and dirt (maybe from drying wet dirty shoes and the wash was full of wet dryer sheets and period pad liners. It even has brown chunks on all the wet dryer sheets. not sure what that was but i had to put gloves on to clean it all out prior to us using it. The owners were very apologetic. I am sure it was either a young child that through stuff in there or a very bad joke. either way really gross to clean up

This was a fabulous property for our three-night stay! There was plenty of space, the bathrooms were huge and very up-to-date, beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and location can't be beat. Two of us were teaching online for part of each day and the wifi was excellent. In addition, communication with property owners was excellent. They answered any questions very quickly and were extremely personable.I would highly recommend this property as a base for your visit to the Mammoth area.

We had an amazing time in Mammoth and our stay at the Village Center Stage Premium Suite was the perfect location with great amenities. The suite accommodated our group of 4 adults and 2 teens perfectly. Check in/out was easy and we had a near immediate response from Matt when we asked to add an additional night to our stay. We were conveniently located within walking distance to a variety of eateries and shops or a short car/bike ride away from many others. E-bike rentals and shuttles are steps from the lobby as well. The only improvements we could recommend would be updating the carpet due to some worn/torn areas near the kitchen and addressing some mold around the caulking in the shower in the master suite we used (unsure if there were any issues in the other 2 bathrooms-we did not check those since our guests were using them). All in all it was a great stay, we would stay here again, and recommend others to stay here as well.

The microwave did not work. Stayed 3 nights and after the 2nd night the property manager came to test the microwave with a piece of bread. Of course it worked at that time, but it was stated that there were previous problems noted regarding the microwave. More hangars were requested and the broken blinds were noted. Both items not corrected.

This place is an amazing location in the village! You can walk to dinner, the shops, to coffee. The gondola is literally right outside and the bus to the main lodge is across the street. We would highly recommend this place and hope to be back!

The condo was perfect for us and our grown children. Location can’t be beat. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us.

Great communication with the owner and very detailed explanation of check-in process that was very convenient and efficient. The unit was very clean and well decorated. It was a large 3 bedroom unit that as conveniently located right across from the Gondola. The noise is to be expected if you’re staying anywhere in the village.

Played golf at Sierra star “ 5 after 5” cart and 5 holes after 5pm was $50 with cart, perfect! We liked the built in action of the village. The action does come with a little noise so if that is not your idea of fun, take that into consideration. Then we skied on Saturday. The unit worked out great and we had a fun summer weekend. Dad’s and teenage sons.

Absolute perfect spot with family. If you know anything about Mammoth, this condo is located in the Village Lodge(Lincoln Building) and your patio looks right out at the the main courtyard where you can watch the big movie screen or listen to live bands. The week we were there Puss in boots- The last wish was playing and the grandkids got to just sit on balcony in their PJ's The Host Matt was amazing and was in direct contact with us for our questions. I want to give a special thanks to Matt who helped us with our Special needs granddaughters accomondations.

Fun to be in the center of things in the Village. This property was the best for viewing the July 3rd fireworks. Balcony view with fireworks 300' in front of us.
There can be some noise with windows open in the afternoon and evening, but we were given that warning before renting and expected it to be much worse on a 4th weekend. It was not really that noisy and the Village had outside activities end before 10:00. Crowds leave and all was quiet.

Not all locations in the village are created equal. Not only is this condo in the Village Lodge, but it is in the best location within the Village Lodge. The walk to the gondola is maybe 100 feet. Nothing in Mammoth is truly ski-in/ski-out (despite what many listings say), but this is the closest you can get.

Our experience with this booking was everything we had hoped it would be!
The checkin and checkout processes were easy and convenient. We received all the information we needed prior to arrival and we experienced Matt and Kelly to be very, very responsive when we had questions.
The unit was exactly as described in the listing. No surprises! The unit was clean and well-stocked. Our only input would be to add a couple more cutting boards and kitchen knives.
The location is amazing! We skied/boarded everyday - to be able to take just a few steps to the gondola made things super easy! Also, the Village did a great job with snow-removal - making those few steps that much “lighter”!
The heating in the unit is pretty powerful - we turned all thermostats to “off”, and it still felt warm. But we could easily adjust for that by briefly cracking open a couple of windows. No big deal!
We experienced a little nightlife noise on the Friday evening of our stay, but nothing that a little white noise couldn’t drown out.
We highly recommend this unit and hope to return for another stay, soon!

This rental is a no-brainer!!
Kelly and Matt were amazing hosts, they messaged me with all the check-in instructions, and called me a day before the trip to make sure I had everything I needed.
When we got there, the self-check-in was very easy (again, because of their detailed instructions), the suite had everything we needed and everything was spotlessly clean.
The location is amazing, the views every morning were breathtaking, the rooms were all very comfortable and the common area was perfect to enjoy with family and friends.
And the underground garage + ski locker for the ski/snowboarding equipment was a fantastic extra perk.
Will definitely recommend this property, and will stay here every time if possible!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matt and Kelly’s 3 bedroom condo in The Village. The location right above Gomez’s restaurant is super convenient and offers a nice view of the gondola. The condo is nicely furnished, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. And whether you hit the slopes or not, The Village is the best place to stay. We parked the car when we arrived and didn’t need it until the day we left. Plenty of restaurants, shops and a grocery store right there.
The hosts were easy to communicate with and check-in was easy with a lockbox next to the front door.
We have stayed at many condos at the Village Lodge over the years, but this was actually better furnished and better kept than others we’ve rented through the hotel. As a host myself, I know that people who rent their own vacation homes usually take great care of them, as in this case.
We will gladly stay again.

We were here for night of lights which is very crowded. This location was perfect getting to the venue and eating without having to drive. I was worried about the noise in the village but it was not a problem! Would definitely come back ….great for quick access to skiing👍🏻

Positives: convienient location...close to the village restaurants/shops/lift, nicely decorated condo, easy checkin, perfect skiing weather
Negatives: extremely uncomfortable mattresses in bunk beds, can't control heat in the condo (had to open windows and balcony door to cool down which let in outdoor noise from nearby restaurants and traffic noise), only 1 parking space allowed, one room had broken blinds and broken/dirty humidifier

What an experience. From the communication with the owners, to the location of the property, to the property itself…..simply amazing. The property was immaculate. Had everything that we needed to enjoy a 2 day getaway. All the amenities that you would need, to stay in for a quiet night, or the accessibility for an outdoor dinning experience. The views were incredible. Could’ve stayed on the patio watching the sunrise forever. We will absolutely be back!!

Long weekend in Mammoth!
Condo was perfect - brought the whole fam. This is truly a ski in - ski out unit. Just steps away from the Village gondola. Parked the car when we arrived and only moved it when we left! Walked to all the restaurants/bars, got up in the morning and just walked to the lift...less than 100 feet! Unit was clean, well stocked with a beautiful view. We will be back again!

Great location. Very well appointed unit. Lots of room. Great for eating in or bouncing downstairs to one of the many restaurants in walking distance. Lift tix, rentals all available right there. Gondola to Canyon Lodge is right out the front door. We will be back.
