Booked this home for a guys retreat. Quick 8 minute walk to downtown from the front door. Safe area. Easy assigned parking behind building. Very close to park entrance. Downtown Bar Harbor is awesome!! Would book this home again!

This property is in a great location. It is convenient to everything but quiet. The bakery downstairs is so fun.

The location is great, but the property has smelly garbage inside the front entry. smells terrible and doesn't make you feel good about the over cleanliness.

This second floor apartment was fantastic and more than enough space for six adults and one child. Excellent beds, linens, water pressure, and all the items you need for a stay that feels truly like home. It has character and exceptional quality for its “age” (referring to the historical beauty and legacy of the building), but all the modern amenities and comfort you need. Clearly the owners were thoughtful of what their guests would want or need when doing such thoughtful renovations. We absolutely loved our stay and it made for a wonderful home base for our first time to Bar Harbor. Thank you so much for offering a great home!

We enjoyed every part of our stay in Bar Harbor. You could not get a better location or more space. The place had everything we could need to be right at home. The beds were comfy, rooms were spacious, bathrooms are tight but the extra half bath makes up for it, plenty of towels and nice linens.

This apartment was great for our family. We have been to Bar Harbor several times and this location was awesome. everything was walkable and it was nice and quiet at night. No issues with anything in the apartment. The check in and out was clear and the host was very communicative and available and checked in on us via vrbo message over the course of our stay!
Thanks for a great trip. would def stay here again.

The apartment is extremely convenient to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. Location is unbeatable. Less than a 1/2 mile walk to harbor and downtown shops/restaurants. Grocery store, bike rentals, great restaurants even closer! The only thing it's missing is outdoor space if that's important. Apartment has been remodeled with modern fixtures, is spacious, well lit, and has a well appointed kitchen. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen very clean, hot water and great pressure in the showers. We stayed in early May, before the season, and had an issue that in the end was fairly resolved by the host who was very responsive and took ownership, very refreshing. I would stay here again.

We’ve been visiting Acadia every summer for about 10 years but this was our first spring visit and our first time staying right in the town. The apartment was a great location—we could walk right into town whenever we wanted and w were just a few minute drive into the park. The apartment itself was great—super spacious with a really nice and well stocked kitchen. We made dinners several nights and hung out on the lovely couches. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Overall, a great stay band would definitely recommend staying here!

Great rental unit with close proximity to everything in Bar Harbor. Easy walk to grocery, bakery, restaurants, the harbor and all the sites. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Only recommendation is that they either clean the bedroom carpets or replace with new. Otherwise wonderful stay. Thank you!

Host was very helpful with a couple little issues with WiFi and cleaning supplies. Great location for spending time in Bar Harbor. Thank goodness one of the girls cancelled because the 5th bedroom would not have been good accommodations for an adult.

This setting was perfect for downtown Bar Harbor, a bakery/coffee shop downs and a short walk to Main Street. It had a great communal room, perfect for gatherings and games. The floor was rough wood, so we had to be care to wear slippers, still had a few splinters. Would stay again, beautiful location!

You couldn't wish for a better location: close to shops and restaurants (but not in the middle of all the traffic/congestion), less than 2 miles from Cadillac Summit Rd entrance, 600' from the grocery store, and right above a bakery that serves awesome breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Just park you car and walk anywhere in Bar Harbor or dive 4 minutes and you are in Acadia NP (with a parking spot when you get back. Plenty of room for 3 or 4 couples-rooms are all spaced apart so you still have privacy. Great accommodations to beat the record heat where we are from (Arizona).

We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs around the world, and this one was great! Our first impression walking in was how immaculately clean it was. The set up was great for our family of 8, including grandparents, parents & kids.
Parking in the back was nice as street parking is all paid. The apartment is right above Mount Dessert which is cute and has more than just baked goods.
We walked downtown, everything was very close including lots of amazing restaurants. Our daughter is celiac gluten free and there were lots of options.
We drove to Acadia and rented an Acadia Gem EV one day which was really fun. We did lots of hikes and it was great to be in nature.
Overall, I would definitely recommend staying in this rental! Having the 5 bedrooms was so nice!

Perfect location. Walking distance to everything in downtown. Great old building with lots of charm and well renovated. Plenty of space and nice amenities. Only 15 min to Acadia which was awesome. Will definitely stay there again if we come back to the area!

The property was exactly as it appeared in the pictures and description. It was perfect. More room than we needed. :) The location was great for walking to the amazing restaurants in Bar Harbor + exiting town each day for hiking in Acadia. HIGHLY recommend; especially if you have children. Great rooms for kids as well as adults.

The condo was clean, spacious and located in the downtown Bar Harbor with a great bakery downstairs. We had a large group and it met all our needs.

Our stay was great at this property! The location is amazing right in town. Never had to drive to anything in Bar Harbor which is a huge plus with how busy it can be and the lack of parking. Overall we had a great stay.

We had a very good stay. This place had lots of rooms in a quirky layout. You can see the history and “old bones.” It fit our group of 7 well, although the bathrooms were super small and in strange locations. Good guide book and local suggestions. Well done by the hosts. Beds were comfy and the window AC units allowed everyone to set theirs for comfort. Wished for more guest supplies, starter shampoo and bath soap as well as coffee and tea/tea pot would have been nice. Make sure you bring stuff because if the grocery store is closed, you are out of luck until next day. This is a 3 level building with a bakery below the unit. It was closed for most of our stay, but we went on check out day and it was very good. The only drawback back to the location in the building is that if the people staying upstairs are loud, you hear everything. We woke up very early everyday to running feet overhead. Kind of a bummer.
Again, not a deal breaker at all, but good to know. Would totally recommend and consider staying again.

Stayed with our adult children, while in town for a family wedding. Place was a bit larger than expected. The location was perfect for getting around Bar Harbor. Only used our cars to get there and to leave. Thomas was very helpful. Had a great time and the accommodations were perfect! Cindy

Amazing!
This property far exceeded our expectations (which were high to begin with). We traveled with 3 kids and 4 adults and this place was perfect for our group with room to spare. The location to town and Acadia can’t be beat. We hope to make it back again one day!

Comfort, ease right in town
Place was perfect for our large family vacation. Close to park for daily excursions, right in town so plenty to do, see, eat. Teens could venture on their own. Kitchen was perfect for fixing meals. Rooms were comfortable

Excellent location near all of Bar Harbor's points of interests.
The property is located within walking distance of everything you would want to do in Bar Harbor, whether it is dining, shopping, sightseeing, boating, or walking to Bar Island. It is also easy to get into and out of for spending time in Acadia or anywhere else along the beautiful Maine Coast. The bedrooms are all a nice size with everything you need, including extra blankets and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked, including containers to store leftovers from a meal cooked in or from one of the many delicious restaurants nearby. The hosts are very responsive to messages before and during the stay. Their recommendations are also spot on. Thank you for hosting us, and I look forward to visiting again!
