We had an amazing stay on Georgetown Island. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. Perfect for hiking, making smores and relaxing in the hot tub. Laurie was so incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond when we left something behind to help get it back to us. Absolutely fantastic surprise toys that my son greatly enjoyed playing with.

My family of four had a wonderful time staying in this home for a week. We used it as home base for day trips around the area and enjoyed the grill, hot tub and firepit in a peaceful wooded setting in the evenings. We also enjoyed the comfy family room when we stayed in and watched movies on a rainy day. Our favorite things were Mile Beach at Reid State Park and lobster rolls and fried clams at Five Islands Lobster Co. Thanks for a great stay!

Bonus: Lots of toys my 4 year old loved to play with during our stay. 😆

My wife, myself, my adult daughter and 3 year old granddaughter spent the week. It was perfect. Fun beach days, river cruise, museum tour, Freeport visit, shopping and just relaxing. The house is as beautiful as the pictures. Very clean and well furnished. The deck and fire pit are great for relaxing. The host is wonderful to communicate with and very accommodating.

This house was absolutely ideal for our annual vacation to Georgetown. Being a large family with teens to an infant, it's hard to find a property that works for everyone. This had enough space to spread out, but also ideal spots to all spend time together. It was clean, comfortable, and the hosts could not have been better. The location was quiet and private, but within easy drives to both Reid and Popham State Parks. We loved the hot tub and outdoor fireplaces, and the kitchen was very well appointed. We are looking forward to hopefully staying here again in the future.

We took this trip as a family trip to see our son who is at the Dolphin Restaurant for an externship. This home was so amazing, it is beautiful and down a country road in the woods. It was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and the hot tub was the best! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans making it of so helpful to cook for my family.
This home was above our expectations! We were very happy

The layout of this beautiful home was perfect for our family of five. There was space for us to gather together as well as ample room for us to spread out for a quiet afternoon of reading or relaxing. The great location allowed us to easily make day trips both north and south to explore the coast of Maine.
The home was comfortable, very clean and all areas were ready for our use. The outdoor fire pit, gas grill and fully stocked kitchen allowed us to easily cook meals together. Laurie had thought of everything…cooking sheets, bowls, mixer, you name it; she had it! The TV and surround sound were nice for late night movies & popcorn with the family.
Laurie was very thorough with information & directions for entering, managing and closing the home. When I had any questions, she was responsive and helpful. I’d highly recommend this home for your visit to Maine.

This home is beautiful and has a wonderful layout that is perfect for families. You are out in the woods and the deer will literally come within 15 feet of the deck to feed. There are trees everywhere and sitting on the large patio drinking coffee every morning was heaven. They also have a great hot tub to soak in at the end of the day on the patio. The owners couldn't have been nicer and one of them was actually there to great us when we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed. When we had a question they answered it and when we had an issue with the washing machine they came right over and fixed it. You do have to travel a little on some country roads to get to the resident and you are about 10-15 minutes from most of the restaurants in Bath or Georgetown, but if you want solitude and country beauty this is the perfect place for you and your family.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Georgetown. This home is beautiful. The property manager was great to deal with. We had a "perceived" issue when we first checked in, only to find it was 100% our issue. The window unit air conditioners have a remote that controls them. Laurie got back with us immediately after we messaged her that they wouldn't turn on and told us where the remotes were. They were in the bedroom, exactly where you would have thought, had we known they had remotes. haha! The evening dips in the hot tub were fantastic. We sat in the hot tub and watched an 8 point buck walk through the yard. If you've never been to Georgetown or coastal Maine, we highly recommend the area and this home to stay in. There are some very eclectic spots to visit. Robinhood Landing, 5 Islands Lobster Company, Maine Maritime Museum, Monhegan Island, and as many lighthouses as you'd like to visit... All wonderful. Laurie, thank you for the awesome place to stay.

Great place, even though i mentioned i would have extra people plus an infant the owner came by to kick us out. i was horrified. Said i lied to him and that we were too loud. They have family all around so we felt uncomfortable the rest of the stay. Not to mention i had to book monday to monday, which was not ideal. We left a day early. If i had to do this again i would not choose this property

If your vacation goals include: (1) quiet, and lots of it; (2) a short drive to multiple brew pubs and fine dining options; (3) tide pools; (4) a lovely well-taken care of home with comfy couches and a beautiful deck; and (5) finishing the day with a hot tub, this may be the property for you. Also, the host was awesome. Place was exactly as described/shown. Great value.

Beautiful house!
We enjoyed staying at this house. It had everything we needed, it was very clean and well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The only thing I could complain about would be there were only 4 chairs at the dining room table, also there isn’t any table and chairs to fit 7 on the deck either. We are big on eating as a family, but we worked it out

Great House for Family Vacation
Beautiful house in the woods in Maine. Quiet spot to relax in the evenings after exploring the islands and coast during the days. Hosts were very friendly and responsive - overall a great experience.

A great Maine experience!
Wanted to visit Maine with the family in late spring/early summer and really lucked out. The house itself is great, with lots of indoor and outdoor space and cooking options (didn't get a chance to use outdoor grill, but looks great). House is very private, so you can use the hot tub without worry. The island itself is beautiful, with lots of lovely parks and beaches to explore as well as excellent restaurant options. Nearby towns of Bath and Brunswick are close by for supplies. Really a great experience relaxing and exploring the Maine coast with a fantastic home base.

Hidden "Gem"
This place was just what we needed! We enjoyed every amenity indoors and out. We did leave the house to see some site but there is plenty to do on the island, including Robinhood Harbor. If we stayed in area again we would return. Thanks Laurie.

Perfect for Families
Very clean, large home with lots of extras. Located in a quiet, wooded area with Reid State Park & Beach a short drive away. Rooms had lots of space so our family of eight weren't falling over each other, so there was room for privacy if desired. Yet great space for all to spend get-together time too. Beautiful, large deck with built in hot tub was enjoyed by all. Kids loved that, a nice fire pit area, a tree house, lots of toys-blocks-games-books ... they never were bored! Some nice in-season restaurants on the island: Five Islands Lobster, Robin Hood Meeting House, The Osprey. Interesting day trips to Bath, Brunswick, Boothbay Harbor, Popham Beach State Park, Mid-Coast Botanical Gardens all are an hour or less away.
Host couple were very attentive and welcoming. I'd give them an A+ They answered all our questions and had the house well prepared. Weather we were going out for the day or cooking-in on the grill, we had a blast! A most enjoyable experience.

Fantastic Stay
We had a terrific stay here. The house is beautiful and has plenty of space. It is well-stocked with movies, books and games which gave us plenty to do. We especially enjoyed challenging each other in the basketball game, making smores in the back yard and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. It is a quick ride to Reid State Park and into Bath. Laurie was a tremendous and responsive host and even stocked the fridge with a special welcome gift which we especially appreciated as we were celebrating our anniversary during our stay. Would love to visit again!

Wonderful vacation house!
We had a great vacation at this property! The house was immaculate and cozy, and had lots of amenities- the kitchen is stocked with any item you would ever need! We really enjoyed using the fire pit and watching the wildlife. The house is in a private location, yet is a convenient starting point for day trips exploring mid coast Maine. We took day trips to Orr’s and Bailey Islands, Popham Beach, Reid State Park, Boothbay, Damariscotta and the Pemaquid Lighthouse. Popham beach is absolutely beautiful to explore at low tide. We highly recommend this property and hope to return!
