About this resort
This fabulous ocean view Seascape Resort unit offers fantastic accommodations, privacy and close proximity to the beach, swimming pool, spa, restaurants and shops! The home has been renovated and offers a beautifully relaxing, beachy ambience for our guests to enjoy a beach resort getaway.
The open downstairs floor plan features a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils and basic pantry items. The roomy dining area offers seating for six with ocean views! The comfortable living area features a gas fireplace, flat screen TV, sofa seating for 6+, a pull-out queen sized bed, and a fabulous balcony with ocean, white sand, and eucalyptus forest views. Because our beach condo is on the northernmost wing of the resort, it offers unparalleled privacy. Unlike most other units at Seascape, your views are not encumbered by looking at other units. An updated half bathroom completes the downstairs.
Upstairs includes a fabulous master suite with a 2nd balcony, guest bedroom, 2nd full bath and laundry. The master suite features a plush king-size bed, vaulted ceilings, flat screen TV, completely updated fully bathroom, and a private balcony with even better beach and ocean views from the third story. The guest bedroom is situated down the hallway, with the bathrooms and laundry room separating the bedrooms for maximum privacy. This bedroom features a plush queen-size bed, flat screen TV and two large windows with fantastic views of the ocean and swimming pool. The upstairs includes a completely updated 2nd full bathroom for exclusive use of the 2nd bedroom, along with a washer/dryer closet for guest use.
This beach condo is located on the North Bluff of Seascape Resort, which has its own convenient access to the beach (about 100 stairs down the bluff to the sand). The North Bluff has its own swimming pool and hot tub, with a spacious pool deck complete with ocean views and many lounge chairs, table and chairs sets, and umbrellas. **As of October 2021, golf cart and towel service is no longer offered to guests of units booked through VRBO. If these amenities are vital to you, please book directly through the resort.**
There is plentiful parking adjacent to the building, including open underground parking with EV charging stations. A commercial ice maker and beverage vending machine are located in the garage for guests' convenience.
The North Bluff location is also extremely proximate to the restaurants and shops at Seascape Village. This charming retail complex includes several full service restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store, liquor store, hair salon, jewelry store, massage clinic, and many other amenities!
Seascape Resort has its own fantastic onsite restaurant and bar ("Sanderlings") with stunning ocean views, which is a short walk from our beach condo. There are two additional swimming pools located at the resort, along with firepits, sitting areas, ramp access to the beach, and cliffside walking trails.
The advantage of booking this beach condo with us is that you will enjoy the actual unit shown in our photos. Guests booking through Seascape Resort are not guaranteed a specific room, and instead will be assigned a room from a pool of available units that vary widely in terms of condition, decor, location and view!

We had a beautiful Family weekend To end our summer vacation We brought our kids with us ranging in age 7-15 And they all had a blast. The property is beautiful, and the condo was exactly as listed. The views from both patios were perfect. And the sound of the waves crashing at night was exactly what I wanted.
everything was in perfect working condition with zero complaints. Bonus for comfortable beds!
The walk down to the beach is a little bit of a workout, but truly worth it!!
We will be returning!

This is a wonderful condo in a beautiful oceanfront resort. The location is very easy to find, and the checkin/checkout process couldn't be simpler. Everything is just as good or better than pictured in the listing. Our family of five loved our stay here, and the condo worked perfectly for our needs. The location is situated directly in between some great destinations. We flew into San Francisco, spent a night there, and then drove to Big Basin and Henry Cowell State Parks on the way. We drove to Monterey 3 different days for the aquarium, Cannery Row, and a whale watching tour out of Fisherman's Wharf. The condo is only 20-30 minutes south of some beautiful Redwoods at Henry Cowell, and about 40 minutes or so north of everything Monterey has to offer. This specific condo is very private, and the grounds are well kept and secure, with visible security guards in the nights/evenings. We travel to a lot of different destinations, but if we returned to this area we would definitely stay here again.

The condo was immaculate on arrival. The owner puts a lot of TLC in to the maintenance. All appliances, bathrooms and interior fixtures worked flawlessly. The location as advertised provides a stunning ocean view from exterior balcony off the living room. Great for morning coffee and quiet time. My family loved this place.We found the tennis courts in great shape. Played Seascape Golf Club nearby. In terrific condition. Everyone wants to come back next year.

We spent the weekend at Seascape with friends from our neighborhood and family members- we all booked at the resort and met up at the beach and on the lawns for evening sunsets! It was beautiful weather and such a great location. Beach games and BBQs and lots of smiles.

I loved the blackout curtains in the bedrooms and the living room, made it easy for everyone to get enough sleep.
If I had one complaint, it would be that the king sized bed was really uncomfortable & hard.

This was a beautiful property and very comfortable for my family to stay in. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean linens and towels. The owners were communicative and made the check-in process very easy. We did have trouble with the pool key not working, however it sounds like other families were having the same problem so it was likely an issue with the pool gate.
I highly recommend this property for a comfortable stay with beautiful ocean views! I will definitely stay here again in the future.

This place is great. Right on the edge of the property with lots of trees swaying in the distance. Furniture is super comfy and everything is well stocked. I would def stay here again.

It was good. We have stayed at Seascape and switched because of a massive price increase. We were happy to save money, but it made us yearn for our regular accommodations.
The written materials in the room were OFTEN WRONG! Need to be updated.
Fireplace did not work. Toilet paper holder in downstairs bath was broken off. No tissues in any bathrooms.

The appartment is situated on a lovely resort at a very quiet spot. We were able to sleep with the balcony door open so we could hear the sea! All windows and doors are equipped with mosquito nets so no bugs inside.
Very spacious living and bedrooms. Everything worked perfectly and was spotless. Very nice touch was the provided coffee and condiments.
Location is between Santa Cruz (30 minutes) and Monterey (55 min).
We'll be back!

What a joy to stay in this welcoming lovely home with all the amenities to make a week-long family reunion the best. Lots of meals, hot tubs, swimming, walking, schmoozing in one of our favorite places in California.

We could see the ocean from the primary bedroom and the living room and there was a path right down to the water. It was a lovely surprise. We will 100% be coming back here.

This is a great place for a relaxed vacation and this condo was really quite nice. Mostly positives, and few items that need fixing.
First - the resort itself if not really a resort, so know that you are renting a place and manage your expectations accordingly. The pool nearest to the unit is nice, but they don't keep it very clean - the surface of the water is always covered with bugs. But the pool area is lovely and has an ocean view. The rest of the property is very nice - but is definitely more of a condo situation, not a hotel like situation. The main pool is not really open and the onsite restaurant is often closed. The trip to and from the beach is a long path with many many many steps, not ideal, but doable as long as you are not in poor health. There is not resort presence on the beach, so plan to be on your own and bring what you need. It's a hike!
The condo unit itself. Very clean which I really like. Nicely decorated and in good shape. The kitchen has most of what you might need, but do bring anything you want - only the very basics are provided. There are many towels provided - they are very hotel looking and some of them are old and need replacing. The beds are very comfortable - the pillows however are few and flat - next time I would bring my own. The bathrooms - mostly updated except for the showers which are really old and likely the originals from when the place was first built - definitely in need of some serious updating.
One issue - if Air Conditioning is important to you - know that the AC barely works and does not really cool the place. We found that in the afternoons, when the sun is shining in - it can get really really hot. The night cools the place down - but I would prefer that the place had AC to cool us down. Thankfully, we brought a fan which was helpful for sleeping.
The views from the unit are really gorgeous. Because the unit is on the edge of the property, it does feel quite private - and watching the deer every day made this extra special. Parking was right in front of the door and so easy. As for the surrounding area - the shops across the street are only open on certain days, grocery is soooo expensive, and chinese and mexican restaurants are closed on Mon, Tues, and often Wed.

Overall - we had a really lovely time and we would definitely return. Loren was quick to respond and a very good host.

This is a very nice property at a wonderful resort. The condo is nicely decorated and comfortable and has everything you need. I especially loved being able to leave the balcony doors open at night to sleep to the sounds of the ocean! Best sleep I've had in a long time.
The resort is beautiful with a great bluff over the ocean for walks, 3 pools, the beach itself, a restaurant and bar, and is just across the street from some restaurants and a market.
I definitely recommend a stay here.

The resort was good - thank heavens they had restaurants on site as it was fairly isolated - Monterey is a 25 minute drive.
The beach is down a long sandy path but worth the walk - we had a fire on the beach and watched the sunset - good times!
There is a grocery store, package store, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall - a great experience - only draw back - two sets of stairs to get to condo and another set inside to get to bedrooms.
