Our family of 5 enjoyed staying here enormously. It’s perfectly located for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Just stunning. We were sad to leave and wished we had stayed longer.

Was a place to rest as we explored Sequoia NP. Great location with easy access to the park. Home was inviting and comfortable. Would easily be a place to stay for longer periods and Three Rivers was a interesting place to visit

Super clean, decorated nicely, and excellent attention to detail! After a long day exploring the national parks, it was a welcome surprise to come back to a basket of snacks and a bottle of wine! The views in the morning were an added bonus! Sitting area out back was private and a great place to drink coffee. AC was nice and cold in the 112 degree heat. 10/10!

Family vacation to Sequoia NP. The property was clean and plenty of room for 6 adults. The views from the front porch were beautiful. The backyard area was nice and quiet to sit outside for dinner.
The kitchen was stocked with essentials as we cooked all meals. The snack basket left by host was a lovely touch. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms clean and liked it had shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner dispenser in shower. Great place to stay. Will recommend property to others.

We loved the house. It was in a beautiful location. Close to the park and a little town if you need something. We used the kitchen to cook our own food and it had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were so nice to have. This stop was in the middle of our vacation and this allowed us to pack less. We would stay again if we come back to the area.

We stayed two nights and visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Convenient location to entrance and to the services in town. Fully stocked with everything we need and more! The welcome snacks and wine were a nice touch. Communication was great and the house was depicted accurately. We enjoyed our meals on the deck enjoying the views and peaceful surroundings! If we’re ever back we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Thank you!!!

This property meet all of our needs. The property was well-maintained.
The full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - dishes, pans, salt & pepper, incidental cooking supplies. Appliances were full size. Coffee maker, blender, refrigerator were all clean and ready to use. The gas grill on the patio was spotless and had gas!
The three bedrooms all had comfortable queen beds. Bathrooms included shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer.
Communication with Mark was over-the-top excellent! He kept us well-informed regarding park access. The advance information on groceries, gas and restaurants was most helpful.
The living room is spacious. The dining table seats six comfortably.
We did not have an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor areas, but they looked like a good place to relax.

This property was the best of both worlds. Very private yet only a few minutes from town and Sequoia National Park. Home is located on the side of a hill for extraordinary views. The home was spotless and very well appointed with all supplies. Communication with our host was excellent.

Feels removed but still close to the park! Had all amenities and it was a super comfortable stay as a family with a three year old and a 1 year old.

A great place to stay close to the National Parks. Flawless check-in process, very clean, perfect for a family. My favorite was coffee on the front porch.

It is much better than the pics! The place is spotless and cozy with delightful treats. We got beautiful star night and mountain view, I would like to stay there for a week if I had time. Highly recommend!

Excellent property - spent only one night (alas didn't have more) with our son and his two children. The grandkids loved the place. Everything was great: the place was clean, it had everything we needed, we didn't even get a chance to take advantage of some of the amenities (outside grill, fireplace, TV). Communication with the owner was great too.

Beautiful, clean, roomy house with a spectacular view. The house is located a short drive away from 198. Perfect location to visit the sequoias. Dinning and stores nearby--however most stores are "mom & pop" type so I suggest if you are able to get groceries in Visalia (town before Three Rivers), do so as the shopping hours, prices and selection are MUCH better.
The only thing this place is missing is a pool to make it perfect. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay.

My parents and I brought my kids to see Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Park. This was a great home base for our adventures and had everything we needed. The yard was an added bonus for my kids to play in; lots of birds for fellow birdwatchers too!

We stayed at In the Oaks for a few days while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP’s. I can not recommend this place enough! It was quite, clean, with beautiful views and you can not beat the distance to the NP. We unfortunately visited during the time that General’s Hwy was closed due to damage which meant the long way around, but even that was not too bad at only about an hour to 90 minutes. But, with the south entrance open, it is only 5 minutes to the park entrance! The house was well cleaned, central air and heating, and a very useful washer and dryer! The kitchen was well stocked and the snacks were definitely appreciated after a long day of hiking. More than comfortably fit my two kids and both of us. If we visit the NP’s again, we will definitely try to book Mark’s place again. Mark was very informative, shared different tricks and recommendations, and kept us up to date on the park closures. He is a great host and we look forward to staying with him again.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Oaks. Not only was the scenery around us amazing, the house was super clean. There was plenty of space for all of us. There was enough supplies to make for within the home. It was in a great location, and Mark was beyond helpful!

After a long day of driving curvy mountain roads, we were able to relax once we arrived at In the Oaks. Beautiful views and clean and comfortable house. We were only there for one night as we had another day of driving to our next destination but we’d stay here again if ever in the area.

The property is in a tranquil place with wonderful views and the house was just superb. The host was generous in provisioning the house and we wanted for nothing; we walked in to a happy place and were comfortable and able to relax. It is in easy reach of the Sequoia National Park and Three Rivers had places to eat and a well stocked supermarket. We loved it and recommend it thoroughly.

Mark was a great host and effectively communicated along the booking and stay. We do hope to return to enjoy the Sequoias as the "atmospheric river" denied access to the park. Mark however, provided us with great hike and hospitality options.

It was super easy to check in and very close to sequoia. The place was clean and ready for us. Nothing to complain about. It comes down to aesthetics. If you like the look/feel of the place, the location is great (secluded but not too much), and the view is great.

The property was just as described and was clean and comfortable. The deck was great for watching the sunset. Kitchen was well stocked. Check-in was easy. Thanks for letting us stay at your great place and we would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Its an amazing place to stay -- The house is very clean, in great location, and has everything we need and a lot more. Its a home away from home. Mark's welcome kit touched us, and he prepared the maps and information to help us to get around easily. We had a great time and Mark is one of the best hosts. If I get a chance to visit there again, I will definitely stay in Mark's property! Thanks Mark!

This house is so convenient to the park. Great front porch and backyard. Very comfortably accommodates three couples, although two couples would need to share a bathroom. Mark was incredibly helpful in advance of our stay and checked in via email while we were there.
Kitchen is well outfitted but if you plan to cook, bring your own spices.
Beds were really comfortable and the mini split air conditioning is terrific! The four units keep the whole place cool. Would stay again!

We had a restful and relaxing one night stay "in the oaks". The house is very comfortably furnished, beautifully decorated, well internet connected, and super temperature controlled (something we very much appreciated in the warm summer temps)! Our host was very easy to communicate with and we appreciated the welcome snacks and bottle of wine! The beds were very comfortable and baths well appointed with fluffy towels. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us!
