About this house rental
Visit the magic of Annapolis during the Thanksgiving and Holiday Season
This is a unique home like none other in downtown Annapolis. Originally the Eastport Volunteer Fire Company, founded in 1864, Eastport native Art Tuers joined the company in 1949 at the age of 16. The largest fires Tuers and the dozen or so other active volunteers battled were at the Carvel Hall Hotel in 1961, in the building which was later restored as the William Paca House!
Located across the Annapolis harbor, the "Maritime Republic of Eastport" offers unique views of the Naval Academy, the Chesapeake Bay and the Annapolis Marina. Located a short walk from the home is "Eastport Restaurant Row", serving up fresh seafood along with great steakhouses, it’s the perfect place to get away from the bustle of downtown. It’s also one of the only areas where you can dine right alongside the water, enjoying a great meal while catching the sun dipping behind Annapolis.
When entering the home on the first floor, you will be welcomed by the original brick floors in the foyer mudroom. Take the wooden staircase up to the second floor where you will find the 9-foot ceilings over the open kitchen, dining and family room which opens onto a fully-furnished screened-in porch with a gas fireplace. In addition to the living space, the 2nd floor has 2 En Suite bedrooms: the Master features its own large balcony facing the quiet neighborhood street. To find the living sleeping space on the first floor, either walk down the spiral staircase from the family room or enter from the garage door off the 1st floor entrance. The 1st floor has a full living/bedroom space with a queen bed, sleeper sofa and full bath and a 2nd living space/rec room with a kitchenette in the garage.
All 3 living spaces have big-screen TVs; all bedrooms have their own TV.

The Firehouse was perfect for our long weekend with the family. It was clean, tastefully furnished, and with a well-equipped kitchen. Excellent location - 20 minute walk to downtown Annapolis. Our host was highly responsive to our questions. Thank you for a great time!

We loved this home. Location is amazing in a quiet Eastport neighborhood, with multiple excellent dining choices within a 2-4 block walk. The home is clean and beautiful inside, with everything that we needed for our 4 day stay included. Communication with the host from initial reservation to final checkout was quick and very complete. We highly recommend this property and will stay here again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were only in town for the weekend, but we could definitely see staying here longer. We visit Annapolis several times a year, and the firehouse is now on our list of great places to stay. Sean and Melissa from iTrip responded to messages quickly, and check-in was seamless.
The interior design is beautiful and well-done. The main room is large and can easily accommodate a group for gathering, games, movie watching, etc. The downstairs/main floor room + living space is great for creating privacy when needed--maybe another adult/couple, or maybe a place for kids to do their own thing. The enormous garage space, which is accessible from the lower room, also has been converted to a hang out space. The screened-in porch is also comfortable when the temperature cooperates. So plenty of room for different groups to do their own thing while all being together without feeling like you're on top of one another. And when you want to explore, there is plenty of fun within walking, biking, or water taxi distance.

Small from the outside but huge on the inside. Easy access to restaurants, water taxi, and all Annapolis has to offer. Loved the house.

I stayed at this property for a family wedding this last weekend with 5 other adult family members. The original spot we booked fell through last second and I found this unique property. It fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of space. Everything was clean. The outdoor sitting areas were an added bonus. Plenty of parking. And the location in relation to downtown were perfect. I’d definitely stay here again.

Spent a week at the Firehouse and loved it!
The house is really lovely, spacious, well-equipped, and the host is incredibly responsive. We loved the location and neighborhood and the fact that the house is dog friendly was a big plus for us since we traveled with our 2 little dogs! The neighborhood is incredibly dog friendly and we loved that we could walk to several restaurants. A big hit and we had a great visit.

We loved staying at your place- it was just perfect. Great location and great space for us to visit with our Mid and friends. Bedrooms and bathrooms and all the amenities were perfect. Great place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon yet convenient to walk places for lunch and dinner. Will definitely stay there again!

The location in Eastport has a lot of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. In addition historic Annapolis is a short 2miles away.
The home has a ton of character and was a great space to celebrate the holidays. Very roomy and located in a charming neighborhood.
Awesome communications by the host.

What an amazing home. This was the perfect house to stay and enjoy family time with my two sons that are at the naval academy. We would love to rent this house again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Annapolis Firehouse! The house was clean and comfortable with two great porches to relax on. We especially enjoyed the open air front porch with easy access from the master bedroom. We spent three nights at the home during the sailboat show and the location was perfect to walk to local Eastport coffee shops and restaurants and was also an easy walk to downtown. We traveled with our two dogs and although there is no yard at the house, the neighborhood is very dog friendly with little pocket parks nearby and well lit sidewalks. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home would be a great place to stay with other couples as everyone would have their own spaces. We will definitely stay at the Firehouse again when we visit Annapolis!

We enjoyed our stay at this property on a recent trip to Annapolis to visit our midshipman. We had six adults staying for Labor Day weekend and LOVED the kitchen and living room area for family meals, family games, watching football and movies. It is a perk to have an onsite garage for the car. The property layout is unusual because it is a former firehouse, so you have a second living area and kitchen that is part of the garage (but VERY clean!) and one of the non-master bedrooms is private but doesn't have a door on a connecting stairwell to the family room. These are workable things and add in to the very cool historic building. The location of this property is in a residential neighborhood and I felt safe going for walks every day of our stay. It is about a 15 minute walk to Main Street or the Naval Academy and we did it several times for shopping or to picnic with our mid on the Yard. There are several great restaurants within a couple of blocks from the property. We would definitely stay at the property again.

This rental was perfect. We travel a lot and this was, by far, the cleanest rental we’ve ever found. So much to love - very comfortable, good location, and adorable. We will definitely be back.

This is our second time staying and it did not disappoint. Great location and very clean. It's not recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to the flight of stairs when you first enter the home. We'll be back!

My family thoroughly enjoyed the Annapolis Firehouse. We stayed for Commissioning Week 2023. The location was easily walkable to DTA and the Academy. We found that we were always able to find street parking. The home it self was very fun, comfortable for family members who joined us and well appointed. Appliances were high end. The shower in the master bathroom is amazing! We appreciated the extra fridge in the garage which we used to store beverages and meat. There was a grill which we pulled out onto the driveway to grill burgers and steaks. We hosted a small grad party with a charcuterie on the island on the kitchen. All of our guests commented on the fun location. The BEST part of our stay was the kind neighbors on either side who took time to greet us and even attended our party. My only suggestion for improvement would be hangers in the closets.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Firehouse. House was clean and well setup for multiple couples. Great location in East Port. Will stay there again.

We stayed for a long weekend with 5 adults (me, wife, 2 adult children + 1 significant other). The separate ground floor room was perfect for our son (27) and his girlfriend. The house is well maintained and convenient to all Annapolis attractions. Highly recommended for an extended family or a few couples.

The Firehouse conversion was very well done. The areas are open and user friendly. Everything was well maintained and clean. One hint. There is only a Keurig coffee machine so bring a coffee maker or French Press if that's your preference. (Last stay there was a traditional coffee maker.)

You have a very quaint place and we enjoyed staying there. Here are a couple of things you may need to address:
1. The inside temp of the second floor remained at 78 degrees. Experimenting with the thermostat never altered the temp during our time there and fortunately the weather was not oppressive. The ceiling fans helped but we should have been able to adjust the thermostat.
2. We are coffee drinkers, in fact I grind beans every morning, so would have appreciated a 12 cup coffee maker...we survived the Keurig method but somewhat time consuming...a good tool for single people and students.
3.We had to bring the toaster oven up from the first floor, no big deal but could not locate a toaster.
3.As far as the TV in the main living area we could not make it work. We all have technology in our homes and sometime even our own home TVs are a puzzle but your TV has something goin on. During the time we attempted locate news network or even a movie the TV would simply shut of or go dark...
4. Lastly- on a personal level I would enjoy seeing and reading more about the history of the fire station...maybe some old historic photos.
Of course these are not big critical issues so please don't sweat it, we liked staying there and we would consider staying there in the future.

The Firehouse was clean, spacious, and comfortable . Many of the homes we have rented in the past lacked adequate sitting and lounging space. We were in town with family and the sectional crunch , spacious kitchen, and outdoor porches gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy each other’s’ company. Very clean, easy to communicate with. This is high on our list of top homes in Eastport.

We got together at the Firehouse rental in Eastport for Christmas; 5 adults. It’s a fantastic, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of historic Annapolis. The large living room had plenty of comfortable seating, the kitchen was equipped with top quality appliances (we love to cook), and everyone slept well. We only wish the weather had been warmer so we could’ve enjoyed the gorgeous sun porch and balcony off of the master bedroom. We’ll definitely come back and stay next time we’re in town.

The Firehouse is a very nice property within walking distance of Main St. in Annapolis in a quiet neighborhood only a few short blocks to the water in either direction.
The house is bigger and better appointed than is shown in the pictures and we were surprised with its spaciousness and the quality of everything there.
The kitchen is quite roomy, but could benefit from some additional equipment, notably, a few bigger pots, a hand held mixer and a blender. We cooked T-giving dinner there and were able to get the job done with additions from my son's and daughter's homes near by. If you don't plan to cook much or for a bigger group, the equipment there is more than adequate.
The house is pet friendly, but the central stairs could benefit from a runner which would make it easier for larger dogs (and humans!) to traverse.
With all that said, we were quite comfortable there and the communication with the management company was first class.
We highly recommend The Firehouse!

The firehouse is incredibly welcoming and wonderful. Beautifully designed and furnished. The pictures don't do it justice! We really enjoyed the kitchen, family room and porches. The master shower is amazing!
iTrip was great to work with and over the top helpful in making the arrangements. We're already planning a future stay, and I would definitely stay at one of their other places.
Great experience from beginning to end!

My family and I stayed at the Firehouse for the month of August. Upon first entering the home you could tell it was taken care of with comfort and coziness in mind. Every room was warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of good quality. There was a big screen TV in every room. There was also ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. The master bath and shower were great and there was a bonus deck off of the master bedroom. It was a lovely place to have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evenings. The living room had great lighting and comfortable couches to curl up on. There was also a lovely screened in back porch with ceiling fan and for the cooler months a heater. As the porch is on the second floor you feel as if you are in the trees with the birds. It is a very serene spot to read and relax listening to the birds.
The location of the Firehouse was great. It is located in a quiet neighborhood yet just a short walk over the bridge into Annapolis. There were plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Just a short drive away there are lovely parks and a very nice community pool. I will not hesitate to visit the area again and if I do I will most definitely try to book with The Firehouse.....One little criticism, I wish the kitchen had a blender, otherwise it was well equipped. Loved our stay at the Firehouse!

Unique Firehouse Well Done
The Firehouse was renovated using good design and quality. Everything needed is provided in the kitchen. The kitchen/living area is user friendly. There are enough areas to sleep and gather that even a larger group can have their own spaces. Parking was not a problem. (Something that is important in many areas of Eastport.) A great place to stay that is within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions.

We experienced a few problems, but the company rep responded to our concerns quickly. You couldn't ask for a better spot in town, easy to get around and close to the waterfront. Take the water taxi!
