About this house rental

Vanessa's chalet is a vacation rental that offers seclusion and privacy while exploring the blue ridge parkway and more. I love that while staying at the chalet you can enjoy seclusion and usually much needed relaxation time. We are located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in quaint Little Switzerland, NC. It is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Do not underestimate the need for a quite relaxing getaway and that is what you will get with our chalet.

Begin your day relaxing on the rocking chair on our porch. Relax and unwind after your adventures of the day next to the firepit while roasting marshmallows. At night, enjoy a moonlit walk and stunning view of the Milky Way.

We do have WiFi at the property. It is not the best due to being such a rural area. It will run a laptop just fine though.

If you would like an early check in or late check out please let me know. I will do my best to accommodate you.

The house is new and in great shape. Lovely, open, and quiet, feels as if you are a part of nature. And it is secluded but near amazing hikes and vistas. Owner was great, responsive and the rental details were clear. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay in the well appointed cabin. The view was great and the furniture was very nice. The cabin is near the end of the road so it is very quiet and seldom does any traffic go by.

The rains and the winds were fierce for 24 hours of our stay. Coco and Chanel (our Shih Tzus) and us ;pved every mnute, even if the cable was off or the electricity flickered!!! it is a romantic getaway, for sure. Day trips to the Biltmore and another to Lake Lure. Charming@!!!! We will be back when there is a King Size bed in the master!!!!!

This vacation home was our favorite place we've ever stayed at. It has a real cozy feel to it. It is very remote and quiet and is a great option if you want to get away from the world and unplug. Kitchen is very well appointed, with new appliances that make it very nice to cook in. Beds were comfortable, and the deck is amazing. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Rachell! This was a lovely home!

Owner was incredibly gifted in hospitality and customer service. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. She left us a note with a posey pot of wildflowers and a basket of s’mores fixings...such a special touch! The chalet is perfect...I could have stayed forever. You will not be disappointed with anything...the place is beautiful and serene.

This is a super clean, modern appliances, and beautiful property. Perfect getaway for my wife, daughters and I. When looking out, you cannot see another sign of human life. nothing but trees and mountains. We were able to drive to Banner Elk with ease for the day from here. We will come back in the warmer months.

We had a wonderfull week staying here. We enjoyed a couple of very hard hikes that are close to the property. The Chalet is very clean and setup for a comfortable stay. The secluded location and deck view is amazing. Thanks for everything Rachell.
