About this house rental
Peaceful mountain home nestled into the North Carolina mountains. Five acres of tree-covered space with short trails to on site stream and woods. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for relaxation and fun.
The space
Three bedroom home that sleeps 10 (two Queen beds/one King bed/bunk beds and a Queen pull out sofa sleeper).
5 acres with walking path to stream and into the woods, and great sunset and mountain view.
*Walking in wooded areas with steep inclines is at your own risk.
Kitchen is complete with dishes/silverware/appliances/cookware/utensils

Security gates for stairs
LIVING ROOM AND DINING:
Roku and Visio televisions
Indoor dining for 11 (8 at table and 3 at counter)
Outdoor dining for 8 on deck with gas grill
Games, puzzles and small library of books for children and adults

* Shop and eat at Spruce Pine (12 minute drive)
* Penland School of Crafts - America's oldest and largest craft school
* Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway
* Hike Linville Falls and Crabtree Falls
* Kayaking/canoeing
* Mayland Bare Dark Sky Observatory and Planetarium
* Horseback riding
* Golf at Grassy Creek Golf Club
* Swimming at Brad Ragan Park
* National Mineral Museum
* Fishing near by (confirm with local authorities for the proper license)
WINTER STAYS:
We recommend an AWD or Four Wheel drive vehicle. Access is limited in winter due to private road and driveway are not regularly plowed.
