About this house rental
Ideally located on iconic Alii Drive directly where the world famous Iron Man takes place annually.
A number of palm trees and local landscaping on the front and side of the property add to the tropical appeal.
Nearby are many of Kona's enviable attractions including its famed beaches, surf spots, golf, restaurants and much more.
Almost midway between Kailua-Kona and Keauhou, this two story (plus roof deck), three bedroom, three bath home has the added benefit of two separate living areas. The home is one unit but each level can be separated, if desired, by a door.
Each level is equipped with a stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer and an outdoor space.
From the second level and open roof deck, views of the nearby ocean can be enjoyed, while the roof deck with seating and BBQ provides a great venue for relaxed viewing of Kona's famous sunsets and hinterland that includes Mt Hualalai.
Right out the front door of the lower level, there is a covered seating area, complete with a hammock for relaxing in the sunshine.
Please keep in mind that the famed Alii Drive offers beautiful views and is the "Main Street " of the town, with that does come vehicular noise.
There is a two car carport as well as a paved parking area for two more cars at the front of the home.
After a day at the beach, there is an outdoor shower area to rinse off the sand.
Please note that the water (showers, sinks, etc.) only gets pleasantly warm, not hot.
It is our policy to only host guests that have established profiles with reviews, this just helps us make sure that our house is a great fit for our guests.

The house was spacious and a perfect spot on Alii drive to host our large family for the weekend. Check in was quick, and we utilized the extra spaces. AC was provided throughout the house, which was perfect for the hot Kona days! I would rent this house again, we just needed more linen for the pullout couch. Mahalo but loa!

We had an eight member family vacation July 8-15, 2023. During our stay, we had two questions we needed to ask the host and did so via email. The host's response was immediate! Very impressive and efficient.
Everything was even better than described. For example, we had no trouble getting nice hot water everywhere. The only difficulty was that some of the plumbing lines were crossed inside the walls so that what one would assume was for turning on the hot was cold instead. Minimal twist to rotating faucets was hot and maximum twist was cold.
There was sufficient beach equipment for every age. We had a rented pick-up truck we loaded up. Otherwise, we are not sure we could have carried it all, even to the beach across the street. Our granddad did not believe the ad saying 99 steps to the beach, so he counted his walk = 90 steps!
Thank you, hosts!

Staying here was like home. The kitchen is well equipped for folks who like to cook. The location was perfect for our visit to Hawaii.
There are good walking trails, access to beaches, snorkeling and historical sites. We found good restaurants close by.
We started the day on the root top patio having out coffee, stretching, and doing yoga. We spent hours on the patio late afternoons into early evenings.

We were traveling with 5 teenagers and 3 adults so it was great to have a place with so much room. Everyone had plenty of space to stretch out in. I also loved having so much light with all the windows. The beginning of the trip was a little rocky with my daughter falling down some stairs and badly spraining her foot and then a stopped up toilet that caused quite a mess but then it smoothed out and we had a great time. I should add that the toilet was our fault but we didn't know how tricky the toilets are in Hawaii. The house was located close to beaches and also places to eat and a grocery store which we liked. Communication was pretty good with the manager but occasionally it took a long time which was frustrating when we needed new towels after the bathroom disaster. The plumbers came as soon as possible, though, and did an absolutely fantastic job of cleaning up the mess. Overall a good experience here.

The house was much larger than we had expected but was perfect for the amount of people we had. Plenty of room for everyone so you never felt like you were crowded or anyone under foot. The house was well stocked for 2 kitchens so cooking was not an issue. The owners were very helpful and attentive at all times.
Mahalo, we loved our stay.

Great location as a base for traveling to the beautiful beaches near Kona. The home is well maintained, nicely decorated and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Communication with the host was good. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing experience staying here during the Ironman World Championships. The house was spacious enough to easily accommodate our party of six and provide enough room for friends to join us on race day. The beach cruiser bikes included in our rental made it easy and convenient to get downtown and the close proximity to beaches kept my children happy. Great home, perfect location.

great location
We loved the location, layout, and amenities provided with the home. The upstairs/downstairs split gave the kids their own sense of place, and the rooftop deck was a great place to watch the sunrise and the stars at night

Celebrating a Big Anniversary!
This house was a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary with our adult kids and spouses. The six of us had a great stay, each couple had their own space and the great room was excellent for our whole family. The rooftop was lovely for the dinners we ate at the house. Excellent place for our week together!

Wonderful place, close to town, and well stocked!
We had a lovely stay - it was comfortable, and well provisioned for our group of 6. Perfect for couples - a private room, bed and bath for each, and so ace to relax without crowding each other.
It’s also incredibly well stocked with spices, cooking utensils, games, coolers for day tripping and beach supplies (towels, chairs, umbrellas, boards, etc), just bring the food!
We would definitely stay again if we found ourselves on the Big Island!

Fantastic Stay for a larger group
We had a party of 6 adults and found this property to be perfect for our needs. Ample space for everyone to spread out and great communal areas for when we wanted to come together. We loved watching the sun set from the roof top deck and walking over to the secret beach. Set just outside of town, this was a quiet rental while still super close to the downtown area and attractions. This made a great home base for us while we explored the island. Zane was super responsive to any questions we had and was always pleasant and courteous. Can’t wait to come back!

Hawaii Trip
House was great. We enjoyed the roof patio and the upstairs living room quite a bit. 99 steps beach was good for sunset watching, but magic sands down the road a bit was better for a traditional beach experience.

Kona Home
We had a very excellent stay. Zane was very easy to work with and responded to all our questions in a timely manner. The house was well set up for our stay, even with one of the refrigerators out of order due to a needed part. We recommend this home as being well located in Kona.

Would Stay Again!
Excellent, well stocked, clean, and beautiful stay! Though we received our check-in information late, the host was quick to respond and accommodating! A little pricey, however, perfect for large groups! Would 10/10 recommend!

Great spot in Kona!
This was our last stop on our island hopping honey moon and it did not disappoint. Located perfectly on Ali road. The roofdeck was the perfect view spot for Konas sunsets. The house was comfortable and clean and certainly had plenty of space for me and my husband. Would highly recommend for your stay in Kona.

Perfect House in Heart of Kona
This was an amazing property! My husband and I and three elementary aged boys, along with my brother and his wife were incredibly comfortable in this perfectly located house. We could walk across the street to the beach access, although that one was a bit rocky and we would prefer to drive just a little down the way to the sandy beach. There was a cute open air market just beside us. We are perfectly situated close to many restaurants, definitely try the açai bowls at Basik Cafe! The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have seen in a VRBO. Added touches, like a coffee grinder so that you can grind up your newly purchased 100% Kona coffee beans are perfect! There are also 2 full kitchens, upstairs and downstairs, although we only needed one. The two washer dryer‘s were also very handy because we tend to use a lot of laundry with so many people!
I also was very grateful for the wonderful communication between the owner and myself. If you’re having any problems I know it would’ve been easy to reach out. Usually when I leave and vacation I am ready to go home, but this is once that I just wanted to stay. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The perfect house
From top to bottom, this house was incredible. Very friendly and responsive manager, very clean, great location, wonderful amenities including beach chairs and a cooler, and comfortable accommodations. There were three couples staying in the house and we all had plenty of room for ourselves and to come together. Kitchens were very well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the roof--we grilled up there while watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Would definitely come back.

This is a must stay on historic Alii Drive!Well maintained inside and out, refreshingly clean, updated and well stocked with everything you might need. It even has boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs with an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after a fun day at the beach. Each morning greeted us with a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed breakfast on the lower patio and evenings on the upper. It is a home away from home. We could not help think about bringing our extended families here. Three couples and a few of the grandchildren, it would accommodate all of us comfortably, with it’s two kitchens, two sets of washer and dryers, three bedroom and baths, large couch upstairs and the hide-a-bed couch downstairs! The little sandy beach across the street is tucked away and not very crowded. Great for kicking back and relaxing, it is especially perfect for families with young children. The cove is protected from the waves, at least when we were there, and ideal for worry free wading. Take note as you arrive onto the beach, head north, walk over some lava rocks, it is easy, and find the little path through the trees that lead to the sandy beach.Zane and Lexi were so helpful and you can see the pride they take in seeing that you have fun and caring that every detail is met maintaining their place.

A Hawaiin Paradise
We came with two couples to work for a week. This place is Aloha PERFECTION. From the Hawaiin music playing upon entry to the string lights on the rooftop deck to the extremely comfortable bed, it was a heavenly place to stay for our week in Hawaii. Zane was incredibly communicative, thoughtful with recommendations, and open to hearing feedback (as this was a new rental property). The location can't be beat. We will most definitely be back as soon as possible.

This is THE place to be!
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Kona, this is the place! It’s located on Ail’i drive which is the main stretch with many activities just a couple minutes from the house. Across the street there was a private beach that was perfect for a morning coffee or watching the sunset. The house itself was beautiful and built upon the feeling of peace and relaxation into the vacation. Our favorite part of the house was the rooftop deck, here we were able to enjoy great views of both sunrise and sunset. Not to mention a great place to enjoy your meals or relax with a mimosa while having a ocean view. Something that was also very appreciated was the quality of the bed, because as we all know, what’s a vacation without good and comfortable sleep and let me tell you, we have never slept better! I would highly recommend this house for your next visit to Kona, between the beautiful home and the host being very responsive and making the stay seamless, it can’t be beat!
