Location was great, and the room was cozy.
Easy parking.
Under the bed was still a little dirty, and someone didn't clean up after their dog on the beach.
4.5
Very quiet and relaxing spot. Able to watch and hear birds.
4.5
Great location and well maintained rooms
Rooms are relatively small if you travel With several people and much luggage

We love coming to Pier 450 and plan a trip every year (third time running). We love kayaking and paddle boarding and the free bikes. The food at the restaurant makes for a well rounded weekend! We think it is great value and not too expensive also!
We love the property

The location next to the water was incredible. My family loved we could kayak for free! Having the ability to walk less than a minute and be on the water was so special and exciting. The food at the restaurant was wonderful. I had the best crab cake of my life there! The ceiling fans, mini-split ac unit and beds added to the comfort of the stay. Rooms are decorated in a fun way and very clean.
We thought it would be helpful for our comfort to have a small dustpan and brush to clean up the sand that got on our entrance tile since that tile was also what we walked on when coming out of the bathroom. I also understand why hotel owners would avoid a room microwave, but we usually have one in our hotel rooms and use it frequently. We had dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night and wanted the leftovers the next day but couldn't heat them up ourselves. Fortunately, the restaurant staff kindly re-heated my daughters tenders and fries.

Wonderful rooms and location. Very relaxing.
We did have some ants in room. No iron.

Restaurant food really good for dinner. Breakfast choices minimal - wished there were a couple basic breakfast options like waffles or pancakes or bagels. Heater in room 6 makes lots of noises. Must be really nice when weather warms up
4.5
View of everything and very convenient location to go anywhere
The heating system could be a little bit better than having heat pump system..

room heater (cold)

Had a wonderful brunch. Amazing Bloody Marys and poached eggs done exactly right
Can't think of a thing

Location is stunning and restaurant has a fantastic menu and delicious food. Service is on the slow side, which wouldn’t have been an issue except that we had our 7 and 10 year olds with us and we needed the food to come a bit faster. All in all, though, this place is a gem.

Location and scenery was great.

I love the surrounding scenary!
There was a fly buzzing around the in the room and dining room, it kept landing on our food, that was quite annoying.
I also wish they serve breakfast

A gem of a spot in an area without much in the way of accommodations. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Having at least grab & go fruit and pastries for breakfast would be nice. (I did know they weren't available on site and should have grabbed something on my way in)

Beautifully decorated room, a perfect place to relax. We did not eat at the restaurant this trip but have in the past and it is very good.

Beds comfy, rooms were lovely, bathrooms very nice, outdoor areas were amazing. Beautiful sunsets.
Not close to a lot if you're looking to walk places. Fine for us though.

Breakfast at Cortney’s next door was amazing!!!
Would be great if there were screens on the doors. Because of the proximity to the water, there were flies that found there way into our room when we opened and shut the door.

Charming, uniquely decorated room, very pretty and comfortable, quiet and peaceful location, friendly staff
I overheard another guest get his room key code and was shocked that it was the same as mine! I reported it, but nothing was done. As a woman traveling alone this lack of security was very disturbing.
With nowhere nearby for breakfast or lunch, it was disappointiing to not be able to get a microwave in the room.

The footboard on the bed made it difficult for tall people to stretch out.

I like that it was a very quaint place
Room was way too small and there wasn't a microwave in the room

Nothing really maybe they could of had a shuttle service but everything was great

It was a cold windy weekend (we came for family celebration nearby) but the fire pits, beach and pier were lovely!
sadly restaurant was closed
only decaf Keurig coffee cups

Beautiful, clean and very quaint. Hotel staff was beyond great to us and available to help with anything. Great place and we can’t wait to go back.

unique property once a fishing camp now a boutique motel
not much sound proofing between rooms

It was very close to St. Mary's College which was very convenient for us. The place was very well updated and everything looked fresh. Staff was very available and responded to our issues promptly.
Since we picked a room with two beds, the room did feel a little crammed. Just an FYI if you are expecting any extra space, you'll need to pick a room with one bed.
4.5
Location and ease of check-in.
No response from staff when I texted them. No soap or shampoo.

The rooms are very well designed and beautifully decorated. The check in is easy. The restaurant is very good and the service there is outstanding.
The sheets were too small for the bed and one of the pillow cases had black marks on it. The shower curtain was gross and the bath, in general, was not as clean as I would have expected for the price. I think $209 per night is high for this.
4.5
Neat little place, and the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise.
Walls between the rooms must be very thin because we heard the couple next door very clearly during their energetic sexual activity -- lots of moaning and shouting during their cavorting. We turned on the bathroom fan to try to drown them out, haha!
