I like the way it looked especially the pool area, sometimes I would forget that I was on the 9th floor swimming outside.
The food was horrible.. and the $45 a day parking.

Facility and pool where great
Ok , well the staff and training on service on the culinary side needs to be fixed on the main floor restaurant and pool.
We have been here a few times and they can't seem to fix the main floor at all. Dinner and breakfast is just really bad.
I would recommend bringing in a restauranteur that understands food quality and service.
It's really bad. The roof top food is better but the staff lacks the ability to understand English and they need service training. I mean if this is the case daily and weekly, this place loses thousands a week because service and training on the F &B side isn't good.
The other issue is I notice that they basically use the same staff for pool and main floor. The issue is poor training just follows. Not a good idea. Need to hire now.

Location proximity to purpose of visit
No communication with Booking… I was told the room type I paid for did NOT exist. Paid upfront for breakfast and was told there was no record of my confirmation… billed for meal. Yet a confirmation for my stay… ???

We took a snack from the snack bar in the room- price said $ 8.00…but on the bill it was charged for $13.02. When front desk could nor explain the difference. After much ado, they credited the amount. Be aware of WRONG billing and charges.

The Staff

The breakfast was fine for the price. Nice vibe. The sausage was was unconventional as it seemed to be a spread rather than a patty or links.
My waitress hovered several times trying to take my plate before I was done. The place was nearly empty and i noticed that my seat was taken when I walked by 10 min after i left.
The big issue is that there is only one or two staff members visible on the entire property. I forgot my toothbrush -- and they had a replacement under lock and key. The lone staff member has to reach into a locked cabinet to get it -- but failed to let me know that he was doing so until i was leaving. Super nice guy and I do appreciate his effort. I prefer more staff.

Location and lighting
I didn't like the confusion of the self-parking. It's unnecessarily expensive
Beverages tasted terrible. Bar tenders needs more training.

Shower had mold. The glass shower door could not open outward, so turning on the water came onto the user. The bathroom door itself could not close. I told staff about this. They only fixed the glass door and gave an apology, but that’s all. Disappointing given the service expected at a diner hotel.

Service was excellent! Staff were pleasant and always looking to assist. Food at the restaurant was great! Breakfast being included was a pleasant surprise and amazing options for all of us. Would highly recommend this place!

Waited an hour to check- the lobby was full of people, they had no rooms ready. Went to the bar while we waited. The employees behind the bar were gossiping and cursing. They complained about their manager. When the room was ready- there was hair left in the restroom. Tried to order food- was told ovens were broken. Not a great first day.
Rooftop bar was nice and bartender was great.

comfortable beds, quiet room
Terrible service. We tried three times in 2 days to get a drink at one of the bars. One in the lobby was closed and did not open until 5 pm. They sent us across the way to the sports bar and we sat at the bar for 10 minutes and no bar tender appeared. Later that evening we tried to get a drink in the lobby bar and waited 15 minutes to get a drink and then gave up and went to our room. Three missed sales opportunities.
in addition the coffee system in the room is awful. Pour hot water over small open “tea” bags filled with coffee??!

Location Location! Used Uber to get around - Safe area. Whole Foods, McCray Taverns , Einstein’s Bagel and other restaurants are within a very short walk from hotel. Hotel has several restaurants on-site but I didn’t have a chance to eat there.

The room was great, spacious suite.
I arrived at the hotel at 1pm to check in and was told to wait and that my suite would be ready soon. I didn't get to go into my room until 6:30pm, which messed up a lot of my plans for the afternoon and evening. Garbage.
