shhhhhh! don't tell anyone about this hidden gem!!!

what a hidden gem this place is 😍 I love the views from the room and all the amenities are up-to-date and the room is so clean ✨✨✨ we really enjoyed staying in this room :) highly recommend!!!

Truly amazing all round !!

Absolutel loved staying here and we will probably be back. The local recommendation were great too

The location, ease of space and meeting the hosts. The view was incredible, bed super comfy and nice spacious bathroom. The little kitchenette was great for our needs.

Could have stayed a week but we were travelling north

Beautiful site. Very well thought out apartment. Exquisitely clean and very very comfortable. Lovely atmosphere and great facilities.

This was our second stay and may book again in 2 weeks if available.

Lovely and clean. Comfortable bed with lovely linen. Great views and nice quiet location.

A comfy armchair would be good.

Gorgeous apartment attached to the main house but totally private, better than any motel.

Location was excellent and an incredible view.

Wifi was a little intermittent but totally understandable in rural NZ.

Beautiful outlook

It was very cute because we greeted by a young boy and a lovely dog Absolutely beautiful outlook

Not so much didn't like but would be inconvenient during a downpour is having to get out of the car to open and close the gate. Not so bad when the weather is fine but would be different when it's cold and wet

Great place - highly recommended

Very clean & comfortable with great views. Veronique, Coco and Loki are very friendly. I would stay here again when I have to be in WHANGAREI; is only a 15 minute drive into WHANGAREI but I rather stay in peaceful country setting than in a run of the mill hotel.

All good for me - if I had a long term stay I would like a very comfortable chair to sit inside & outside.

Beautiful room and space, lovely views and very comfortable. I didn’t realise it was attached to the main house - not an issue but nice to know in advance of booking. We left some shoes there and the host posted them for us, thanks very much for this!!

Aircon wasn’t working and I got back too late to ask the host about it. It was quite a hot night. Some communication breakdown around the early check in I asked for, sorted out in the end but a little stressful on the day of a wedding we were attending, driving straight there from Auckland so being unsure if we could check in first or not.

Fabulous stay

Beautiful view, great room, welcoming hosts.

Couldn’t get the air conditioner to work, but we’re able to cool the room down with fans and opening windows. We didn’t ask for help from the hosts as we arrived late.

Good location for a stopover when heading north. Panoramic views. Two beautiful dogs.

It was a bit isolated. Difficult to get an evening meal on a Monday.

Quiet location, spectacular views and exceptionally well appointed rooms. Welcoming host too.

VIEWS TO UNWIND is located well off state highway 1, up in the hills with a spectacular view to Whangarei Heads ad the sea. It’s a beautiful location and the rooms are exceptionally well appointed and comfortable. You have everything you need for a comfortable /memorable stay

No comment here. This is one of the most comfortable stays we have had in NewZealand.

Perfect, Pleasant, Private.

It was extremely clean and tidy, we loved the view and the facilities were amazing. Our hosts were very helpful throughout our stay and we would highly recommend this to anyone.

Lovely self contained unit. Very comfortable stay.

Location not the best for exploring general Whangārei area, but would be great if you wanted to explore south (Ruakaka/ Waipu).

Excellent location, stunning views! Very accommodating with our late check-in. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Friendly reception on arrival - even Coco the beautiful dog greeted us with a warm welcome.
