I loved the service and cleanliness—warm environment, aesthetically pleasing.
Only complaint would be the location because of the highway, BUT easily overcome because of high quality service and beautiful clean indoor environment.

Such a lovely little inn! Our bedroom was comfortable with an extra sitting room and bathroom with an enormous shower. Breakfast in the sunny porch was delicious!
The floor above us was a bit creaky, but they provided us with a noise machine to drown out the “old house” noises. We also could have used another mirror in the room…maybe above the desk? The bathroom could use a towel bar and small shelf under the mirror.

Great location. Was easy to get to and close to everything. Rooms were large and comfortable. Everyone was very nice. I requested tea for the Keurig machine and it was there the next day. Breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast was fabulous. Garry and Mckenzie were great servers!
The only downside is the nightime traffic noise.

The breakfast was very very good, ate at Founders at the Shaffner. It was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much. The accommodations at the Summit Inn were wonderful. We enjoyed our Camel room so much. It was very spacious and beautiful. The shower was wonderful and very large. Loved sitting on the big front porch!
I would have loved access to ice. I had an ice bucket but no mention of ice. That would have been nice. And maybe a small fridge in the room.

The Inn is a beautifully restored historic Inn, as advertised. Very large and comfortable room. Breakfast was spectacular!
The room was not cleaned the second day, only "tidy'd up" Meaning, trash can emptied, and new hand towels. The third day, also not cleaned, dirty towels left on the floor, no new towels. I had to ask for clean bath towels both days and make my own bed. This is not what an expensive night at a hotel should provide. When I complained, someone came running with the towels, but one night was Sunday and no one was around. I had to email Eric and did not know if anyone would be there to help. Someone finally did bring towels, but What? Also we had initially booked another of the Historic Inns, which is part of this hotel group. We cancelled in time for a refund, but after two weeks had not received it. Had to go through booking.com to get it straightened out.

Loved the beauty of the building, inside and out. The Piedmont suite was divine. The jacuzzi was perfection. The shrimp and grits..the BEST. Gary, our waiter, everything and more!!

I was told I could check-in early, however, I arrived and they at the time could not bc the room wasn't ready. They tried to contact me but the third party app had my number wrong. They made accomodations for me and it was amazing. They were kind and thoughtful.
One thing is the closeness of the rooms, but that's a typical B and B. Its easy to hear your neighbor. I heard her blowdrying her hair for about 20 mins.

great location & kind staff. wonderful breakfast.
the property needs some updating. Our key wouldn’t work in our room door, they found one that would eventually however for 4 of us we only had one key. There were several bulbs out in our room, they changed these for us. it was also very hard to get hot water. maybe because we were in the lower level, you had to let it run for a long time. There wasn’t an individual thermostat in the room, the inn controlled the heating & air.

The breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. My wife enjoyed a breakfast mimosa. Overall, the food was fantastic.
Would have liked a wine tasting event instead of the bottle sent to our room.

very clean. Breakfast was good.
We were disappointed that the internet and TV did not work. We called 3 times to fix it and they said it was working. It was not. We came home from dinner and wanted to watch a movie. Disappointing.
