The hotel is super clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The mattress was great and extremely comfortable. The towels, hand towels and bath cloths were blazing white, hair and stain free and the perfect thickness.
The public parking deck is actually across the street and connected to Embassy Suites. The flooring in the rooms is laminate- makes the room feel a bit sterile.

Nothing. Couldn’t watch football you didn’t have channel. Room shower door broken, barn door for bathroom broken. Dirty nasty everywhere. No ice machine on 4th floor big open hold in the floor. Every light in hall ways was damaged. Elevator nasty and dirty. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Very expensive have stayed many hotels this was one of the worst!

I was quoted 236. 17 on booking . I got home and the charge on my credit card was 286.17. Was misleading on price of room. Not too happy

Honestly speaking and making things as simplistic as possible. Marriott has never failed with me when it comes to hospitality and taking care of their guests. I had a top floor city view this time and it was a beautiful site to catch the sunset one way while viewing a storm off to the distance in the other direction.
Had reservations for dinner downstairs at Butcher and Bull. That was delicious, the Lamb chops were delicious as well as the Salmon. Great wine selection also.
Overall great experience.
Only one minor issue, the door was sticking when trying to open to access the room. The lock may need to be repaired besides this and even with this being a minor issue to me personally, Marriott is still top notch.

your front desk staff was very nice and friendly, with the exception of one guy. he was a tall, slim, somewhat attractive black guy wearing open-back slip-on shoes and working on Sunday night. he was very arrogant and unfriendly, both to me and to my brother-in-law. we were both in town to attend a memorial service for my sister. I am sure that with that description, all of your staff in Winston-Salem will know exactly who I'm talking about, He's not doing your company any favors!

Very pleasant stay, and nice front desk staff.

it was very fancy and very clean
I felt like the “high floor” room was kind of misleading, but we were happy regardless.

Modern slick look design. No carpet! Restaurant on-site.

I enjoyed the short walk to the convention center. Clean rooms and comfort of the bed pillows and overall room Temps using climate controls.
I had purchased another night However when the maid service arrived I greeted them with a smile as we were still in room the maid rolled her eyes at me and acted very rudely. I tried to explain I had purchased an additional night and reserved over a month ago and already had my keys activated earlier to continue my stay. She was not happy I found this strange.

The location is great - central to everything, and our room felt freshly renovated with clean, modern finishes and interesting design touches. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The location was only about six blocks from the work location, which was nice. The parking was close. Just across the street and there was a covered walkway to get to it. The bed was super comfortable, and I LOVED the lavender pillow spray. That really made my night and I slept deeply regardless of the constant sound of the elevator going up and down.
The creamer for the coffee (located in the room), was coagulated. I didn't realize it until I had already put what would come out of the container into my coffee. Yuck.
Regarding the shower, at home you're always going to have some mold and mildew build up because you're not cleaning the shower every single day likely. But when you travel (especially to a hotel like Marriot), you expect better. From about chest up, the shower was super clean (grout lines were clean). But from chest down, and especially closer to the floor, the grout lines were moldy. Some worse than others. There must be some kind of spray the staff can use that will remove that on a daily basis. It made me question the cleanliness of the floor I was standing on.

I was fine but it needed to be ordered from a menu and paid for. Good though, -worth it.
For the cost of the room for one night, there should have been coffee available in the evening and in the morning. It's a deal breaker for me.

There was three awesome employess: Parker. He was very nice at check out and even offered my family some bottle water before leaving. He had a smile on his face as if he was glad we stayed at the hotel.
Joelle: I got up about 2 am to find something to drink. She assisted me with the store close to the front desk. We conversated for a few minutes. She was very nice.
MIkkie: did a good job of parking our vehicle and getting it in a timely fashion.
The check in was horrible. The lady Maria was nasty and rude. Because my voice isn't soft or the color of my skin isn't light, she had the nerve to say I was being hostile with a smerk on her face. We had our confirmations with us and was told we didn't have a room nor could she find our reservations. I told her we had the comfirmations so it was their responsibility to find our rooms. We were actually passing words back and forth. I finally told her do not say anything else to me, I would like to see a manager. The manager came out. She heard us passing words and she asked Maria to go to the other desk. When, I began to talk she (the manager) was very dimissive to me. My family and other people was watching what was going on. If, this was one of my employees being rude and dismissive to my patients they would no longer have a job. This had my mood down because I get sick of people accusing African American's of being hostile because the don't agree with someone. It was embarrassing having to argue with an employee that doesn't have the company's best interest to be polite to the customers.
