Everything was great. The service. The location in a very quiet neighborhood.

Cherie is a wonderful host. Very friendly and welcoming and makes a fabulous breakfast!
Loved the authentic Old Salem building and fittings, really beautiful.

The experience that my mom and I had at The Zevely Inn well exceeded my expectations! Cherie, the innkeeper, was so warm and genuine. I feel like I made a new friend in her! She moved our room to a lower level (and much larger space) to accomodate my mom's mobility issues. Her breakfast was delightful, and our room was clean and inviting! I would DEFINITELY go back!
In all honesty, there is not one single thing that I could reference as a "negative".

room was quiet and bed was extremely comfortable
they were flexible to our needs
it was very good for what it was - historic house - no elevator, small bathroom but the place exuded charm

beautiful historic inn, lovely grounds, great location
AC was not available

We loved the location in Old Salem. The breakfast was good and the host was accommodating to our schedule.
The stairs to the third floor were very steep. The extra bed in the room was uncomfortable- it was a very lumpy mattress. The tub/shower had a high side- difficult to get into. None of this was expected. As a 70 year old I probably would have chosen different accommodations if I had known.

Cherie is the best hostess and an exceptional chef !! We would highly recommend the Zevely Inn to family and friends !

historical home

This inn is located right in the middle of Old Salem. It was very safe, and at night you felt like you were walking thru a 19th Century neighborhood. The inn itself was just as advertised: old but in great shape.
We stayed on the 3rd floor. Just be aware that it's an awkward hike up to that floor, with steep stairs in a narrow stairwell. Also, there was no AC in the room, and all the heat from the floors below rose into our room.

beautiful part of town and the host was so friendly and accommodating.

It's interesting because it's a historic landmark inside an historical landmark.
The rooms are repurposed inside an old house, so the arrangement can be a little akward.

The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The innkeeper was charming, knowledgeable and engaging. Her breakfast was hot and tasty. Zevely Inn is located in beautiful Old Salem and very convenient to where I needed to be.

Breakfast was very good and the menu was diffetent each day.
I loved every thing. The hostess was very nice!!!!

The B &B is nostalgic, with the comforts of today.
The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Sherri was great and gave a great reference for a place to eat supper. Her breakfast in the morning was just delicious and perfect! Lovely all around.

The Innkeeper was wonderful. She provided information about great local restaurants and also additional information concerning other places to visit in the surrounding area. She made the guests feel very welcome.
We had no complaints at all. The accommodations were lovely.

The breakfast was very nice.
Old Salem is more like a museum than an actual area. I'm so glad to see something like that preserved.
Due to a snafu, we were booked into different rooms for the first and second night. The offered to keep us in one room, but I told them that might wife likes seeing other B&B rooms. They said "sure!" and my wife found them both really interesting.
The Wi-Fi was slow. I was on vacation, so I shouldn't have been on Wi-Fi anyway.

This BNB was very clean, decor in both main area and rooms were really 'classy'. I was very surprised at how little noise we heard which was a bonus considering the age of the home. The outdoor patio's were a nice addition to our stay as we enjoyed the beautiful weather sitting on the rocking chairs.
Location was wonderful and conveniently located to download WS which has all you can ask for in way of dining and nightlife.
Breakfast by Cherie was yummy and a great start to our day.
The bed was not very comfortable in our room which is the only complaint I have because the room itself was very nice and spacious. Again, a pleasant surprise for a house that was built in the 1800's.

I enjoyed the relaxed feel of the property, breakfast was really nice and our host was very accommodating.

It is difficult to control the temperature in the room but we opened the windows and were comfortable.
