La ubicacion en el centro de Bath, las instalaciones tenian de casi todo, las literas eran cómodas
El espacio en las habitaciones un poco justo. En las duchas el agua caliente irregular, a veces si a veces no

It was very affordable and in a great location. The room itself was clean and the bathrooms down the hall were reasonably close. Very nice that there were laundry facilities onsite since we had been hiking the Cotswold Way. Didn’t use the kitchen facilities, but it was nice they were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
One of the two toilets in the women’s restroom was not functioning. The motion sensor light went out on me while I was showering.

The property is well located in the city centre; it is also clean and the rooms have a good size.
The mattress was uncomfortable and, although it is advertised that you can leave your luggage at the property before check in and after check out, a payment was requested for it.

I had a double en suite room. It was large, plenty of storage and an extension lead for the plug socket which was very handy for hair straighteners being near a mirror etc.
Very well located in the centre of town and walkable to the train station.
Very friendly staff
Very large bathroom
I had a blocked sink and a radiator leak that meant I got a complementary paddling pool!
That said, when I highlighted this on checkout the money was refunded to my booking.com account and I could not fault management for their quick response and resolution to this problem. Far from putting me off staying here, it makes me more likely to come here again.

The building and Courtyard are very nice. It is a community center and it serves people from all walks of life. The lounge and TV area are very comfortable The kitchen and dining area are serviceable. I did not expect this to be a luxurious stay. I expected it to be exactly what it was a functional Affordable option.
The staff were professional, and very helpful. You need to pay attention to the directions because if you come up on the Broad Street side, you go up a few steps past another building and into the courtyard so you don’t enter off the address on the street. If you go around the other side where it says why you end up going up to very steep flights of steps. Just be aware .
I wish the beds had a little bit more padding or cushion. However, I understand that they are conserving resources and they do a lot of good for people in the community and people with urgent needs so I’m not really complaining.
Be aware that there is no lift . But putting lifts in is very expensive. I felt really good about my stay because it was exactly what it was supposed to be and it’s contributing to the community.

I liked the fact that there were hot plates although some people were monopolising them.
The building, though old, is beautiful, and very warm and dry.
It is quite difficult to get hot water in the women's showers, and these are not closed, there are only curtains, therefore anyone can walk in on you.
As mentioned by other guests, the hostel caters mainly to groups, which can be really noisy (school kids) and to people who have alcoholism and/or mental health problems and are on benefits. Some of the staff are also alcoholics and are quite rude. The hostel probably gets paid by Bath Council to house them, the same as Julian House at the church near the railway station (opposite the police station), it saves Bath Council the hassle of making more social housing available and it enables the YMCA to make a lot of money. These premium paying guests earn them a lot more money than travellers and you do get the feeling that you are unwanted if you do not drink, do not take drugs (recreational or pharmaceutical) and are working for a living. I was actually advised to give up my low paid unqualified job... and to try out another hostel in town where I know that both the guests and some of the staff take recreational drugs, where some of the foreign guests are working in the UK illegally (they are overstayers who arrived on tourist visas and work paid black) and where some of the long term guests are pimps.

las instalaciones están muy bien, habitación privada es amplia
Muy pocos lavabos por piso (1 inodoro de mujeres disponible) para 20 habitaciones. Pésima higiene (estaban muy sucios y no se limpiaban)

A great, reasonably priced option for a Private Room in central Bath, the listing isn't kidding when they advertise rooms with excellent views of the city!
All good :)

The location is perfect. I was doing training in a yoga studio less than 5 minutes away, so it was ideal for me. It is right beside shops, restaurants and bars, and the buildings on thebstreerts are very beautiful
The breakfast that had been advertised had stopped last week. So up earlier then expected to go find some we re for breakfast on a sunday morning, and my course starts at 10am . Nowere seems to open before that for breakfast on Sunday :-/

The cleaning person is really bad and unprofessional. We missed the checkout time 10am. When we were back at 1050am, we came to know the cleaning person already trashed all of our food & stuff, put luggage in reception area. He or she should inform the hostel staff and notified us. Really unprofessional and shocked. Stain on our trip to Bath though it is really beautiful and historic.

The breakfast was a nice surprise - I didn't expect any! the staff were very helpful, and the communal facilities were good.
The dormitory floor really needed a good clean, and the sink was blocked in the washroom.

Calm, peaceful hostel, friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice breakfast in the morning at weekends.

Facilities are really horrible. Bed is not clean.

Mi trovo sempre bene in questa struttura. Posizione centralissima, personale gentile.

My girlfriend and I booked a double room with shared bathroom.
They gave us a room on the third floor, no lift present (not a big problem given our age. But it's strange there wasn't one). The wifi was literally inexistent, it wasn't even listed among the wifis in the area. They mention on a sign that the signal in that area is not very strong, but if it doesn't reach the upper floors at all, I doubt that's the problem.
There was a sink in the room, without any paper to dry your hands.
The wardrobe, as soon as I opened it, did not give off a pleasant smell. Plus there was only one hanger inside (for two people).
The window was very dirty, and could barely be opened.
The shared bathrooms were ok
I wouldn't reccomend it.

Rooms were clean and simple
Lovely out door sitting area in the courtyard
Super friendly and helpful people who work there
Nice breakfast

Very nice common area, functional bathrooms. I liked being able to leave my luggage after checkout without extra charges, thank you so much!
The beds were a bit noisy when we moved on them: maybe some oil can sort that.
3.6
Location was very good, near central Bath. Keep your luggage after check out. Priced reasonably.
Run down, not well maintained and clean. Bathrooms clogged showers, sink, doors don’t close, etc. Aslo, vagrants and homeless nearby, noisy at night due to this.
3.6
That was completely misleading. Picture shows there should be a double bed. My 14 year old twin (boy and girl) was with me. We checked in 2pm and checked out at around 4:30pm same day. We didn’t stay there. Straight drove back to London.

Good location
Affordable
Good facilities
Not too accessible due to lots of stairs

The staff are very nice and the amenities were great.
There were seagulls resting outside our window crying out and making a lot of noise early in the morning.

A very good place, with a very pleasant staff.
In general It was everything in his right place.
Maybe not too much clean.

fantastic location, lovely staff, clean rooms.
it's a hostel, so nothing unexpected: beds are squeaky and window didn't shut properly, you can hear the other guests.

Bonus weekend breakfast, bonus towels and kettle.
I stayed two nights separately in two different rooms and had two different experiences! This night was the double room and it was better than expected and great value.
A little hard to find from the street.
