We travelled to the LOZ with family & friends and stayed at this great house! It was perfect for our group, plenty of space to relax, tons of room in the bedrooms, and great amenities! Rob & Mel the hosts were incredible, checking us in they walked us through any questions we had, brought over coolers with extra ice for yummy drinks, and had great recommendations on places to visit like the Nautifish Rum Bar! It is right up the road and touch’s a fun spot for large groups! 10 out of 10 would recommend and stay again!

We had 15 adults and 3 kids. Came back from the lake 2 were able to take a luck warm shower. He came right away said the breaker fliped. Heated up for one more shower. We all took cold showers Friday and Saturday. Wrapers, dirt, dog bone all under the furniture that was visible. Beautiful scenery made it better

This was our annual family get together, kids, spouses and grandkids. House was huge. Lots of common area for all 31 of us to spread out. Room for kids to play. Kitchen was well equipped. Hostess was easy to deal with. She took care of our needs very quickly. Everyone had a great time. Loved the water and easy access to the dock.

We loved everything about this property. The hosts were wonderful to work with. The location was awesome. We had our 4 kids, their spouses and our grandkids. There was a total of 34 of us. There was a place for everyone to sleep. The house was clean, very roomy and very well equipped. We had everything we needed. We had a blast and would definitely stay again!!!

We could not ask for a better place on the Lake for a stay with friends. The backyard and dock are great whether or not you have a boat. The hosts are awesome and truly want you to have a great stay.

Rented this house for my daughters wedding party and myself (since you had to be 30 years old to rent) The group consisted of couples and a few singles ranging from 23-29, along with my husband and I. I was questioned again and again by the owner "how many will be here" to which I replied the same everytime however we ended up only having about 20 sleep there. My mistake when booking I didn't change the "number of adults" on booking! The house has great potential, yet there are many things that need addressed. From there being tape laid under the “new” floor being found after one of our guests fell through it (assuming it was an old register), to the musty smelling washer & dryer (to the point we refused to wash clothing and could smell it on the towels there for bathing), and the abundance of bugs & a ground squirrel in the house! We also were unable to use the lilly pad due to moss. During our stay, there was very little toilet paper, paper towels, and ended up running out of trash bags by the last day. There were less than 25 of us as some backed out and cannot imagine how fast we would have run out of if we had everyone show up. However we were questioned many time on how many people were going to be there even though 35 was the max number allowed. Great location, great potential for the house, but could use some work and we did not have the same experience as other reviews which was disappointing after seeing such great reviews and booking solely on those.

We selected this home for our family reunion to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday and it was perfect. The house easily accommodated five of our children, their spouses, and 11 grandchildren plus one friend. Plenty of bedrooms to give everyone the space needed and the common family room/dining areas were very spacious. Rob and Melissa were fantastic hosts with great communication and providing ice whenever we needed it. The dock and swim areas were great and the views of the lake are fantastic! We would highly recommend this for any big groups.

"Point of View" is a lovely sprawling home that gave our group of 12, toddlers, teens, parents & grandparents, plenty of room to join in or chill out. The lake view is amazing! The dock and ramp were every thing we hoped for. The kitchen was very well equipped, with room for several us at a time to work in. Plenty of dishes, pots & pans to use, nice, modern appliances, plus two extra refrigerators nearby, which were a godsend! And we sure did appreciate all the ice that Rob & Melissa sent our way! We loved sitting at the big beautiful dining table together for meals and games, a priority for our family. Not far from the Niangua bridge, we love this quieter, but convenient location at the lake. A great choice for family fun!

This house was absolutely incredible! The place was clean when we arrived, and wow, were the views spectacular. The hosue and backyard are PERFECT for big groups - we had 28 people and never felt cramped. The boat dock is beautiful and you can swim in the lake!
The only thing better than the house was the hosts! Melissa went above & beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. We highly recommed getting food catered from Nautifish (owned by the owners of the house) - it was convenient, affordable, and delicious. Melissa even cleaned our kitchen afterwards!! We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Melissa!!!

The dock, boat ramp and water activities were great. Our family of22, ages 4to85, enjoyed the accommodations and the beauty of the area. We watched a couple of deer between the house and the neighbors. Great view from the house as we were able to watch our children and grandchildren enjoying the various water activities.

Rob and Melissa are fantastic and the property is great! Awesome house for a large group. Melissa recommend the folks at Montego Bay for boat rentals and they were fantastic to work with. All and all the group had a great time!

Fantastic Bachelor Party Location!
It was a great experience all the way around. Check-in was seamless and Melissa/Rob were quick to respond to any questions. The house is in a great location and Melissa/Rob had it preset with ice, propane, rafts, etc. There were enough beds for 18-20 of us to each sleep comfortably. I would highly recommend to any large groups looking to stay together at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Perfect for large families!
We rented this property for a family vacation with 32 family members ranging in age from 18 months to 85 years and it was fantastic! Large open great room with beautiful lake views, plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms. The property owner delivered ice for us every day (so helpful and friendly). Tons of fridge space to accommodate our large group too! Close to grocery store and boat rental marina. The dock was clean and critter free with easy boat slip access (no tight turns) and plenty of space to swim and float. Be careful on the lily pad though, we had several torn up toes and knees on kiddos from the padding. Overall an outstanding property we would highly recommend for big family getaways!

Cool house. The boat ramp and dock worked out very well for me for my shootout boat. Owners are nice and easy to work with. Will be renting again next year for the shootout!

Family getaway
A great time was had in the house for our annual family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone, either to gather together or find a quiet place to read and relax. We especially enjoyed the covered patio with gas fire pit as a place to enjoy morning coffee and later spend the evenings visiting. Also, one night we made smores in the firepit in the yard.
The inside great room area was perfect for dining and sitting around admiring the lake views out the wall of windows. There are quite a few level changes in the hallways to the bedrooms. Kind of a Split Level within a Split Level floor plan. The dock does need some work, boat wells were not available to use. But we all had fun swimming, sunning, and fishing from the dock. The private boat ramp made it easy enough to pull our boat out after use. The 3 refrigerators gave us plenty of room for keeping beverages cold and store our groceries.
The Owners were great in responsiveness to our questions preparing for the trip and the feedback we provided to them. They were genially interested in all our feedback and suggestions. They worked hard in making our trip a success. They shared their plans for updating the house, it will be awesome when they are done.

Family Gathering
This was our second stay in as many weeks. The house was wonderful for our extended family to gather from across the country. We spent lots of time in the large, level yard playing games, sitting around the patio table in all the available chairs; early while others slept in and later after kids went to sleep. We moved the table from the breakfast nook in next to the dining room table to make it fun to all eat together and play cards and board games. Kitchen worked well for prepping breakfast and dinners. Enough room for cooks but had to keep out those who only watched. A larger kitchen is really needed. Grilled dinner a couple of nights on the patio’s large grill, fed our group of 14.
The layout of the bedrooms worked with the group we had. Parents with small kids had the bunkbed room. Adults only had the others, with one lucky couple having the ‘honeymoon room’.
The Lake was great! Kids swam and fished off the dock, one boy catching his first fish. Lounging in the chairs, our rafts and provided kayaks made for a fun filled week. Watching a bald eagle get a fish right off the dock and the variety of boat traffic going by made it very relaxing at the same time.
The owners were very helpful in setting up our fun trip, and available to answer all questions we had. They had made many improvements after our feedback from the 1st week. Trip was a success.

Friends Weekend Getaway
I have nothing but great things to say about this house and the hosts! We had a large group of 26 friends and we never felt super cramped or crowded inside the house. There were ample dining spaces for all of us and the bedrooms were so spacious that even having 10+ people in one room didn't seem crammed at all. The house's layout can be a little disorienting, but the layout for the common areas were perfect. We especially loved the beautiful lake view from the huge windows at the back of the house. The outdoor space is phenomenal, plenty of patio seating and the lawn was really well cared for - perfect for yard games.
The owners were so responsive from the moment I booked through the end of our stay. They brought ice to us every day from the bar which was incredibly convenient, and when we had a small issue with the microwave, they were at the house within an hour to take a look (& gifted us a bottle of booze for the inconvenience, so nice!) The dock needs some work, but was still very usable and the owners were super transparent about the state of it when I asked - I appreciated the transparency and I never felt like they were trying to hide anything.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone with a large group and I would definitely stay here again. It's so difficult to find a good place to stay with this many people, and often times you end up giving up some quality just to have enough space, which was definitely not the case with this house. We had the best time, thanks for everything Melissa!!

Excellent Property and Hosts
We had a 3 day bachelor party at this location and the house and hosts could not have been a better combo for our situation. The house was clean, huge and very well put together for this type of stay..the location and setup are awesome considering it's on the waterfront and there is a big covered patio out back as well. Melissa and her husband were super easy to communicate with, brought ice when we needed it and were extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this listing and would definitely come back again!

Family Reunion!
First of all I have to say that the owners were awesome! They were so accommodating from beginning to end. They also own a bar around the corner with live music which we visited frequently and had an absolute blast! The house is very unique but very cool! It reminds you of an old school lake house. The great room is huge with large windows that overlook the lake. The bedrooms are located on different levels of the house each with a bathroom close by. The back yard is huge with a lot of space to lounge, play games, and run around. There is also a patio with a grill and lots of outdoor furniture. We had 25 people and everybody loved the house! We made some great memories and will definitely be back!

Great potential
The house is massive. It has a very very strange configuration. You are constantly going up or down two or three steps into different rooms. The majority of the house has wood paneling on both the walls and ceilings making it very dark, thus many rooms had inadequate lighting. Some of the bedrooms lacked any furniture besides the bed(s), no dresser, no stand for suit cases, no hangers in the closets.
The kitchen seems to small for a house that can sleep 30+ people. There were enough dishes and silverware, but there were not nearly enough pots and pans to fix meals for even a group of 15. The largest pot held only 4 quarts. (We contacted the owners and they brought us a larger pot very quickly.) The kitchen also lacked a number of items that were listed like a toaster. (I'm sure if I would have contacted the owners they would have brought one over, but we didn't want to hold up breakfast while we waited.) There were only two tables that each sat 6 people, so even with a group of 15 we couldn't all sit down to eat together.
The listing also indicated there was a place to dock a boat, but the slips were not available. (I contacted the owners who said we could bring the boat to a nearby location and dock it there overnight.) The dock itself was obviously under repair. We were able to swim off it, but it didn't meet our expectations based on the pictures and description.
The backyard is wonderful! There is great outdoor furniture under the overhang of the house. The lawn and patio area is great. Best outdoor space of any house we've ever rented at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The bottom line is that this house has great potential. We were told we were only the second group to rent the house. (We knew they were renovating the house when we booked it. They assured us the renovation would be complete by the time we arrived. Unfortunately there are still a number of things that need to be addressed.) Once all the renovations are complete and some simple fixes like some more bedroom furniture, the proper cookware, this house should be amazing. The owners were very responsive to the concerns we raised.

Family Reunion
This house was the perfect spot for our family reunion on the lake. We had 32 people total and had plenty of space in the home. The beautiful views from the house with the great outdoor space made this a spot that we definitely plan to revisit.
The house is in a good spot. Grocery is within 10 minutes, restaurants within 15 minutes, and Bridal Cave within 15 minutes.
The owners own a bar nearby and were super helpful whenever we needed anything. Also, their bar often hosts live music and the food is good as well.
During our visit, the well dock wasn't available but this wasn't a huge issue as we were able to tie off our small boat to the dock.
Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place to friends and family for any weekend on the lake.
