Out door patio area was very nice and sun trap , refreshments topped up daily
Bed was lumpy and too big for the size of room ,their was a kitchen with fridge microwave and toast but no too eat with or off just 2 cups so total waste if they didn't want you to use should have taken it out and just left the fridge black damp mould around kitchen window kettle was broken and they didn't have a replacement TV only had 5 channels on

Comfortable large bed room 4, quiet and peaceful nights sleep. Staff friendly and polite.
Evening dining was really good menu and tasty food.
Booked and paid for B&B. Then the On arrival we were told breakfast was an extra charge and only served between 8 & 9am.
Which didn’t suit us.

Breakfast was a little over priced in our opinion, but not a problem.

- great location
- very friendly and helpful staff
- dog friendly
- ample street parking near hotel
- poor communication about our stay. Unbeknownst to us, the weekend we are staying is the week of the local festival. We booked our stay 3 months prior, and received a phone call to inform us that on the first night there will be loud music played at the inn itself for an event, and the second night right across the street. Unfortunately, due to late notice (the stay had been paid in full by that point via booking.com), and the fact that we had to take days off work for our trip, it wouldn’t be easy to find alternative accommodation nor make date change to our visit. The music the second night was so loud that we couldn’t relax/attempt to fall asleep until it stopped at 11:30pm (we had closed all the windows even though it was quite warm). If we had know there will be events in such close proximity we definitely wouldn’t have stayed there as we didn’t have good quality sleep due to the loud noise.
- they don’t seem to use the messaging service on booking.com, messaged 2 times separately with no reply, had to phone up to enquire instead

Excellent location for the wonderful landscape around.
My room was too hot but I never thought to ask for an air fan.

The location in the historic village of Tideswell with its amenities was great. The pub is full of character and the decor is restrained and very attractive - it has integrity. The managers and staff were great and the food was very good - a great ambience in the bar. The four poster room with own sitting room and kitchenette and en suite wsa excellent.

The evening meals were very good. We only had a breakfast on the last day as we were walking each day but again that was good
There was no opening windows in our room.

Lovely cosy pub, the room was great with a little kitchenette, sofa and tv in a separate room and lovely and clean. The breakfast was lovely and we had meals on two nights there which were both really nice including the Greek menu. Great location for getting out and about for walks.
Unfortunately, we stayed on Friday and Saturday nights and were in a room on the front right above the main bar. Very loud music until 12.45am both nights. The radiator in the room was on full and made it far too hot and the valve didn't work to turn it down. The bar staff said that the only way to turn it down was to turn down the heating in all the rooms. Opening the window meant that we got all the noise from people outside smoking and those leaving the pub, until the early hours.

The staff and the room were lovely. Sam, Leon & John were so helpful & accommodating. I think Tideswell could be the friendliest place I've ever been to!
Nothing.

Although we were in a pub, The room was very quiet at night. The location was ideal for what we had planned for the stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. There was plenty of cupboard space in the room.
There was quite a bit of condensation on the window. There was damp mould on the wall in the corner by the bed. The shower tray has seen better days, it was very worn and could do with being replaced. There wasn't anywhere in the bathroom to put any of our toiletries, a shelf would be helpful.

Location for planned activities. Lovely village.
Room was tucked in to the eves and, being over 6ft tall, this was a problem. I was unable to stand upright in the toilet area and only in the central part of the bedroom.

The location in Tideswell in the Peaks was very good to get out & explore from.
The room could do with a warning about the lack of headroom, I am 5'8" & it was quite awkward moving around the room due to the low ceilings.
