Not very much at all, except I was given the option to change the room that had been allocated to me
The official reception was closed and when I tried to access the front, a sign sent me to the rear but no-one was there, so I had to ring the number. Then the gentleman that arrived from outside of the building as if he had just driven up, made loads of excuses about the reception being closed, plus the temproary entrance to the hotel was very unsafe, unlit and the door was unlocked so unsecure. As a result, when returning late evening, I slipped on the gravel and then fell down the two wooden steps resulting in a badly injured left foot and knee, which after medical attention when I got back to London, revealed a fracture in my ankle, Plus, the advice of where to have breakfast was far from helpful and the claim the hotel was listed with over 200 websites when I questioned why I was allocated a room on the third floor, added to the very poor hosting, so I would NEVER stay here again or recommend it

Under New Management from the last time I stayed here .
A wonderful hidden gem !!
Nothing was too much for the staff who upon arrival were extremely im formative and so very welcoming.
I will be returning and will always stay there when travelling too the IOW.

There was NO BREAKFAST !!! I made an assumption that most such places aer ' B & B' but looks like it did not mention breakfast on the booking website.
It was a small room in the front (part of the orig buidling, not the extension at the back.), NOT mean to be a Double Room. There was no mirror in the room, or a 'dressing table' as such. Looks like the wardrobe/furniture wes 'IKEA' standard! In the bathroom, as small wash-basin, with NO shelf or similar to keep one's items. The front door Lock needs replacing !

The hotel is very convenient to Ryde town The room was spotlessly clean and bright and sunny with ensuite. And the beds were comfortable. We didn,t have breakfast because we prefer to have brunch later.

Fairly cheap and clean. Comfy sleep.
The decor needs a modernising

I was only staying for one night.
The bed was clean and comfortable.
The room was fine for my needs
My room faced onto a fairly busy road, but I knew the location of the hotel when I booked it.
No restaurant on site ( again I knew this)

Room was clean and comfy
The reception and communal areas were filthy. The reception was unmanned when we arrived. Another guest who was also waiting called the number. The owner then turned up and so did the man who was running reception and had a row. This made us feel uncomfortable. But the worse thing was that my name and contact details were left out on the desk, to the point where another guest grabbed it and told us all where we're stopping. This in my opinion breaches data protection. Personal details of guests should not be left on view for others to see when reception is unmanned.

Very clean and had all facilities I required.
Had to ring up mobile number to check in on first arrival. My mobile phone battery had just run out of charge and had to walk all the way back to Wetherspoons to recharge before I could ring. There are some long steep hills in Ryde! This was because I was travelling by public transport. If I had been in a car it would have been no problem and there was ample parking.

Location to Ryde was excellent. Staff reasonable
Cleanliness not up to standard, no soap, no tissues, remote control did not work and it wasn't the batteries. Shower was mouldy. Shower leaked.

It seemes to have a bit of a reputation for not having the best clientele. But we’re surprised how nice our room was. Lovely clean sheets. Staff lovely. Great value for money, would go there again.
A bedside light would be nice, and the fridge was a bit noisy for a light sleeper.
