Apartment is lovely, comfortable, and an excellent location. Close to everything you need or want to see.
Highly recommend.

Overall we loved our stay at this property in Edinburg. It's very spacious and the location is amazing. I would not stay there again though due to the squeaking floors. It's a huge problem through out the house and if you get up in the night to go to the bathroom you will wake your partner or children. The floors need to be changed out so badly. Otherwise it was a lovely place!

Great Place in Edinburgh. Close to everything. Concierge was exceedingly crumpy

We've taken many trips to Edinburgh, most recently for our fourth trip to the Fringe, and this apartment is an easy favorite.
The location is on Holyrood, close enough to everything to walk, but not in the noisy center of things further up on the Royal Mile or along North Bridge/South Bridge/Nicholson Street. There is a Tesco express about a 2-minute walk away and a nice range of restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
The apartment is on the "second floor" which for Americans means the third floor. You have a great view of the Dynamic Earth structure (which is especially nice when illuminated at night) and Arthur's seat. The walk toward the center of town is heavy with buildings for the University of Edinburgh - we always felt safe.
The apartment itself is modern and well furnished. There is a large kitchen and adjacent dining area. The kitchen was equipped with nice silverware and other cooking amenities. There was some coffee and tea there, but assume that you will go shopping for whatever you want on arrival.
There are three decent-sized bedrooms and two baths with shower/bath. The apartment has a balcony and lots of windows for natural light.
There were plenty of plugs, but if you are coming from the US/Canada please consider buying some adapters ahead of time. If not, they are easy to buy in Edinburgh at Boots or one of the many electronic shops in the tourist areas.
We would highly recommend this apartment unless you want it at a time we want to stay there.

We stayed six nights. It's a wonderful location. Away from the crowds, but within walking distance of the various sites. Loved having my coffee on the deck with a view of Arthur's Seat. The check in process was a bit strange. Had to walk a few blocks to pick up the key. Would be better to have the onsite concierge or the Marriott next door provide the key. Not a big deal. The unit is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities.

The parking garage made this an excellent place to stay within walking distance to the Royal Mile and shopping locations. Plenty of space for our family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 teenagers.

The apartment is modern and clean. We were on the second floor looking out on Salisbury Crags. It is off the tourist streets so is quiet. Local buildings are either Government offices, university campus buildings and student residences. The apartment is fully furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The agency was very open to responding to our questions on a timely basis. We would recommend this location and building.

This was the perfect spot for us. The apartment is incredibly well furnished (could maybe use a few more towels, but that's a minor point) and has all the facilities needed to make a great home-away-from-home for our week in Edinburgh. Location is super central without ever being noisy so we enjoyed convenience and peace all week. Simply wonderful!!

This Holyrood site is a very comfortable, well appointed property. I especially liked the state of the art kitchen, the sparkling clean feeing in all the rooms and the lovely view of Arthur’s Seat. It is also very well situated, near the hop on hop off bus lines, just steps away from the royal mile and next door to a Marriott Hotel with a wonderful concierge who happily shared his recommendations even though we weren’t staying at the hotel. The host also provided a notebook full of information about restaurants, tours, etc. The only negative was process of getting the key at a site several blocks away. So glad that was not necessary upon departure.

We were so pleased with the flat, everything that we needed for a family of 6 was in the flat. The service was excellent with response time to one small issue we had. Will definitely book here for our next stay. Thank you for providing such a wonderful first experience in Scotland.

The flat was perfect for our needs (5 people) and exactly as pictured and described. All communications were clear and prompt making it very easy. Pick up of keys was off site but simple following the instructions. Having the small grocery nearby was very handy. We had a wonderful stay.

The apartment was exactly as pictured and described! Quiet neighborhood at bottom of Royal Mile. Tesco steps away. 20 min walk to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood palace and Arthur’s seat hike even closer. National Museum of Scotland close too. Spot to park car was a boon. What else can I say? Loved it!

Beautiful apartment 10 minutes walk from everything on the Royal Mile. Really enjoyed being able to relax with friends in the open plan living arrangement, after a busy day. Everything was there that we needed and we would definitely stay again 😊

Lovey spot need Holyrood, away from the traffic of the Royal Mile. A bit further from transportation, but absolutely worth it for the peace. We loved our stay!

The flat was clean, very well stocked and convenient to Royal Mile but out off the noisy area. Check in was flawless and we were allowed a very early check in so stowing luggage was not a concern. If in Edinburgh in the future, we would stay here again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the apartment. We were in recovery mode after weeks on the road. Your space was everything we needed to have a great time together. We were so close to all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. We hope to be back again.

Wonderful location, beautiful apartment, perfect place for our family. A little difficult on check-in—keys at one location, apartment at a different location. Other than that it was wonderful!

This space was wonderful for our 4 adults and 2 kids. Walked to Holyrood Palace (very close) and Arthur’s Seat. Even the walk back from the castle was an easy downhill stroll. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely homebase for exploring Edinburgh.

Edinburgh was the end of a 14 day UK visit. This flat was large, had plenty of windows to open in the warmer weather, great views of Arthur's Seat, and location was perfect for us. This was the only place that we cooked and with the kitchen being stocked with every type of pot and pan, etc plus the Tesco Express just down the street, it made it super easy. We enjoyed the extra space and having 2 bathrooms! Only downfall is having to pick up the keys at another location in a busy part of the city and then having to go into the apartment and get the garage opener. But having the parking space included made it worth the hassle.

Very nice flat located close to sights yet quiet. Well equipped. Key pick up is one more step then usual, we picked up at the train station and took the bus from the airport to get there which could be tricky if you haven't been to Edinburgh before. Service responds quickly to questions via email. Hop on bus at dynamic earth is steps away as is Holyrood castle (great tea there).

My family was in Edinburgh as part of an extended Euro trip and I must say this is one of the better places we stayed. The location is just far enough from the noise of the city but a short walking distance from many sites. It was a perfect view of Arthur's Seat and a great location for more active travelers. Huge bonus for the mini supermarket just down the street. It had a well stocked kitchen that made food preparation for the 1 year old in our group easy.
The hosts were so lovely & very accommodating. Unfortunately a member of our party had a stomach bug which caused a last minute need for new accommodations after our stay ended (and much panic among our crew). The hosts were able to find us a new place to stay no problem. Just such nice people.
I highly recommend staying here.

This was an amazing property. This was my first time using Vrbo, but not my friends. They said this property was a great one. Plenty of space and better than any hotel we could have booked. Wasn't sure how close it was to all the fun shops and restaurants, but turns out it was. Great location. I'd book this place again in a heartbeat.

I would stay here again if I'm ever back in Edinburgh. Location was excellent - easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go, but easy enough to catch a cab, too. Beds were super comfy with exceptional linens and pillows. We had a little issue with the smoke alarm which was resolved quickly. Response time was swift and thorough. I really can't say enough positive things about this apartment. My only complaint was that we had to go elsewhere to get the keys, but honestly not really a big deal.

Great Location and size for family
We spent four days here (My wife and I) with our two children (8, 11), and my Parents - The space was great for us and we didn't feel cramped at all.
The location is perfect for tourists - there is a pickup spot across the street for the open-top buses we used two days in a row.
One street behind the apartment is the Royal Mile and an easy walk to the Castle passing all the shops and pubs you'll need.
The view from the living room of Arthur's Seat was lovely and on two mornings we walked out of the apartment and up to the top.
Highly recommend this spot for families and small groups.

50th Anniversary Trip
My in-laws had been in Edinburgh for 3 weeks for their 50th Anniversary trip staying in a small place on the Royal Mile. We booked this space for me, my husband, 9 year old son and my brother-in-law for 4 days before we headed north. There were some issues with the keys on arrival so Damian met us at the property and got us situated., which made for an easy arrival. We chose this location because it was close to my in-laws and had a nice kitchen. We shopped and cooked in every morning and most evenings of our stay. There was more than enough room for my in-laws to join us. Taking the outdoor stairs behind the property put us in the close that led to the Royal Mile. Very convenient for restaurants and pubs! The bus stop was just out the front door and the train station is a 10 minute walk. Baskin Robbins was 2 minutes out the door which made my son and father-in-law equally happy!
There was a washer/dryer which was very handy as we had 2 full weeks in Scotland and needed to refresh our clothing. The only thing missing was a hair dryer. Coming from the US I would have loved a hair dryer in the unit. As it was, I used my adaptor and blew up my blow dryer! :(
There was some confusion with final payment as I assumed it would be billed through VRBO on the same card as the deposit. We traveled for several more weeks in Scotland and only after several days back in the US did they contact me to let me know I hadn't paid! It was easily remedied, but it took longer for them to receive payment than I would have liked!
All in all a lovely location and easy to work with.
