Tucked away from everything. Quiet and peaceful. Good view of the water. The neighbors helped us find the path down to the beach that was at the end of the street. The communication was great! It was about an hour away from Deception Pass state park. Be aware there is no AC, we were able to cool off with having windows open in the evenings and early mornings.

We visited for a few days to relax and kick off the summer. Since it was a bit rainy, we took advantage of the games and fireplace. We also got to see two Bald Eagles fly by.

The house was perfect for our friends getaway. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and the bathrooms. The neighborhood is quiet. Lovely view out the back to Saratoga Passage. Close to 2 state parks.

We enjoyed our stay and were pleased to use the binoculars. From the backyard we could see the Mukilteo Ferry and 2 eagles flying nearby. We would love to come back again.

Water pressure is low but the house and property and view are amazing.

The home is beautifully located in Camano Island where you can get away from busy city life. The home overlooks the sound and a bald eagle we named (Cam) hung out in the tree everyday. This was a great place for a family to stay.

Our key code did not work but the property manager showed up quickly and let us in. We then discovered a wall heater that was sparking and had melted wires so the property manager removed. I think all of the heaters need inspecting. The upstairs bathroom fan light was also out and needed cleaning. Overall we liked the house and there were plenty of bed options. We enjoyed the local parks but do some research. The southern one nearby has parking near the water. The one just north of that has a great place for lunch and a killer Reuben sandwich. The trails are steep to the water. A State Park parking pass is required for both. Buy ahead of time or the upper park has a booth to purchase.

Easy, quiet...south side of island, about 10-15 minutes from anything. Fine if you really want quiet and relaxing time.

This was perfect for a short getaway from the city. The place is clean and spacious; it has everything we need--comfortable beds, clean linens, and towels. The management was very helpful when one of the outlets in the kitchen was out, resulting in the refrigerator not working for 2 days. They immediately brought a small fridge to make sure our food was not spoiled.

I loved this house. It really felt like home. Views of water from every room and window. There are 3 bed rooms and can nicely accomodate big family. Kudos to owners to keep liquid hand soap in two bathrooms! Everything is clean and nicely maintained. You can walk out to front yard to the waters. Large windows with views of water everywhere is very calming! During winter, there might be stormy days which are quite a treat but some may not like it. Nearest Starbucks and shopping is ~15 min driving so there is touch of "getting away". However Cama Beach cafe is just super nice when it is open. During December, don't forget to visit million lights at Stanwood!
Few things that can be improved but not a deal breaker at all:
- Keep body wash and shampoo in bathroom (there were none)
- More toilet paper
- It would be much nicer if the main living room had actual work table and chair for folks who wants to work remotely
- There is covered car in the front but not sure if it is on purpose to not let others park there
Overall, one of the best stays.

couches were comfy. wonderful views of the ocean. warm fireplace. Comfy beds except for twin in office needs a new mattress. Leans to one side. Other wise the other beds were great. Close to state parks too!

The house was well taken care of and clean. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. I appreciated the electric kettle as we are tea drinkers. The furniture was comfortable. Wifi was very good. The deck and view are nice but the deck furniture was little wobbly and uncomfortable. The house advertises beach access which is true but the trail to get there is down the road, steep, and not for those with any mobility issues (elderly, very small children, etc.).

We arrived the last week in June. The home was very clean. The neighborhood was beautiful and it was the perfect distance from any town. We had a very busy itinerary and to be able to come back and kick off our shoes for the evenings, it was truly the perfect spot. We have 3 kiddos and they all had their own space and two bathrooms was so nice to have! We had a hard time finding the beach access and gave up but the state parks had beach access not too far away. We will definitely recommend this home to others and would absolutely stay here again

We had a great stay and enjoyed our time. Need to fix the heater in the kitchen, as it was very cold in that part of the house. Would stay again, no question.

The property and house are nice. However, shortly after we arrived the power went out due to storm and was out for the duration of the stay. The heating on the house was turned off and so the house was cold when we arrived. Once the power was out, we had no way to warm the house. As well, the wifi went out with the power leaving us with no way to communicate outside of the house as there is no land line and we had no local cell coverage. Although the storm is not the responsibility of the home owner, the property could be better equipped for situations like this. Some of the flashlights worked but most of the batteries were dead. There were candles and a lighter but the lighter was difficult to use. Matches or more than one lighter would be helpful. There is a fire place but no instructions on how to use it and if it is usable. There was no wood so we did not use it. A heat source would have been appreciated. There were many blankets which were necessary to keep us warm at night. Besides sleeping, we did not stay at the rental due to the power outage.
If this had been a usual situation, the house itself would have been a nice place to stay. However the associated fees of the rental are excessive.

There were mice, in the drawers in the kitchen. It took us an hour to get inside because we weren’t given the correct code, had to make numerous phone calls in which we were on hold for a long time and it wasn’t very much of a good experience at all. I don’t recommend it at all.

Peace, tranquility, beauty - this is what we found staying at Her Lord’s Ship on Camano Island. Truly this was the best vrbo we have ever stayed in. The views of the water were indescribable, the home was cozy and friendly, and every item we could have imagined was thoughtfully provided. Even the neighbors were so kind it really was a joy to stay in this home. The location is amazing for getting to the beach and to all the best hiking in the north puget sound region. Our FAMILY CANNOT WAIT to return for another stay.

my family all went to Camano Island for the weekend and stayed at her lord's ship. the property was immaculate. the layout of the house is extremely pleasant & well thought-out, completely set with any gear you'd want for cooking & dining. the front patio is spacious, with an excellent view across the western inlet. access to stores and restaurants, plus all of the parks, was easy.
we intend to come back.

We had to cancel this reservation because of a medical emergency. We went into the VRBO site and followed the steps for cancellation. We received a message that "cancellation is pending". That indicates that the cancellation request was received in plenty of time. Now we are being asked how we enjoyed our stay. We cancelled because we were unable to go to Camano Island. VRBO acknowledged the cancellation but evidently put it on hold so we would be made to pay for a vacation we were unable to enjoy. Not good.

Beautiful view, fairly well equipped home. Unfortunately, the deck and grill were not well maintained, and we couldn’t enjoy the view because the deck (and view) are to the west, and there was no shade, and no umbrella provided. The property was listed as having beach access. It really doesn’t, because the only path to it is down the road and treacherous.

We stayed for a long weekend to visit with friends and see the island. Overall the house was clean and well located. Beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked and parking was limited to one SUV on the "driveway" and one along the street. Kitchen was fairly well equipped but suggest bringing some basics like cooking oil/spray, sugar etc.

This was a beautiful home! We loved birdwatching from the house, and viewing some delightful hummingbirds and eagles. I am sensitive to fragrance and most rental houses are quite toxic to me because of cleaning products and air fresheners. This home was not like this. It was accessible and clean. I would definitely come back here!

Eagles, Whales, and Waves
This is a beautiful, quiet, and clean property that overlooks Elger Bay. There is a trail down to the water (the neighbors helped point us past the "private driveway" sign. All the basics were supplied. Stop at Wit's End Bookstore in Stanwood on your way thru town!

The view was great. The house was roomy. Nice balcony upstairs, nice deck downstairs.
This rental worked great for us. We had no issues. The view was great. When we wanted to the beach we drove a short distance and went to state park.

Camabo island
The property is clean. The beds are very comfy. The only disappoints are 1) I have to call to get the check in information, 2) Wi-Fi issue, 3) the toiletries only last for two days so we have to buy additional supply. Overall it is a dream vacation.

Perfect getaway spot
We loved staying at this serene and clean home away from home for a long weekend. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat on the water. Plenty of space to sleep up to 6 people.

If I were to write a book and want to hide away, this is the place. Great view of the islands and water. Very nice layout, and easy to get to.

Cozy, Charming, Cozy and Amazing View
We had a wonderful stay! This is an older cottage that has been tastefully refreshed with new floors, windows, paint and tile in the bathroom. It is very cheerful and clean. The kitchen is simply supplied with pots, pans, wine glasses/opener, a Mr. Coffee drip and a Kruig coffee machine. The view is spectacular! If sunsets are your thing, this is your place. This a VERY high bank property. If you have small kids/dogs, always keep an eye on them if they are in the backyard. We never did find the walking path to the beach. No matter. We had fun all the same. I go to Camano Island every year to visit family. I hope when we go next year this place is available. I will book again. In other words, I give this place my highest recommendation.
