It was the cheapest room I could find and that’s the only thing.
Hello there I hope your doing well. I apologize for this email because I have to inform you of a traumatic situation I encountered at a hotel that's is owed through choice hotels. I do want to say before I explain that I have booked through your choice hotels plenty of times and I always have had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately this last stay I had a very traumatizing experience. I booked a room for a week through a 3rd party and I am trying to work on getting the refund for that. I have the understanding thats who I'm responsible in contacting to get my refund I just felt it necessary to share this with you. The Fri, sat and Sun I stayed in the room I woke up with bites on my arms and legs and certain areas of my stomach that may have been exposed while sleeping, new bites appeared every morning so I didn't stay Mon night but I returned to the room to do some work. My computer was set up there, I sat on the bed for a about 10 minutes and felt a pinch or bite on my left arm close to my elbow. I immediately got off the bed and started to strip it of its sheets one by one looking to see what had bit me. I had a raised red mark that immediately was itchy. As I continued to remove the blankets and sheets I also unzipped the bed slip and examined the mattress. As I reached the head of the mattress I noticed a small black bug which I identified to be a bed bug. Without thinking I immediately reach to smush the bug and kill it. Blood was smeared on the mattress where the bug was killed. I immediately gathered my belongings and went to the front desk to inform them. Tina who was the general manager on site followed me up to the room to look through it's herself. As I show her the bites of my arm and show her the exact spot I killed the bug she seen the bloodstain but immediately stated she did not see any evidence that would indicate a bed bug infestation. As we headed back to the front desk I had all the cards for the door and receipt that I handed.

Good security, lots of grass, clean rooms, good air conditioner and good beds
There was no one at the check-in desk when I arrived and the phone just rang & rang. I tried for 30 minutes to check-in and finally gave up. Very slow elevator and pet charges

I like pets but accommodations for this type of business segment shouldn't be reserved for pets.
The first room I was shown had a peculiar odor. The staff's comment: I've broken my nose so many times, I can't smell anything anymore.
Definitely, not a strong selling point or comment to make.

Location and price were great. It's close enough to the business and food choices but far enough away to be quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were quiet.
It is set up to be a long term stay so there was not a couch and only a double bed. But did have a kitchenette. Just a few little things (the toilet ran all night and the room beside us had a smoker and the smell came into our room through the bathroom vent)

The price was cheaper than others.
It took a while to get someone to the service desk although it was 130 am. I never saw a front desk presence. I left at 8 am.

Did not eat Breakfast
This was more like a hostile than a hotel. The price point was definitely not equal to the quality of the room. The bed was a double, which wasn't the issue, it was a single mattress on a metal frame. This is an efficiency, so I can understand the lower quality, but I felt like this was transitional housing instead of a hotel.

Clean and staff was very accommodating
Not a typical hotel situation. Very basic accommodations. Appreciated the fridge. Shower did not work in unit 310.

The hotel looked like it was brand new, however the entire top floor was smoking at it STUNK!!!! It stated non-smoking in the description and the staff would not work with me to get a non-smoking room. However when I came back in after going to my car to assess the reservation and the front desk clerk was out back smoking a cigarette, I understood the problem.
10.0 / 10.0
I was in the middle of the hotel, so I didn't hear all the interstate noise.
Since I had never stayed with you before, I was happy there were towels in the room and I had all my body wash and shampoo with me. A very minimal approach. If you are renting these rooms out, it would be nice to have at least soap in the room.

The rooms were disgusting. The staff was very unfriendly. The beds were tiny and looked and felt like cots. The whole place smelled awful.
