Owner was very responsive.
No flat sheet on bed in twin room, no lamp on night stand in twin room, had to walk downstairs at night to use bathroom to avoid waking up person sleeping in bedroom on second floor, which has ensuite bathroom.

It was cozy and warm. The view was great and the location spot on for walking downtown and seeing the sights.
Nothing negative to say.

Amazing location and plenty of space.
Dishes were put away dirty, shower had mold in it and the place feels like it is sliding off the side of the hill.

No breakfast. Very difficult to get to property. Difficult parking.
Access. Parking.

It was a great location to the old church and cemetery. It was also fun staying in such an old house. It would be neat to see a history of the house printed out.
Being that it is old. It has a strong, musty smell.

The house was lovely, the location was perfect!
There was a hot water issue the weekend we stayed there.

Incredible location with friendly and helpful neighbors, that allows you to walk to everything in only a few minutes. The house is a very charming and cozy inside. They have a million dollar view from the back balcony of the train tunnel that is unfortunately mostly blocked by the foliage. This would be my one suggestion for improvement, trim the foliage to take advantage of the view. This was our first, but definitely not our last trip to Harpers Ferry and we’ll definitely stay here again when we come back. The host had great communication and the house was spotless when we arrived. Parking is right in front of the house and can accommodate two vehicles. Like some have said, parking is a little tight, but as long as you don’t drive a dually you should be fine!

Town was in walking distance to everything.
The road to the location was scary narrow and parking was scary.

The location, the cosyness.
If you plan to stay longer, no washing machine on site.

The location is perfect!
The beds were great.
Cute furnishings
There were some issues in the bathroom that needed fixing.
It's not ideal parking.
I felt it was overpriced.
And 10 am check out is too early.

The location is excellent. Close enough to walk to the coffee shop but far enough away to feel residential. We enjoyed watching the trains cross the river. The interior of the house is welcoming and homey.
The house is showing its age on the outside in a few places.

Location in Harper's Ferry was great. Instructions for parking clear and room for two cars. Very comfortable and all needed equipment, kitchen tools and supplies were there.
We understand that there were likely some issues that prompted use of air fresheners, but the strong freshener odor was overwhelming. We unplugged the electric ones. It was not a problem for us, but explaining that it's really 1 full bath ensuite with one of the bedrooms and 1 half bath would help viewers.

A cute and quirky cottage in a great location. Perfect size for 4 people. Kitchen was well stocked.

The location was perfect! And we loved how old the house was!
