The location was just what I wanted to allow me to get to the hospital on foot to visit my wife, who had surgery.
I complained by e-mail to the hosts that the oven was malfunctioning, but they did not reply.

Door code was complicated. Host did not reply for an hour. When she did, it was on a different phone, she did not help and she did not apologize. She thought her instructions, which she reminded me I had seen the night before, were sufficient.
The sofa bed was only suitable for someone under five foot three. I am five foot eight. WiFi was inadequate which became quite an important issue. The microwave, grill combi had no instructions. Despite being familiar with micro-waves, I couldn't use it. Only one guest towel. No working bulb in bedside lamp.

Loved the upstairs kitchen area, very spacious and light
Bedroom was very small, not a problem except there was very limited storage which makes it difficult for longer stays

clean, quiet, friendly staff
small bathroom, garden was not clean

Location was good for the event we were attending
Picked the property for the terrace. There was no terrace, contacted host and response was "I am afraid you will need to speak to bookings.com" I did think that they might contact you themselves.

Self contained unit. Fairly quiet and good location for local amenities and Southampton Common. .
The microwave can be situated at the eye level. Not floor level. As there is no main oven. I was on on my knees to read the tiny dial settings.

It was advertised as a luxury "apartment". I do not believe that to be true. The "apartment" was so small myself (female) and a (male) work colleague were really quite uncomfortable trying to manoeuvre around eachother, having minimal if any personal space. I had to leave the privacy of the room for a while every time he wanted to use the bathroom. Plus the room smells for ages after. A shared bathroom is fine but nothing stated the bathroom would be inside one persons private space, never had a shared bathroom experience like this before. Shared toilets are usually in a common space accessable to both parties without having to announce or interrupt anything/anyone to do so!
As for parking that's a disgusting false advertisement! There is a just basic 2 car driveway as it's just a normal house that's been converted into 5 extremely small "apartments" so you don't state correct information on parking because only 2 cars maybe 3 if you block one in can actually park on the drive! I had to park my car quite far away one night because of this! It's was very unsafe and very daunting for me having to walk back on my own at night in an area I do not know.
The price for all this was a joke! over 100 a night for me to sit in my car most evenings because of the uncomfortable closeness my self again (female) and my colleague (male) were subjected to! You couldn't have a private conversation on the phone in any room and actually keep it private! I could even hear the pople in the next box flat.
There was a very bright outside light that was right above the bedroom window and clicked on and off continually throughout the night disturbing my sleep. The curtains are so transparent I could see people walking past outside! so safe to assume they see me when I've got the light on in the evening?!
I'm actually extremely disappointed!

It was clean
Customer service was very rude

Comfy appartment and bed. Great shower. I had to work the week and WiFi was fine for it. Lovely location for walks around the Common, and Sainsbury's and a pharmacy right there too. Also a very nice hairdresser! I didn't try out the local pubs but will next time! I prefer a flat over hotel so i can cook for myself and overall I was happy with this flat and would definately stay again. Damage deposit was returned promptly after my stay.
Cute and handy kitchenette but really needs more equipment, especially cutlery - 2 of each is just not enough when cooking too.
I felt a bit bombarded with details about damage fees etc, including again in a paper file on arrival when really I could have done with basic info such as Wi-Fi password, how to find channels on the TV (was some family setting) where to put glass waste etc
Still, minor issues though to tweak..
2.0 / 5.0
1). Location was perfect for where I needed
2). Self check in was easy and emails were sent promptly
3). Clean facilities
4). Although electric heating, it worked very well
5). TV had Netlfix installed, very good but basic TV
1). The bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, left after 3 nights with little sleep as springs were very obvious.
2). WI-FI cut out on my last night.
3). Only one plug socket in bed room
4). Kitchen was very basic with microwave oven
3). Overall expensive for what I got
4). Very busy road outside and could here from the front apartment clearly, again not helping with the sleep

Good location. Easy access to bus routes. Grocery store 1/2 block away. Several ethnic restaurants around the corner. Great pub 3 block walk.
Bed was uncomfortable. I could feel springs through thin mattress lining. Side walls not supportive. I rolled off bed as I turned over. I am not a heavy weight person. I emailed to property manager to advise but got no acknowledgement.

The apartment was very clean. The person (Kelly) we dealt with at the property (on line) was friendly and helpful. The apartment was well equipped - cooking things and washing machine. A Sainsburys Local supermarket is on the corner.
There is only parking for 2 cars (which was made clear before hand) and there are 4 flats. Fortunately there were only 2 cars there when we were staying. You can't park on the road outside - double yellow lines, so otherwise have to try to park in a side road a little way off.

Very good shower
Very dirty, in the lounge spiders everywhere, the settee and bed very old fashioned you could feel the springs in both, not good, very uncomfortable and nowhere to put your clothes?

Everything was great. Especially the location and the apartment itself.
The bed could have been a little bit more comfortable.

Place looked new and therefore clean on arrival
Although new, the place was badly built and somethings didn’t work. Poorly equipped, like no frying pan, no knives in kitchen to cut vegetables / meat. Really disgusting outside with pieces of wood lying around, the garden was just weeds and the apartment was outside an old shed that you had to walk past. Far from luxury, this place is misleading. Should be renamed to remove the word luxury.

facilities brilliant, washer dryer, oven/microwave, big TV, etc.
apartment 5 is at the side/back of the building so very quiet, definitely quieter than a hotel.
nice to have space to move around in which you don’t get with a hotel either
decor was basic but fresh and clean
not dislikes as such, just things that would have enhanced my stay : 1) net curtains. being on the ground floor it lacked privacy so I taped bags to the window. 2) poor quality mattress. mattress was thin and had 0 support, although it didn’t cause sleepless nights. 3) garden. was messy and unkept. would have been nice if there was some chairs or a bench and an umbrella.
these are just my opinion, certainly nothing bad at the property at all, only space to improve what is already very good

The room is tidy and modern with a nice kitchen and dining area. Although it is next to a busy road, as the room is at the back of the house, it is not loud at all. There is a bus stop and a grocery store nearby.
The towels were dirty and smelly so we could not use them at all. The location is quite far from the city center. Although it is possible for more than two people to stay in the accommodation, I would not recommend it, as the couch in the living room area is not the most comfortable. (for us it was not a problem as it was only two people staying there)

Comfortable . Easy to get around
Garden was dirty. Some chairs and table would be great!
2.5 / 5.0
many things. no soap for first two days.
no welcome back to give wi fi and other things as the host told to refer to.
smelly throw. broken bedstead.
dust on table lamp next my head. slow response and referral to cleaners all the time. host seems to be away for long time. loose sink taps.
noise from next room. to me this is not luxury when the flat is actually a room in a house. has no soap in a pandemic situation. host told the throw is for decoration but it was not washed and that freaked me out due to high cases of COVID. here. kettle was scaled indicted low level of cleaning. I do think this is not acceptable in terms of hygiene and safety from
Covid.

A good location close to university and hospital with Southampton Common across the road.
Rooms were very small and cooking facilities were basic.
4.0 / 5.0
Perfect location with a handy supermarket 2 minutes walk away.
The bedroom was very cramped with hardly any storage space. The sofa in the living room was very hard and uncomfortable. We arrived early but later in the day there was no parking left.
2.5 / 5.0
Flat 2 was the best option of the 2 apartments
Assumed that that there would be extra bedding for the sofa beds, as booked for 4 adults
Flat 5 was only a single bed and booked 2 apartments for 4 adults (in total) . I rang a number with no response, left a message and had to chase again later with someone picking up the call. The garden was a unkept, so not sure why selling "luxury" with garden view. the dirty sheets were piled high

Great hosts, very accomodating easy to access and very close to general hospital. Fully working kitchen with fridge and a TV. It wasnt noisy which was great during the day.
I feel that it could be a bit cleaner especially the bathroom. Also, as I was using the room to sleep during the day (as I was working at night ), I found the rooms to be very bright, which is normally a good thing, and curtains are very thin so couldnt sleep easily. I suppose thay in the winter, things are different. I would suggest changing the curtains for blinds, especially in the room.

Walking distance to a sainsburys local
No parking available on the drive
“Luxury” is a bit of a stretch. It’s basic with only 2 of every crockery/cutlery.
I had to chase check in information
4.0 / 5.0
Nicely decorated and clean.
They was a weekly clean up.
The bed and sofa were a bit uncomfortable.
A little bit more of kitchen stuff to be able to cook for people doing long stays would be lovely.
Would be nice to have some cleaning products for people doing long stays.
