Good place to stay for a girl's weekend away.
Lots of plants indoors and out.

We had a great trip to Duluth. The Host was kind and very accommodating. The house had a cute set up and was clean when we arrived. One of the best features was the outdoor patio where we enjoyed two of our evenings.
Thank you to the host for everything

We had a great stay. It’s a very cute house. We loved the patio. Very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend.

The house is super cute and has tons of character--the backyard and garden are great, too. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfy and the kids enjoyed Netflix during the rain. There's so much within walking distance and getting in and out by car was fine (a bit more complicated with construction, but not a big deal), and the Positively 3rd Street Bakery a few blocks away is amazing and the Chester Creek area was lovely for a little light hiking.

Tamara’s home is very unique in its decor. She has covered the needed amenities very well. We were a girls weekend getaway but amenities offered will cover a family with children very well.

Nice classic home to stay in. There is a coop grocery with deli close by. Easy walk to downtown and the lake area.
Stairs to the bedrooms a bit steep, but manageable as long as you are mobile enough.

Great location. It felt very homey and had a lot of extras in the kitchen that would have been great if we would have stayed longer. We didn’t realize the owner lived downstairs, though that wasn’t really an issue; just unexpected. Overall a great stay.
4.7
We had the things we needed in the house and it was comfortable but did not realize the owner was going to be in a separate basement apartment while we were there. It wasn't a problem, just unexpected.

It was a very cozy home with enough sleeping places for all 6 of our party. The one thing I didn’t realize is that owners have a separate place they stay in (essentially the basement). It had an entirely different entrance and we never actually saw them so it’s like they weren’t even there. But we didn’t expect there to be “quiet hours” (11pm) due to the booking being a house. As a bunch of young adults hanging out on New Years weekend, we had late nights hanging out and having fun. That being said we definitely were up and hanging out long past 11:00 pm and we never got any complaints from the owners, nor did we ever see them so it really didn’t hinder our experience, just surprised me is all.
About the quiet hours, maybe that was stated elsewhere in the booking information and I didn’t see it. Still overall a great experience!

Cute, clean house in a convenient location. Tamara was very responsive. It was great!

We loved the house, but we probably won’t stay there again.
The house was super cute and has everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We loved the outdoor space and The bathroom seemed clean and updated.
There are two rooms upstairs and one on the main level which with younger kids didn’t work that great for us. The stairs are very steep and the bathroom is on the main level. But the rooms were nice and had everything we needed.
One downfall what that there seemed to be someone who lived in the basement. We think this because we heard music coming from the vents all day. It wasn’t too loud-but it was there. I guess we weren’t aware that anyone else was in the house. And even though they were separate we felt awkward and like we needed to be quieter than we would have felt in the house by ourselves.
Overall the house and location were great!

Great place, fully stocked kitchen and games, clean, comfy beds and convenient location. Not the greatest neighborhood just a couple blocks over. Didn’t realize the owner lived in the basement.

Communication with owner was great, we asked for Iron, she brought us iron, I asked for a bike lock she brought me a bike lock. That was very nice of her. I believe she does live below the rental.
We were there on a VERY hot weekend. Temps were >90 degrees everyday. This home has AC window units in 2 of the 3 bedrooms so one room was left without AC which was warm.
Everything else was as advertised and if you plan on being out and about in Duluth this would be a good place to stay.

The small house is quaint and cutely decorated. It has everything you need and proximity to downtown was perfect. She even shared fresh peas from her garden

Cozy home with a great location for many Duluth attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
Would have been a tight fit for sleeping arrangements for six, but with only three, it was comfy.
Kind and communicative host.

Adorable house! We had a great time!

Being right in town, we were able to take the Lake Walk to Canal Park. Tamara was wonderful host and was quick to respond when we had to reach out. She also recommended a couple places nearby with creeks and waterfalls if we wanted to hike. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and will plan to stay there again next time we travel to Duluth.

Nestled into the hillside, has made a very cool historic home into a lovely space inside and out! If you appreciate the care and dedication that goes into modernizing a 150+ year home, you will love this adorable space. The outdoor space is amazing as well, with a grill fire pit and gardens galore. The house is squeaky clean and has e everything you’d need to function away from home. We loved our stay at Amber’s place and have already booked it again for next summer!

Great stay! Good location. Close to things. House was very clean. Had everything you needed.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Beds are comfy and location is a short walk to the Canal Street area. This is someone's home so I was not used to all the items and stuff being in the common rooms but it was clean and served its purpose. One other downside is that when all four of us were in the living room area one person always had to sit on a dining room chair since the only furniture was a 3 person couch.

Our one night stay (for nephews wedding) was perfect!! Just be aware that bathroom is on main floor and 2 larger bedrooms are upstairs! All in all this place worked for us!!

We had a great time on our road trip and the house was very comfortable. Thank you Tamara!

The home and check-in process were good! The area is a little iffy in Duluth, but that is no fault of the owner. I enjoyed my stay, but my sister was a little nervous about the area.
4.7
The location of this property was great. Lovely back yard. Kitchen equipment well supplied.
We did not feel the description of the beds was accurate. We always book so we each gave our own bed. We thought there were 2 twin beds in one room. It was a trundle bed but mattress was not on trundle and the room was very small and would have been difficult for older adults to get up during the night! Also, we could not find the sheets for the pullout couch. One of our group was unable to come so The bed situation worked for us.

It is a unique place. Artwork and items are really well thought-out. It has everything that you need. Outside, the garden is wonderful. A big negative for us were the stairs and bathroom situation. The stairs to the bedroom level were so steep, they were treacherous. The bathroom is on the main floor, at the back of the house. Using the stairs two or three times a night is too difficult. And dangerous. We would not stay there again for that reason.

Host was very approachable and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and felt at home.

Great experience
Tamara’s house is in a great location and close to all major attractions in Duluth. It was very clean and Tamara was responsive to all questions.

Stayed here during my son's baseball tournament. Enjoyed the fire place and the back deck. Beautiful gardens along with the cutest bunny whom we had to keep scaring off. Best of all we all had our own rooms to decompress in at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice and clean...but a bit dated. Would have loved to use the back deck, but weather didn't permit. I would have liked to have a reading lamp of some sort in the living room instead of just the over head light. And if you're going to cook, you might want to bring your own oil/spices (not a lot of options). Bathroom was clean and water was great pressure and nice and hot...and the bed were very comfortable! Location was great for walking places. Overall, it was a lovely stay.
