About this apartment rental
This beautiful designer house is packed with rustic charm and modern style. Bright, airy with touches of art. You will enter the home through one of three full glass French doors. When entering you will immediately get the idea that a lot of time and heartfelt thought went into making this your home away from home. The deep dark saw cut timber shelves and the fully stocked coffee bar on your left is accented by the view through the large glass panel that shows off the impeccable tile work for the spa shower. Turning left you enter into the galley kitchen which boasts an 8 foot walnut butcher block top. Under that is a Sharp microwave drawer, (cool huh) and a small refrigerator. There is also a 2 burner induction cooktop with a full array of cookware provided. The sink is easily a foot deep and has a 1hp disposal at the bottom of it.
Looking past the kitchen you will find a pair of bar height chairs and a two person bar table, perfect for hosting your own happy hour or two while listening to the surround system music from the 65 inch Samsung Oled television. Yes there is Netflix and Prime Video for free. Yes there is FREE wifi. Once you’ve exhausted yourselves in conversation settle into the down-filled leather sofa and chill out for the rest of the evening.
UNLESS you decide all this plugged in stuff can be had at home. Then you can head out to the North Patio and find a L shaped padded patio set wrapped around a gas fire pit. Here you can relax with a warm flame and the stars. Yes let me tell you sitting on this patio is like sitting in a forest. When you look up all you see are trees and stars. Just watch out for the squirrels and the peanut shells they drop from the 50 ft 100 year Ponderosa Pine in front of you.
Once you have had either all the fresh air or television you can take its time to retreat to the bedroom suite. A queen size bed with a Chattam and Wells pillow top mattress flows into the full size spa-like bathroom. The bed is comfortable and has an assortment of pillows, we hope you find one you like. The two person shower (what? In a tiny house!) has individually controlled shower heads. Two shower heads (one for each of you) and a 16” rain head shower that will light up from blue, brrr to green.. getting there to red.. ah yes thats the right temp. There is also a hand held to get those hard to reach spots, or just shave your legs. There is also a separate room for the toilet since we all need a little privacy while taking care of reading our texts and farcebook.
In the morning the coffee and tea bar is just outside your door. Filled with coffee, teas, creams, sugars and honey. The coffee pot is state of the art and makes coffee or tea and it makes it by the cup or a whole pot. Oh and don’t go searching for water if the machine is empty there is a water fill right next to the coffee maker(Cool huh? again!) The dual wall fully glass cups let you view the richness of the potion you just brewed.
Oh did I mention that your feet will never be cold here. The thermostat for the Radiant Heated Floor is set between 65 to70 degrees and when you step into the tiny house or swing your feet onto the tile floor when waking up you will immediately feel the warmth of the floor travel into your toes and souls of your feet.

Great location nestled among the trees for a jumping off point for all the wonderful things Flagstaff has to offer. We hope to be back!

Such a cool little place. We will definitely stay again! Owner was super responsive by text. Enjoyed hanging by the gas firepit in the evening. Comfortable bed, kithcen has all you need. They even leave you fresh muffins when you check in! Nice touch :)

Tiny house was well laid out and well appointed . Grounds were snow covered and stairs were not fully shoveled. There was no handrail for entrance staircase so it was a bit hazardous and would be problematic for older guests. Pump for heating system was noisy and interfered with sleep. Host was out of country and difficult to communicate with.

Just an amazing little home stay that was just perfect for a weekend getaway. Outside and inside were nicely done with an at home feeling. The views were amazing and will definitely do it again.

The tiny house was quite comfortable, and the location was perfect for us. We spent most evenings on the great patio under the stars. There is no heater as pictured, but There was a nice fire pit that did the trick of keeping us warm in the chilly evening air. The owner was very responsive to replacing the gas tank for the fire pit. We really enjoyed our time there.

My spouse was pleased with my selection of VRBO options.
The bbq and cooktop were a benefit as we ate by the firepit one evening surrounded by pines trees.
There were a couple concerns. 1-plugged shower heads, 2- comfort level of mattress.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the rustic atmosphere of the Tiny house Basecamp.

I had the most amazing time while renting this property from start to finish! The property is beautiful and the home itself is modern and comfortable. I sat and watched the full moon rise while enjoying the fire pit. A quick walk and you are in forests and meadows that a gorgeous and peaceful. The property owners were kind and helpful. I highly recommend this tiny home and look forward to my next escape!

It was a nice place overall if you like the tiny home feel/lifestyle. It did come with a couple tiny home quirks that made it things a bit hard at sometimes but overall my wife and I had a good time staying here on our honeymoon.

This tiny home was perfect for a couple nights away in Flagstaff. The neighborhood was quiet and right in all the trees only about 15 minutes from downtown. There was soft music playing when we arrived and made the whole thing so nice for my husband and I. The shower with the three shower heads with a rainfall shower was amazing! This was one of the cutest rentals we’ve stayed in, and I recommended this to anyone visiting Flagstaff!

What a fun property! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating areas for reading, resting and watching stars. Unique features like double shower and sliding barn doors, screen doors for airflow and tall pines make this property enjoyable as a traveller. The Pumphouse Wash trail is close by and offers a fun path through the woods. The internet was slightly spotty which made streaming a movie at night difficult (it did ultimately work out), but this house has so much else to offer! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautifully designed and decorated, modern conveniences. My personal favorite was the double shower with rain shower head. What? In a tiny home? Yes!

Beautiful home with a hassle free stay.
We had an amazing stay in this cozy tiny house. The entire property was beautiful and well kept. Greg was an amazing host that made checking in and utilizing the property as easy as can be. The very clear instructions on the amenities were much appreciated. The only improvement would be some soundproofing in the closet with the water heater next to the bedroom that heats the home through the floor.
