About this house rental

Bright, private furnished 1100 sq. ft cabin at quiet north-end of Salt Spring Island. On Main floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with microwave, cookware, utensils, pantry staples + washer/dryer; a study and a Queen bedroom with spectacular northeast view of Trincomali Straight, Galiano Island, and the Cascade Mountains; a double-height living room with comfy sofa with foldout single bed, huge windows, and ceiling fan; a bathroom with towels and shower. Loft accessible by ladder also has Queen bed, desk and chair. Cabin is perfect for a sabbatical. Private driveway, propane BBQ, patio table and 4 chairs, firepit, porch seating, on 5 acres of coniferous trees, with a herb garden, orchard (apples, cherries, grapes, berries, figs in summer), compost, and clothesline. Groceries can be delivered from town. Watch deer and eagles from your sunny deck. On quiet road leading to a trailhead, close to farm stands with the best sourdough on the Island, beaches, and ferries to Vancouver Island and Vancouver. High-speed internet. Owner-occupied property next-door. Not suitable for young children because of ladder to second bedroom.
