The historic market town of Ross on Wye is perfectly situated for a break in the beautiful Wye Valley, set amongst picturesque south Hereford countryside, close to the Welsh mountains in the west, the Malvern Hills and Forest of Dean. Good walking from the door to the Wye Valley Walk and within easy driving distance of the cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester.
Visit Symonds Yat Rock, famous for its nesting peregrine falcons, the Forest of Dean for cycling and walking and the Wye Valley for rock climbing, fishing and canoeing. Within easy driving for racing at Cheltenham, Chepstow and Worcester. Another popular location for climbers and walkers is the Malverns, Brecon Beacons and Skirrid Fawr. This property is set in a large garden on a quiet private lane and offers guests a peaceful area to retreat to while still being within easy walking distance of the Town centre which hosts an array of bars, shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy.

One of the quietest places we have stayed. All worked as described. 8 or 9 minutes walk from town centre. We only used two bedrooms, but would strongly recommend E.g for a family with a granny.

The property was everything we expected and was well stocked with everything we needed . The location was very good , close to all amenities, shops, restaurants etc. communication with the owner was great . Will definitely be returning

This house has plenty of space, with rooms all good sizes and lots of kitchenware and utensils. Perfect for very young children, and with a lovely garden too. We would definitely book to stay here again
