Free on street parking is readily available a short walk away from the property
Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Lovely apartment in the perfect location, overlooking the beautiful church, positioned within the centre a few steps always from pubs and shops. Parking in the centre wasn’t a problem for us. To have some outdoor space was great especially as it was a very sunny week so it was nice to be able to sit outside at times. Just a few things minor things that would make this apartment even better, a parasol for outside as some days it was far to hot to sit in the sun (we caught the heatwave) and the garden has no shade during the day, we were unable to locate a hoover, just a small dustpan and brush and staying for a full week with a dog we would have definitely have given it a quick hoover a few days to keep things clean/tidy. Two sets of keys would be a good idea especially if there are two couples staying in the apartment as this would make it difficult if both couples when out separately.
Overall though we had a lovely week and I would recommend Church view apartment.

We had a wonderful short break and the apartments location was absolutely perfect. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed to make the most of our time. Really special staying so central and to be able to see the church in the evenings and pop out for food. We will definately stay again! X

Overall we had a great stay in this very comfortable apartment. The terrace is lovely and a great asset. It was well located with a lovely view of the church.
Unfortunately the oven wasn’t working and we did let the team know, fortunately Stow has many great places to eat.
A few changes would be really helpful. Some baking trays as cooking tricky without them. More mugs (only 4) would be great and perhaps a refresh of the crockery, lots of chips. The shower head needs replacing as it was cracked and leaked. Blind in one of the bedrooms was broken. Not having a freezer wasn’t a major problem for us but might be worth being explicit about this in the description.
Overall a good stay with a few easily resolved issues to make it even better. It’s a great apartment, comfortable with a lovely view.

This apartment was stunning and in the most perfect location to explore the village. Parking was pretty easy in the market square if you’re out exploring for the main part of the day and it’s just a short drive to get to other villages. There was a bus that stops a minutes walk from the property but I’m unsure how regular as we didn’t use them.
Very clean apartment that has been furnished so beautifully. It’s worth noting there isn’t a freezer, and upon checking the website, we realised there never claims to be one but we hadn’t seen that and found out upon arrival. It could also do with some baking trays to cook in the oven. But apart from that we had everything we could’ve needed and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Located just off the main square opposite the church. Apartment is above a shop which is only open weekdays 9-5. Milk and cookies provided which is a nice touch, small kitchen and lounge on first level with two good size bedrooms upstairs. Only criticism would be there is only one set of keys which was tricky.

A cosy apartment - best for only a couple perhaps. No problems parking in the square. Excellent kitchen, good storage space and size of sitting room. Liked the roof terrace .
Lighting could be better and maybe the bathroom could do with a bit of updating..

We had a lovely girls weekend in the Cotswolds. Location of the apartment was wonderful, easy check in, lovely decor. The cleaning could definitely have been better, there was a bag of rubbish left by the previous tenants on the terrace and some stains on the towels provided. Otherwise would happily stay again

this is a lovely apartment, in a great location! there was a problem parking, as i had to park a 10 min walk away! church clock bells ringing hourly through the night was annoying, but stow and surrounding area are lovely!

Lovely apartment in a great location in the centre of stow. We were 4 adults and it was slightly on the small side for 4 adults (could do with an extra chair in the lounge area) but had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, lovely garden terrace.

What a wonderful, peaceful, and safe stay my husband, daughter, and I had. The apartment was perfect with special touches throughout: biscuits on counter, milk in fridge, toiletries wrapped up in bathroom. There was much to do in town and the restaurants were wonderful and accommodating. I only wished we could have stayed longer!!

Enjoyed a lovely week in Stow on the Wold. The apartment was perfectly located near the church. Stow is a busy little town but the apartment was quiet and private.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was well situated, very clean and cosy. Unfortunately the bed was small and not very comfortable so by the 3rd night my back was very sore. A better mattress would really make a big difference.

We had a nice comfortable stay in the apt.
It was warm and quiet.
A few issues to report;
Beds & linen need to be upgraded.
Hob needs attention as we couldn’t get the rings to heat up on the first day.
We couldn’t open the door to the outside space at the back.
The street door is difficult to open causing potential fire risk.
We had to change the smoke alarm battery in the middle of the night in the front bedroom.
No terrestrial TV channels.
Cooking utensils a bit lacking.

Facilities are good. One minor thing missing…bath mat and hand towels would be handy. Otherwise good place to stay. Thank you.

Church View is an exquisite apartment. It is beautiful! It is comfortable, well equipped and in a great location, a stone’s throw from the centre of beautiful Stow on the Wold and opposite gorgeous St Edwards Church. It has the most beautiful cathedral style ceiling upstairs and I mean cathedral! By contrast it has lovely low beamed ceilings elsewhere, I spent most of the week looking up at them! The roof terrace next to the cosy kitchen is an added bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we LOVED it. We will be back! Xx

Stayed for 2 nights September 2022 - what can I say? Super clean and super comfy. Excellent location. Well maintained.Would highly recommend this apartment. The Church bells are not a problem at all !! Lovely walks in the area and quaint shops.

First stay in Cotswolds
Great apartment in good location, liked the self check in and check out and worked well. Never no problem for parking. Lovely terrace to sip your g & t in the evening.
Only one small thing, no where to store your ice cubes for my g & t.

It was the perfect home base for exploring the Cotswolds. The place was across the square from a bunch of great restaurants and shops and a grocery store. It’s was super cute and a perfect place to rest after a day of touring around.

Great apartment, beautifully decorated with a rooftop terrace. It even has a perfect view of the church from bed!

Perfect location!
This was a lovely apartment right on the square! We also really appreciated the recommendations in the binder. We tried the wine cellar and the old butcher! Both were excellent! I was worried about parking but lots of places to park!

Great Apartment
The apartment was great, but I would suggest that there should be some signage ( even if just on the interior vestibule door) that would identify the apartment door as that of “Church View”. I wasn’t sure if I was entering the correct apartment or not.

A beautifully styled relaxing apartment
We had a lovely few days at Church View apartment.
it's a very calming and thoughtfully styled place. .
The location is very convenient right in the middle of Stow on the Wold but an advantage to be up from the street level.
There were only two of us - mother and daughter, and it was lovely to have a double bedroom each, we did wonder if the lounge seating would be a bit tight if there were two couples - there is one sofa and a small chair. We loved sitting on the terrace which is a real suntrap
It was ideal for us though and we had a really lovely time would recommend the place and would definitely return.
Just a note for parking for future guests - we had no problem, you can park for 2 hours in the square (which is really almost just outside) and there are no restrictions from 6pm - 9 am.(so essentially you can happily park from 4pm - 11 am ; - ) )
