The “bedroom” with twin beds is a converted dining room with a kid trundle bed. Screwed up our plans and had to disinvite a friend who was going to stay with us. Plus there were no blinds on that window. Place was NOT

Great location and experience.
The stairs are a bit steeper than we imagined, so may be difficult for those with mobility issues.
but they were not a problem for our family and allowed for a spectacular view of the water!

This is a family friendly home experience. Total privacy, quiet and well stocked home. Perfect water pressure, hot water in abundance with an escape to nature. Book it now!!!

It was wonderful to have this home the week of Christmas! I will say that the garage is facing the driveway so you need to haul your luggage around a gravel area and a few steps to get to the front door. It was wonderful being able to bring our two dogs and they enjoyed the space so much!

Nothing to do in the area. Very boring. Lots of stains on the kitchen furniture and the throw pillows. The firepit and grilling area isn’t inviting at all. The cleanest part of the whole place was the area above the garage. House was very spacious and cute.

This was our first time to Lake Anna & we'll definitely be back! This house is in a beautiful setting - a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees & privacy and a view down to the lake. The home has all the essentials: fully equipped kitchen, a great deck & fantastic screened porch, hammock, fire pit, wifi, easy parking on a paved driveway. We came for a girls' getaway, but it would definitely work for families (kids' play area outside, water table on the deck, a crib, etc.) We also enjoyed using the 2 kayaks available! We weren't working, but the wifi worked well for streaming and we had good access for our phones (Verizon).
A few FYIs for future renters: this seems like primarily a rental property - all the essentials were very clean (kitchen, bathrooms, linens), but the home is overdue for a deep clean (dirty baseboards, cobwebs in corners, etc.) and the furniture shows a bit of wear. Towels are provided, but just one set per sleeping spot - so if you need/want more or prefer higher grade towels, bring your own. The kitchen has a full range of spices, but bring Ziplocs, aluminum foil, cooking oil, etc. There's a Food Lion 15 minutes away.
The property manager was responsive the day we checked in, but then never replied to a question a few days later. The gas grill wouldn't light and the screened doors to the deck have issues & didn't keep bugs out. A welcome book would be helpful (directions for the house, restaurants, things to do). But other than that, great stay!

The house feels cozy and well equipted. The lake views from the house are amazing and so relaxing. We really loved kayaking, that was the first time with the girls and it was a great experience. Be aware though that the water are not suitable for swimming. On the cons side one of the bedrooms has no curtains.. and the communication with the property service provider was very poor ( they actually didn't know the house that well and forbidden us use part of the property although it was eventually a mistake). There are actually 2 houses - the main large one in front of the lake and a smaller one which has another great unit above the garage and laundry machines.

Convenient living space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice setting. Water access was great. Used kayaks at the house. Would return!

We enjoyed our stay is this Beautiful, roomy, well-equipped home. Pluses: Lots of space , Great Lake access, baby:toddler friendly- one of the few places we looked at online that had a crib on site. Well- equipped kitchen; lots of games, nice spot for wildlife watching; Also easy access to grocery store and other amenities.
Minuses: As others have noted, the internet/WiFi is nearly non existent and cell phone reception can be spotty and limited (we all had 1 bar the entire time)
As you can see by the photos, there are lots of stairs , so if you, or someone in your group has mobility issues, thus might not be the place for you.
We appreciated being able to use the kayaks and cute water table and being able to sit out on the deck or by the fire pit in the evening.

We enjoyed the stay at this home with our three boys. The home was exactly as described. We really enjoyed our time playing outside and on the lake. It would be nice if shutters or blinds were added to the kids playroom/bedroom off the kitchen to help keep the room dark for sleeping. This is the perfect place to disconnect from the world, but if you need to work bring a hot spot because the wifi is not reliable. My only complaint to the management company was their timely response to the wasp issue. There was a nest below the deck, which took the managent company three days to resolve with an exterminator. This was an issue because our child is allergic as well as the management company representative they initially sent to evaluate.

First, I understand things happen. We took a 3 night stay to a location where the only real thing to do at that time of year was the state park and the house. When things do happen however, there is an expectation that they will be resolved to mutual satisfaction.
We were welcomed after a three hour car ride with a 4 year with a non-working door code. Problem resolved after about 10 minutes. The plastic casing fell to the floor broken when we opened the door. Auspicious start. There was no welcome book explaining things as basic as the tv, fireplace, heat.
I spent at least 30 minutes trying to understand the numerous device remotes and switches in an attempt to get the fireplace working. Then another 30+ on the tv. Nada. Within an hour or so Vacasa sent a very competent, friendly and capable individual to repair. Nothing. Oh, yes, the fireplace in this unit doesn’t work. We’ll have somebody out first thing in the morning to get the tv working. He did reboot the deplorable internet which I needed to do again 2 more times during our stay.
We told Vacasa we were no longer interested in waiting around for someone to fix the tv mid-next day.
I requested via email for someone to contact me to discuss the situation. We checked out Dec 31, I have sent numerous follow up requests and have been met with a response that someone will follow up. It is now Jan 11 and while I don’t want to post this, their absolute lack of responsiveness leaves me no other choice.
If things work, or did work as they should have, I would rate this property a 5. But key elements of the home not working without disclosing such, and then no follow up merits this rating.

Amazing home
Perfect place to stay for our family. Kids are super happy with kayaking

House has a nice location on an inlet of the lake - we enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a spin. It is located near The Cove and Tim's, the main two restaurants in the area. Kitchen had everything we needed and the communication on how to access the gated neighborhood, house entry, etc., was great. We did not need to use the loft over the garage, but it would be great for families with teens or others who want their own space.
