Nice to have access to your own boat slip on the private side, however it is not in a no wake zone so it is very rough. Home was a great location for our needs, very quite neighborhood, & clean.

I'm writing this review with a heavy heart, as the name of the property, Living Like Larry, holds sentimental value to us. My dad's name is Larry, we chose this place thinking it would be a fitting tribute to his memory.
The location is secluded and quiet, but the few issues are concerning. We faced issues with the security code, not working, no keys in the lockbox. Once inside, we were hit with a strong urine odor throughout the house.
The kitchen was left with dishes having a greasy film on them. We had to wash them before using them. The room with bunk beds had writing on the ceiling that read "I am still here", which is unsettling for a child. We also found small items on the floor in one of the other bedrooms, including what appeared to be pills (which turned out to be tiny magnets).
The fridge had an ice maker and water dispenser that didn't work properly. The pet hair covering the beds, and the shed had a bike in need of repair. Air fresheners under the toilet to try and cover the smell in the home.
Communication with the host is a joke. We brought up our concerns, We were offered to have someone come and address the issues, but we didn't hear back until the next evening. By that time, we were out to dinner and continued to discuss our issues into the evening.
It's clear that the owners are not aware of the property's condition or have not taken steps to address its needs. The handful of fixes required would be simple if given attention and time.

Very nice and clean place. I would definitely come back. The only thing is that it's not as close to the lake as we would like it to be, however, they do provide 2 bicycles and it was an easy bike ride to the lake (about 1/4 mile away).

The stay was very nice, the area was quiet and peaceful.

We were very happy with our stay! Had a small hiccup with the entry code not working, but the managing company helped us through it over the phone. The home is older, but it was clean and well-kept. They had books you could read (take one, leave one) and dvd's to watch which was a great touch. We did have to search for the remote (lol); found it in the couch...along with a lot of food crumbies, game pieces & things, so that may need to be addressed. (It also means the home is enjoyed!) The beds were comfy, the showers had great water pressure and the back deck had a grill & a firepit, even though we didn't get to use them. The outside lights need the bulbs replaced (none of them worked), as well as some of the inside bulbs. We did have to try all of the light switches to see what operated what, but that was on us! I liked that we could choose a shorter stay with this home; not every rental home operates that way. We have stayed in several homes on Lake Anna for work and we definitely enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommend!!

We chose this property for location and space. My daughter was getting married nearby and we needed space for my husband and I, my sister, our son and our elderly mother. Upon arrival, we did have some difficulty with the door code, but was able to access via a lockbox key after text communication with support/local rep. We only had time to move our items into the house and then had to leave for rehearsal dinner. Upon returning at approx 9:30 pm, and everyone unpacking and getting ready for bed, we discovered one bed was completely FULL OF PET HAIR! FULL!! We then went around to the other beds and discovered some hair and unclean sheets. The beds were also missing a complete sheet set. Further inspection of the house showed other areas of uncleanliness. After starting another text communication with support, including pictures, it became clear that this was not going to be able to get resolved, as it was now after 10 pm and the house is quite remote. We had no choice but to pack up and find other accommodations. We informed them of our decision to leave and the need for a clean place to stay immediately. My daughter was getting married the next day! Needless to say, I have been attempting to get a refund but I have been met with lies and denial. They are saying I left without letting them know and it was my choice to leave. Clearly multiple text communications and photos mean nothing. Keeping my money is more important than doing the right thing for the customer.

Burnt out bulbs in Kitchen all but 1 on a vaulted ceiling.
Laundry door broken leaning against the washer.
Ice machine not working.
Coffee Pot leaks from unknown source.
Code for front door did not work, but was quickly remedy but customer service.
Boat dock is not suitable for long term docking there doesn't seem to be a wake zone in that area so a lot of plowing and even a aircraft that lands near the docks.
The house was cute and in a nice location, just a handy man to take care of some light maintenance. We enjoyed the beach, the paddle board the boat ramp was good.

The house was well appointed. Loved that there are bikes, Cornhole, bocci ball, kayaks etc...all in nice condition.
The living sofa was old and showing signs of wear and not very comfortable. But decor was cute and fit the vibe.

We needed a "support" home to support a group of women on a Christian rettreat. This worked perfectly.

Good overall.

The house was very clean and organized. I also enjoyed having lake access, it is very beautiful. However, the area is really quiet and there aren't many stores around. I found one dollar store 4 miles away. But there were no gas stations in sight. Luckily I filled up before the trip. I would certainly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to get away for the weekend.

This cute little house was spotlessly clean upon arrival! It is a nice size to spread out and get comfortable. Kitchen was ready for cooking meals and had plenty of space for your groceries. Good TV/cable/ internet access. Bathrooms came with towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a blow dryer. Bedrooms had fans.
A big THANK YOU to the hosts for making this a pet friendly rental!!!
The back yard has a big deck and large table. There is lots of privacy as this is a nicely wooded neighborhood. We enjoyed a pleasant campfire in firepit.
This house is a short walk (maybe a third of a mile?) to the community docks/common area/beach/boat ramp. The area is well maintained. Since we were there after peak season, it was a very quiet area/neighborhood.
All in all, a very pleasant stay at Lake Anna. We would rent this house again.

Property was perfect for our week at the lake. Driveway is very conducive for boat trailers. Private boat ramp very convenient and key card worked great. Laundry room bi-fold door fell off the track and thankfully didn't hit anyone or anything. Master bed step stool broke and caused a fall. Would suggest a heavier step stool and longer for us short folks. Property is very pet friendly. Very nice neighborhood and folks very friendly. Would suggest having a box of trash bags (We ran out on last day and had to use foodlion bags).

Overall a wonderful property and great location a short walk from Lake Anna. Home was very comfortable and spacious - plenty of room for our group of five to stretch out and relax. Beds were great, kitchen well equipped, brand new grill on a spacious deck was used several times. Also appreciated the two kayaks and one standup paddleboard, bicycles, and cornhole boards - all were used and enjoyed. Our dog also loved the house - especially the gray bean bag chair by the front door! The neighborhood is very peaceful and very nice to walk around. Two things to be aware of, however. First - the internet service is via satellite, and for our stay, streaming on the TV was completely unusable. I ran a speed test and got .31 Mbps download time - just awful performance. I rebooted the router and reset the connection on the TV to no avail. I tried calling our Vacasa property manager and left a voice mail but never received a call back. Related to this issue, there is a DVD player and a nice assortment of DVDs - but the player can only connect to the TV via component a/v (red/black/yellow cables)...but the TV only accepts HDMI inputs - so this, too, was unusable. In the overall scheme of things, these A/V issues did not detract much from our 4 days here. One more thing to be aware of - and this has nothing to do with the house itself. This property is on what is called the 'private side' of the lake. All of the Lake Anna boat rental locations are on the 'public side' and there is no on-water access between the two. So if you intend to take advantage of the included boat slip, you have to trailer your boat to the dock by the house. This didn't pose a huge issue, as we rented from MidAtlantic Water Sports at Pleasant Landing (also highly recommended), which is a short 10 minute drive from the house. Just be aware that you can't rent a boat and then drive it over to the house. We didn't go to Lake Anna to watch Netflix or movies - we went to relax and have fun on the water - and "Living Like Larry" was great for that and would absolutely recommend!!

This property is quite nice. Clean and lots of nice features in the yard. Kitchen is nice size and well equipped. My one complaint is that the internet service is marginal. If anyone is browsing the TV pauses unacceptably.
