It is a beautiful home in a great location. Deer passed through the property, and we were visited more than once!
The separate bedroom/bath suites provide all guests with privacy, making for a pleasant stay.

The home was the perfect place for our family. The hone had everything we needed and was super comfortable.

Over all this home was very nice. Had no tub due to leaking all the way downstairs. Not good with little ones. Jacuzzi was very small for a house that size. Several things were broken. Had a sauna in the virtual tour but it was not available. The location was good. Not a lot to do for the little ones. Had to drive a lot to find things to do.

We loved the home, the location was convenient, and the kitchen was well stocked with consumables we often have to purchase locally.

We arrived to our vacation to a dirty house, very unsettling feeling walking in to unmade beds, and left over party supplies. It took over 3 hours to get us back in after finally getting a cleaning crew to show up. Vacasa never actually answered the phone when I called upon arrival. Luckily a crew showed up and asked us to leave so they could clean. It ruined our plans for the first of our vacation and was a huge inconvenience. House was never fully cleaned, one bathroom left dirty, living room never cleaned or vacuumed. Dirty laundry left sitting in the entry of the house to greet us at our now 8:30pm check in. Not a great way to start. Hot tub was dirty, property manager never sent anyone to clean it. House is not well appointed with basic necessities. No trash bags, no paper towels, limited amount of old plates/dishes, no wine glasses, no dish soap, watered down hand soap, the worst toilet paper (takes off first layer of skin, ouch), no Kleenex’s, dirty fireplace, no gas key provided. We managed but we had to buy all disposable product. Kitchen is outdated, ovens are tiny, the stovetop stays hot (you can literally feel the heat when it’s off), no ice maker (or at least it didn’t work), extra drug had ice but it smelled like dead fish. Felt like a hodgepodge of garage sale items that needed replacing.
Positives - nice size for a large group, we were comfortable. Wifi is great. Heater works, Deer are friendly, kids lived that. TVs great for movie night, parking, nice views.

Good location, great space. Be aware that each bedroom is basically a master suite with king bed and its own bathroom. While that’s great, we stayed here on a hunting trip with 7 guys. We just ended up have to bunk together for a couple of us.
Also, be aware that there is no dumpster for trash. You have to take it to Angel Fire communal dumpsters. This wouldn’t be a problem except we weren’t going into AF daily or at all. Our hunting unit was South toward Mora. Not the biggest deal, but with a big group this size there is a lot of trash.

Major negative item was the door lock. Would not always open. Gas smell at stove

This house is beautiful - loads of room with five large bedrooms (king beds in each - plus a Murphy bed in one of the rooms) each with it’s own private bath plus another half bath off the kitchen area. Two dishwashers, multiple ovens (one gas & another electric wall unit), two washers and two dryers. I can’t comment on the televisions as we never turned them on - too much to see and do!

Just an absolutely stunning home. So well-appointed and comfortable. Each room has its own faux paint style and decor is outstanding. Kitchen, family room, and upstairs rec-room are super. We had fun playing Ms. Pacman. Used the hot tub, played games and watched movies. We toured the Vietnam Memorial, Angel Fire resort and since we were there on Independence Day, we took in the morning parade and watched the first ever Drone Light Display in Angel Fire. Had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

We had 10 adults there. Several in my family have bad backs so they brought their own foam pads. The rest of us had no problems. One son tripped in the upstairs hallway because there was no night light--please consider putting a plug in that has its own lighting. Also, there were no beach towels for after the hot tub. Also, could use a water and a juice pitcher.

We absolutely loved our stay. We could not have asked for a better rental and location. Super great communication with the rental company as well. We will definitely be back.

This house was perfect for our siblings trip. 4 couples and one single each had their own King Size bed and own bathroom which was a huge plus! The kitchen had everything you needed for preparing a large meal not to mention 3 ovens, 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers for clean up.
Loved having a large dining table large enough for us all to sit at and visit during meals.
The living area was great for movie time and relaxing. Would have been nice to maybe have one more sofa so all 9 could sit comfortably and watch the TV. There was another TV on the second level for the times someone wanted to watch something different.
Almost every morning we could look out the large windows and watch the deer (Windows could use a good cleaning).
Just a couple of negatives: the outdoors could use some work to make it more appealing. Needs some yard work and clean up. If I would have had a blower with me I would have blown the courtyard area, entrances and sidewalks off so we didn’t track dirt in the house.
It’s nice that it is pet friendly for those that have pets but it really needed the floors cleaned better. Found several fur balls on the lower level of the home and lots of hair on the floors. I know it is a high ceiling but there were quite a few cob webs up there.
The house does not have one, but we purchased a fire pit so we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather with one another while sitting around a small warm fire. We donated it and left it for the next guest. I hope if we return to this house it will still be there or maybe a more permanent one.
Overall the Palace In The Pines was the perfect get away from the heat in Oklahoma and a place for us to enjoy each other.

We loved the beautiful home in such a great location in Angel Fire NM. The weather was so perfect and cool. We really enjoyed the 5 king size bedrooms with their own bathrooms. They were decorated so great and so comfortable. This home was beyond anything we expected. This home is massive, beautiful and perfect for a wonderful summer vacation in the summer. We loved it and will rent again definitely.

,We had 9-10 members of our family, ages 12-74, and the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living space were ideal for a week stay in the New Mexico mountains. There are lots of surrounding activities, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, zip lining, and fishing. I will likely stay at this property again in the future if it is available.

Beautiful house, honestly represented on the website. My concerns were:
Communication from the property manager with the code for the lock was about 2 hours prior to check in time, with no prior indication to advise of this timeline. I was concerned that it would be received in time.
NO instructions for how to use the keyless entry (had some trouble getting in on the second day)
The muddy driveway was a bit tricky to descend
No access to exercise equipment with no communication that this would be the case
The two communications with internet access code relayed two different passwords (perhaps a typo)

Great getaway!!!
We visit Angel Fire every Summer and this was a great place to stay. The area is quiet and the house is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed having their own bathroom. This is a great house for large groups. The kitchen had everything we needed along with plenty of towels. We will for sure look at this listing for our Winter ski trips to Angel Fire. :)

Beautiful Home
The home was gorgeous, in a great location near the ski area and had everything we needed! The heater was not working while we were there and I wish we would have known that before arrival, but the management team worked hard to help us out and accommodate us during our stay and for that we are thankful.

Great House! Gourmet Kitchen! Perfect for double family vacation
We loved this property for the week after Christmas into New Years. Perfect for two families of 5 with teen 13-20. We skied both Taos and Angel Fire. Space was great. Kitchen was well-appointed for making big meals, and dining room was large enough for all 10 of us to eat together. Great mudroom for gear; great fridge space (we cooked all our meals except for what was on the mountain). Great house & I bet it’s awesome in summer too.
