About this house rental
Tiny Tuck is chemical fragrance free and Medical Medium friendly! The Tiny Tuck is a reference to the Tuckaseegee River. If you're familiar with our Eagle's Nest 775023 (2/2) and Eagle's Landing 749709 (2/2), then you are aware of the views on this mountain ridge. Well this little gem is a 400 sq ft tiny house. This is where Shannon and I lived while we built the other 2 cabins. Now that we've also built and moved into our dream home, we have the opportunity to share the Tiny Tuck with you! Although the views are very similar to the other 2 homes, on the right side of Fontana Lake, around the bend, it turns into the Tuckaseegee River that flows right through downtown Bryson City. Outside, you'll find a large spacious 470 sq ft deck with outdoor furniture and breathtaking views of the lake and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There's also a charcoal grill and fire pit with starter firewood, perfect for kicking back, star gazing, and roasting marshmallows. Inside, you'll walk into a small great room with cathedral ceilings, a full chef's kitchen, and all the comforts of home. There's a 12x18 sq ft loft, a full bathroom with tub, and a queen size bedroom. Best of all, there are breathtaking views from every window.
Be at peace knowing these homes are completely free of any toxic fragrances or chemical cleaners. There are no air fresheners, plug ins, scented candles, incense, commercial laundry soaps or fabric softeners. We wash all of the linens, shower curtains, bath mats etc. in house to insure they are cleaned without any toxic commercial soaps, stain removers, or bleach. We use non toxic cleaning supplies like Unscented Seventh Generation, BonAmi, BioKleen, peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda. This entire 12 acre property has NEVER been sprayed with pesticide. We are aware of how these toxic commercial fragrances have a burning effect on the nerves, can perpetuate a weakened immune system, deplete the nervous system, and cause several other chronic health symptoms. Rejoice in knowing that inside our homes and outside in the surrounding hundreds of acres of National Forest, clean air and oxygen are absorbed with every breath. The Tiny Tuck is located on 12 acres in Bryson City, NC. This land is bordered on 3 sides by 600 acres of the Nantahala National Forest, Fontana Lake, and the GSMNP. Lake access and pontoon rentals are available just a few short minutes from the cabin. Downtown Bryson City is just a short 12 minute drive.
Bryson City was voted one of the "Top Ten Outdoor Towns in the East" by Outdoor Magazine, one of the Smithsonian's "20 Best Small Towns to Visit", "one of the top 8 Small Towns Near Stunning Nature" by Orbitz, and Trip Advisor ranked Bryson City as "the #1 Most Beautiful Little Mountain Town in America!" USA Today also featured Bryson City as "one of the 5 Most Charming American Towns with Mountain Views and All Season Destinations." Southern Living featured our Eagle's Nest cabin (which is on the same ridge) on the cover of an article titled, "8 Secluded Southern Stays Where the Views Don't Get Any Better!"
Discover what’s great about Bryson City, a peaceful mountain town bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with unique shops, galleries, lodging and restaurants. We have creeks for tubing, trails for hiking, horseback riding, and beautiful waterfalls. The Tiny Tuck was a tiny home with a huge view! The house was a great place to relax between outings to see the elk in the area, watch the rafters, and explore the local shops. The view is so beautiful that our pictures look like we are standing in front of a fake background!

We enjoyed the cabin so much and the views were spectacular! Everything was absolutely done with perfection the bed was so comfy! We had a wonder dinner of fresh trout at the Rivers End just a few miles away and we highly recommend it! Thank you for our first visit to the beautiful Smoky Mountains!

Very serene and tranquil setting for our anniversary. Great host communication.

Hard to find a place such as this, that is quiet and as close to the natural world as Tiny Tuck. At this time of the year you could sit on the deck and not hear air conditioners, power tools, power boats, cars, etc., etc., etc. - just wind thru the trees, birds, animals and insects. Simple and well put together.

We also booked the Tiny Tuck cabin for our daughter and son-in-law for the train ride with our grandsons! It is absolutely the cutest cabin! So cozy! The views are also phenomenal here as well! The cabin is well-decorated! Also very easy to check in! The location is close to town but off the beaten path! So quiet and relaxing! I would definitely book this one again!

The Tiny Tuck and its views were just breathtaking. Our visit coincided with the Smoky Mountains' peak fall foliage which made for a magical time for my wife and I as we celebrated our 25th Anniversary! Michelle and Shannon were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond for us in order to make our stay that much more memorable. If you are on the fence about staying here, don't be. The house is small, yes, but its perfect for a couple looking to get away from it all. The deck and accompanying views of Fontana Lake are just perfect. We even saw a black bear swim across the lake early one morning. We stayed 4ish days and found plenty to do in and around Bryson City. From a moonshine experience on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to finding sapphires at the Cherokee Ruby Mine... we did it all and can't wait to come back to the Tiny Tuck to unwind and do it all again.

The view was beautiful and the general atmosphere of the cottage was very Zen. We did not want to leave.

We came to the area to drive the Tail of the Dragon. And we had planned on doing hiking, exploring, dining out in the afternoons and evenings. But we never got to our afternoon activities because we couldn't leave the view from the balcony. Everything we needed was there.. large fridge, grill, and all the kitchen supplies. They even included the firewood. The only thing I will bring on my next visit is a zero gravity chair so I can nap on the balcony.

We stayed 5 nights and Timy Tuck and loves everything about it . The best part, of course, was the view! Just amazing! The cabin had everything we needed. Was the perfect size for us . Spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the beautiful view! Rented a pontoon boat one day from the near by marina and went down the river right by the cabin. It was a gorgeous trip down Fontana Lake and the river. Would recommend this beautiful spot!

Overall amazing experience, comfortable cabin and unbeatable views. Only issue was going uphill on the gravel road for us as we were late arriving, would recommend traveling during daylight hours. Otherwise great stay and wish we could come back soon!

What a fantastic place. Wife and I stayed for three nights. Loved the intimate tiny house. The views are unbelievable. We saw multiple bald eagles, wild turkeys, and things in the water we could not identify (most likely birds/ducks). Place is super clean and owners are awesome. People of Bryson City were great.

It was our first time staying in a tiny house and it worked out well. The house was as described and well appointed, check-in could not have been any easier, and the home was very clean. We enjoyed cocktails and a beautiful view from the porch, and a fire in the firepit while griliing out steaks from the market. We took a train ride out of Bryson City (open air car with bar) and were blessed with temps in the high seventies and lots of sunshine. We went fishing with a fabulous guide and caught three tropy fish among others while wading a pristine river. We witnessed a sunset from the top of Clingmans Dome, walked across the Fontana Dam, ate delicious brisket at award winning Haywoods in Dillsboro among other great adventures based out of "The Tiny Tuck"

The Tiny Tuck was charming, views were amazing.
Everything that was needed was there.
My only suggestion would be a couple rocking chairs on the deck.
